Classis records second-quarter sales of KRW 83.3 billion and operating profit of KRW 43 billion.

Classis announced on the 11th that it recorded consolidated sales of KRW 83.3 billion and operating profit of KRW 43 billion for the second quarter of 2025. These figures represent a 42% and 38% increase, respectively, compared to the same period last year. Sales surpassed KRW 80 billion, and operating profit set a new record for all quarters this year. Cumulative operating profit for the first half of the year reached KRW 81.8 billion, already exceeding the annual operating profit for 2024 (approximately 90%).

This performance reflects balanced growth across both the equipment and consumables segments. Equipment sales in the second quarter reached KRW 45.5 billion, a 47% year-on-year increase, and consumables sales also rose 35% to KRW 35.2 billion. Equipment sales grew 30% quarter-on-quarter, expanding the equipment sales share from 45% in the first quarter to 55% in the second quarter.

Classis explained that the performance was positively impacted by increased sales of its flagship product, "Shrink Universe" (known internationally as Ultraformer), the expansion of its "Volnumer" product line, and the launch of new laser equipment. According to the company, the Shrink series has sold over 19,000 units worldwide, with over 5 million procedures performed annually. Cumulative sales of Volnumer have surpassed 2,000 units.

Additionally, the recently launched microneedle radiofrequency (MNRF) device, "Qudessy," is based on a hybrid technology that combines invasive and non-invasive techniques and is expected to contribute to earnings in the second half of the year. Through Qudessy, Classis plans to secure technological credibility and differentiation in the MNRF market.

Global market expansion is also believed to have influenced performance. The company is continuing to expand in markets such as Thailand, Japan, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and Australia, and is strengthening its position in the US market with Everesse (the US name for Volnumer). After obtaining European CE MDR certification in May, the company also began full-scale sales in the European market.

Classis plans to continue its global expansion in the second half of the year through a marketing strategy focused on new products and combination treatments. Along with the relaunch of its laser equipment, the company plans to increase market penetration by expanding combination treatments, including "Vollink (Volnumer + Shrink)," and selling customized packages.
