OneCanNetworks signs a contract with DYNET to build an AI automation system for construction sites.

Woncan Networks (CEO Park Hee-soo), a company specializing in the distribution of equipment and materials, announced on the 11th that it has signed a contract with EDutech and artificial intelligence (AI) solution company DYNET (CEO Kim Pyeong-guk) to build an AI automation system for the digital transformation of construction sites.

This contract aims to integrate AI technology into the material ordering system used on construction sites, thereby standardizing material names and automating the ordering process. The project will unify the material names and classification systems previously used by different companies and implement functionality to automatically extract and match item information from ordering documents in Excel and PDF formats.

The main contents of this collaboration include ▲enhancing digital-based practice systems and expanding field application ▲organizing and standardizing AI-based material names ▲simplifying ordering procedures using automatic matching functions, etc. The core is improving data-based work processes and establishing a foundation for smart construction within the construction industry.

OneCanNetworks, a subsidiary of Woojin INS, a publicly listed company specializing in construction equipment, has operated the materials purchasing platform "Seolsilnet" for 24 years. Since then, it has expanded its digital distribution platform through "Seolsil Mall" and "STP (Supplier-Partner Collaboration Platform)". Recently, it developed "My Order," a materials ordering solution with a user interface and user experience centered on field workers. This design is designed with users unfamiliar with digital devices in mind.

The company expects this project to improve usability by reflecting the characteristics of the aging construction industry, and to serve as an opportunity to fully introduce data automation and standardization using AI technology.

Park Hee-soo, CEO of OneCanNetworks, stated, “Field-centered digitalization still poses a high barrier to entry for small and medium-sized businesses.” He added, “Through this collaboration, we will provide a user-friendly system that anyone can easily use, and support small businesses to adopt a digital environment without burden.”
