Series Ventures Completes Seed Investment in Beyond

Series Ventures (CEOs Seong-wook Kwak and Jun-sang Park) , a specialized accelerator in the Southeast region, announced on the 12th that it has completed seed investment in Beyond (CEO Seong-wook Jeong), a startup developing an integrated pet data management solution.

Beyond is developing a guardian-centric data integration solution based on a pet registration number-based identity authentication infrastructure. It also operates a mobile ID card called "Majung Pass," which can be used by multiple guardians. This service is provided through the "Mazung" app, a pet integration platform, and utilizes blockchain and AI technologies to securely manage pet registration information, biometric data (noseprint and facial), vaccination history, and preference information.

One of Beyond's key features is its world-first "shareable decentralized pet ID" architecture, which allows multiple guardians to securely share and manage information about a single pet. This enables data linkage across various industries, including healthcare, insurance, finance, and tourism, and can also be used as a means of pet identification in the public sector.

Beyond also operates "Majung Boss," an AI-based customer management solution for pet industry businesses. This solution integrates in real time with veterinary hospitals, grooming salons, kindergartens, hotels, and pet-friendly stores, supporting customer communication, reservations, and marketing automation, thereby enhancing on-site efficiency.

Series Ventures, which made this investment, focused on Beyond's technological prowess and market potential. Co-CEOs Park Jun-sang and Kwak Seong-wook stated, "The pet industry is rapidly transitioning to a data-driven economy, and related welfare policies are also expanding." Beyond, with its highly reliable identity authentication technology and capabilities to connect with various industries, holds strong growth potential in both domestic and international markets.

Beyond CEO Jeong Seong-wook said, “With this investment, we plan to fully advance our AI infrastructure and expand our services nationwide,” and added, “We will accelerate the creation of a pet data infrastructure ecosystem through cooperation with small business owners, medical institutions, local governments, financial institutions, and the government.”
