Anypen (CEO Jeon Jae-woong), a company developing AI-based XR platforms and related technologies, announced on the 14th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Dong Seoul University (President Yoo Kwang-seop) to build an artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation (DX) innovation ecosystem within the local community.
The signing ceremony was held at Dong Seoul University on the 12th, attended by key officials from both institutions. Through this agreement, both parties plan to jointly operate industry-academia cooperation programs in the AI and DX fields and establish a collaborative system for fostering AI convergence talent and promoting regional technological innovation.
Under the agreement, Anypen will provide content and educational materials related to AI and digital transformation, and provide expert evaluations of proposals and outcomes from collaborative projects. Dong Seoul University will be responsible for student recruitment and operations, and will provide infrastructure, including space and equipment, necessary for training.
Anipen CEO Jeon Jae-woong said, “Anipen aims to be a platform where anyone can easily create content and improve the quality of life through AI technology,” and added, “I think this agreement is meaningful because it will allow us to continue practical cooperation in the AI and DX fields with future talents.”
