Airability Signs Business Agreement with Vietnam's CT Group

Air mobility startup Airability (CEO Jinmo Lee and Taegyu Ryu) has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Vietnamese conglomerate CT Group, marking its full-scale entry into the Southeast Asian advanced air mobility (AAM) market.

This agreement was signed at the Korea-Vietnam Business Forum held at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul on the 12th, with the attendance of South Korean Prime Minister Kim Min-seok and Vietnamese Party Secretary General Lâm. The signing ceremony was attended by Aviability CEO Lee Jin-mo and CT Group Chairman Tran Kim Chung, while Kilsa Global Co-CEO Philip Park served as guarantor.

Through this agreement, Airability and CT Group plan to pursue comprehensive cooperation, including: ▲joint development and commercialization of high-speed eVTOL-based UAV platform technology; ▲implementation and demonstration of AAM technology; ▲establishment of an exclusive distribution system in key markets in Vietnam and Southeast Asia; and ▲joint development of an eVTOL/UAV pilot and maintenance training program. Kilsa Global will be responsible for demand exploration and project implementation in Vietnam and other major Southeast Asian countries.

In particular, CT Group will manufacture UAV products, including Airability's AB-U60 model, locally in Vietnam on an OEM basis and will be responsible for distribution and operations, including sales, marketing, customer support, and maintenance. Airability plans to accelerate technology commercialization through demonstration projects and pilot projects, along with the initial consignment production of 5,000 units.

CT UAV, a subsidiary of CT Group, is Vietnam's largest UAV manufacturer and conducts research and development on UAV and anti-UAV applications in 16 key sectors, including passenger transport, logistics, communications, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, security, national defense, and renewable energy. The two companies plan to expand commercial opportunities for various missions, including healthcare, express delivery, and security, and leverage this opportunity to expand into markets across Vietnam and ASEAN.

This agreement was achieved through strategic planning and coordination by Kilsa Global, a global business building company specializing in the Southeast Asian market. Kilsa Global facilitated business matching and negotiations between the two companies, served as an official communication channel with governments and institutions in both countries, and designed an implementation strategy based on the local Vietnamese market and regulations. Kilsa Global's Vietnam subsidiary will establish a foundation of trust and provide full-cycle support for AAM commercialization, including technology verification, joint development, OEM process advancement, and distribution expansion.

“This collaboration marks a significant milestone in applying Korea’s high-speed eVTOL technology to the Southeast Asian aviation industry,” said Lee Jin-mo, CEO of Airability. “By combining CT UAV’s manufacturing capabilities with our technological prowess, we will build a global model that leads the AAM market.”

Philip Park, CEO of Kilsa Global, said, “This agreement is a case that demonstrates the global technological prowess of Korean startups at an event attended by high-ranking officials from both countries,” and added, “As an implementation partner that connects industry, policy, and culture, Kilsa Global will contribute to the regional expansion and global commercialization of the UAV industry.”
