Health Breeze stated on the 12th that it had launched the prescription service Health Breeze by cooperating with Brain Consulting and ten other medical information system providers.

Before the launch, this service was only available to certain large hospitals, but now will be widely available to community hospitals, pharmacies, nursing homes, and other places.

Health Breeze is a company founded in 2009 by Jeong Huidu, Seoul University Hospital surgeon and medical director of medical animation. Animation Prescription service was first launched in 2010 as an animated matching service that let patients and their families understand medical information more easily.

In the United States, the medical information system (electronic chart) can display and transfer medical descriptions, and is very common. Instead of using text to convey health information, Health Breeze uses a simple animation to explain certain processes. Seoul University Hospital and more than ten other large hospitals have more than 850,000 patients receiving health education through Health Breeze every year.

10This service consists of an electronic chart connected to a medical team system and a patient/family application (Health Breeze Viewer). With prescription instructions for the medical information system function, medical teams in small hospitals can receive and view more than one thousand bits of health information from the electronic chart window, and patients and their families can watch the corresponding animation on their mobile phones.

The records of sending or watching animation are automatically stored in the medical information system, which improves the description efficiency of the medical teams of medium and small hospitals and the satisfaction and the trust of the patients and their families.

In order to continue to develop medical staff and services for patients and their families, Health Breeze has signed medical animation publishing contracts with the Korean Diabetes Association and Korean Medical Association, and is trying is to expand cooperation with other medical associations who want their animation service.

Health Breeze representative Jeong Huidu said when talking about the company’s blueprint: “In the future, the animation prescription service will be widely used in many medical fields, providing animation and prescription information Open-APIs to cooperating domestic and foreign medical information systems, large hospital medical information centers (computer rooms), and more. We will construct a medical society where health information is easy to understand, is reliable, and is shared freely.”
