Subscription beauty service MemeBox announced this morning that it has secured USD$60 million in global investment from VCs in Hong Kong, Europe and the UAE.

The Series C funding includes investment from Goodwater Capital, Altos Ventures, Cowboy Ventures, Formation Group, FundersClub, Pear Ventures, Mousse Partners, Cota Capital, and co-founder of Gurwitch products, Janet Gurwitch. In August, Memebox also received $66 million in Series C funding, with a total of $160 million in investment since the company launched in 2012.

Memebox says that it plans to use its latest investment to strengthen several aspects of its service such as mobile experience, products, and customer data analysis, as well as improving its position on the global market.

The company has already seen great success globally with its mobile apps, particularly in Asia, which accounts for 94% of all mobile transactions. Memebox’s own range of products such as ‘I’M MEME’ and ‘Pony Effect’ have also done well, with more than 60% quarterly growth since they were launched.
