기술보증기금(이사장 김종호, 이하 ‘기보’)은 4일(목) 부산·울산·경남(이하 ‘부울경’)지역에서 Kibo-Star밸리기업으로 선정된 동원정밀㈜(대표이사 정태성)를 방문해 지원성과를 점검하고 현장 간담회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 간담회는 부울경지역 Kibo-Star밸리기업의 현황과 우수 사례를 직접 확인하고 스케일업을 촉진하기 위한 협력 방안을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다. 현장에는 기보 부울경지역본부장과 창원지점장을 비롯한 기보 관계자, 동원정밀㈜ 부사장과 임직원이 함께해 생산 공정을 둘러보고 다양한 의견을 나눴다.
동원정밀㈜는 K9 자주포와 장갑차에 사용되는 서스펜션 및 로드 휠, 주제어기 등 방산용 기계·전자부품을 전문적으로 생산하는 기업이다. 이 회사는 자체 기술력을 바탕으로 핵심부품을 개발·양산하며 생산성과 공급 능력을 높여왔으며, 이를 통해 중견기업으로 도약 가능성을 키우고 있는 지역 대표 방산기업으로 평가받고 있다.
Kibo-Star밸리는 우수한 기술력과 성장 잠재력을 갖춘 혁신기업을 대상으로, 창업연한과 성장단계에 맞춰 ▲사전 보증한도 부여(단계별 한도 30억원에서 100억원 이내) ▲보증비율 우대(95%, 3년간) ▲보증료 감면(0.5%p, 3년간) 등을 제공하는 기보의 핵심 스케일업 지원 프로그램이다.
박경수 동원정밀㈜ 부사장은 “최근 K-방산의 글로벌 경쟁력 강화로 제품 수요가 증가하는 시점에 Kibo-Star밸리기업으로 선정돼 적기에 설비를 확충하고 생산성을 높일 수 있었다”고 밝혔다.
김종빈 기보 부울경지역본부장은 “Kibo-Star밸리 프로그램은 혁신기업이 성장단계에 맞춰 스케일업을 이루고 한 단계 더 도약할 수 있도록 지원하는 제도”라며, “앞으로도 현장의 생생한 의견을 반영해 지역 혁신기업의 체계적인 성장과 글로벌 경쟁력 강화를 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Kibo held an on-site meeting with Dongwon Precision, a Kibo-Star Valley company in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region.
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Korea Technology Finance Corporation, Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as “Kibo”) announced that on Thursday the 4th, it visited Dongwon Precision Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong Tae-seong), which was selected as a Kibo-Star Valley company in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam (hereinafter referred to as “Bu-Ul-Gyeong”) region, to inspect the performance of its support and hold an on-site meeting.
This meeting was organized to directly observe the current status and best practices of Kibo-Star Valley companies in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeonggi regions, and to discuss cooperative measures to promote scale-up. Attendees included the head of Kibo's Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeonggi regional headquarters, the head of the Changwon branch, and other Kibo officials, along with the vice president and executives of Dongwon Precision Co., Ltd., who toured the production process and exchanged opinions.
Dongwon Precision Co., Ltd. specializes in the production of defense mechanical and electronic components, including suspensions, road wheels, and main controllers, used in K9 self-propelled howitzers and armored vehicles. Leveraging its proprietary technology, the company has developed and mass-produced core components, enhancing productivity and supply capacity. This has led to its recognition as a leading regional defense company, with the potential to grow into a mid-sized enterprise.
Kibo-Star Valley is Kibo's core scale-up support program that provides ▲preliminary guarantee limit (limit by stage from 3 billion won to 10 billion won) ▲preferential guarantee ratio (95%, for 3 years) ▲guarantee fee reduction (0.5%p, for 3 years) to innovative companies with excellent technological prowess and growth potential, according to the founding period and growth stage.
Park Gyeong-su, Vice President of Dongwon Precision Co., Ltd., said, “As demand for our products has increased due to the recent strengthening of K-defense’s global competitiveness, we were selected as a Kibo-Star Valley company, which allowed us to expand our facilities and increase productivity in a timely manner.”

(PDG Jeong Tae-seong), qui a été sélectionnée comme entreprise Kibo-Star Valley dans la région de Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam (ci-après dénommée « Bu-Ul-Gyeong »), pour inspecter les performances de son support et tenir une réunion sur place.

Park Gyeong-su, vice-président de Dongwon Precision Co., Ltd., a déclaré : « La demande pour nos produits ayant augmenté en raison du récent renforcement de la compétitivité mondiale de K-defense, nous avons été sélectionnés comme entreprise de Kibo-Star Valley, ce qui nous a permis d'agrandir nos installations et d'augmenter notre productivité en temps opportun. »
