정부지원사업 집행 행정 위탁 전문기업 ㈜클로토는 글로벌 진출 지원 기업 스코모트 주식회사와 스타트업의 해외 확장과 정부지원사업 운영 안정화를 위한 전략적 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 16일 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 최근 급증하고 있는 국내 스타트업의 해외 진출 수요와 외국계 기업의 국내 시장 진입 증가 추세에 대응하기 위해 마련됐다. 양사는 글로벌 시장 진출과 안정적인 행정 집행이라는 스타트업의 핵심 과제를 동시에 지원할 수 있는 협력 체계를 구축하기로 했다.
스코모트는 Stripe, Alibaba 등 글로벌 플랫폼과의 협력 기반을 바탕으로, 국내 기업의 해외 진출을 위한 ‘Go-to-Global’ 프로그램을 운영해 왔다. 법인 설립, 현지 네트워크 연계, 투자자 발굴, 시장 진입 전략까지 전 과정을 지원하며, 국내 스타트업의 해외 진출에 실질적인 도움을 제공하고 있다.
클로토는 정부지원사업 수행 과정에서 발생하는 다양한 행정·집행 업무를 대행해온 기업으로, 자사의 서비스 ‘Hello Unicorn’을 통해 스타트업의 불용 방지, 집행 오류 최소화, 연구 행정 최적화 등을 지원하고 있다. 최근에는 해외 기업의 한국 진입과 ‘역플립(Reverse-Flip)’ 과정에서의 행정 리스크 해소까지 지원 영역을 확장 중이다.
양사는 이번 협약을 통해 ▲국내 스타트업의 해외 법인 설립 및 시장 진출 지원 ▲정부지원사업 집행 효율성 강화 ▲외국계 기업의 국내 시장 진입 및 법적·행정 지원 ▲역플립을 포함한 양방향 확장 전략 등 다양한 협력 분야에서 공동 사업을 추진할 예정이다.
정형조 스코모트 대표는 “국내 스타트업의 글로벌 확장과 외국계 기업의 한국 시장 진입은 동시에 증가하고 있다”며 “이번 협력은 이중 과제를 해소할 수 있는 실행력 있는 모델”이라고 말했다.
