비전 AI 전문 기업 슈퍼브에이아이(대표 김현수)는 산업통상자원부가 주도하는 ‘K-휴머노이드 연합’의 참여기업으로 선정됐다고 18일 밝혔다.
K-휴머노이드 연합은 정부가 2025년 4월 출범시킨 산학연 민관 협력체로, 2030년까지 글로벌 휴머노이드 3대 강국 진입을 목표로 한다. 서울대, KAIST, 연세대, 포항공대(POSTECH) 등 연구기관과 삼성전자, LG전자, SK, 포스코 등 대기업이 참여하며, 정부는 총 2조원 규모의 투자를 계획하고 있다. 이번 연합은 AI·로보틱스 핵심 기술 개발과 제조·물류·안전·공공 분야 산업 확산을 통해 휴머노이드 생태계를 구축한다.
슈퍼브에이아이는 이번 연합에서 휴머노이드의 시각 지능 구현과 피지컬 AI 개발을 담당한다. 슈퍼브에이아이는 국내 최초 비전 파운데이션 모델 ‘제로(ZERO)’를 독자 개발했으며, 자사 솔루션을 100개 이상 제조 현장에 적용한 경험을 보유하고 있다. 이를 바탕으로 사물 검출, 동작 분석, 안전 관제 등 휴머노이드 자율 작업에 필수적인 기술을 제공한다.
‘제로(ZERO)’는 휴머노이드의 즉각적인 현장 투입을 가능하게 하는 핵심 기술이다. 추가 학습 없이 텍스트나 이미지 프롬프트만으로 현장 적용이 가능해 다양한 작업 환경에 신속하게 적응할 수 있다. 90만 개의 데이터로 학습을 완료했으며, 세계 최대 비전 AI 학회 CVPR 2025 챌린지에서 2위를 기록했다. 이러한 비전 파운데이션 모델 구현 경험은 휴머노이드의 환경 인식과 판단에 필수적인 시각 지능을 구현하는 데 직접 활용된다.
슈퍼브에이아이는 ‘제로’와 함께 ‘슈퍼브 플랫폼’을 통해 휴머노이드 AI 개발을 지원한다. 슈퍼브 플랫폼은 데이터 라벨링부터 모델 학습, 배포까지 AI 개발 전 과정을 지원하는 MLOps 솔루션으로, 현재 삼성, LG전자, 현대차, 퀄컴, SK텔레콤, 토요타, 닛폰스틸(일본제철) 등 100개 이상 기업이 사용 중이다. 자율주행, 불량 검출, 안전 관제 등 다양한 제조 현장에서 검증된 경험은 휴머노이드를 연구실이 아닌 실제 작업 환경에 즉시 투입할 수 있는 기반이 될 수 있다.
슈퍼브에이아이는 현재 과학기술정보통신부의 ‘AI 파운데이션 모델’ 구축 사업에도 참여하고 있다. LG AI연구원 컨소시엄에서 비-LG 계열사 중 유일하게 AI 모델 개발을 맡아 비전 언어 모델(VLM)과 멀티모달·피지컬 AI를 위한 데이터 파운데이션 설계와 구축을 수행한다. 이번 K-휴머노이드 연합 참여로 두 국책 사업 간 시너지를 창출하며, 휴머노이드 개발에 필요한 비전-언어-멀티모달-피지컬 AI 생태계 구축을 가속화할 전망이다.
한편, 2018년 설립된 슈퍼브에이아이는 한국, 미국, 일본에 진출해 있으며 31건의 AI 기술 특허를 보유하고 있다. 미국 SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 인증을 취득했으며 현재까지 총 490억원의 투자를 유치했다.
김현수 대표는 “국내 최초 비전 파운데이션 모델 구현 경험과 100개 이상 제조 현장에서 검증된 기술력을 바탕으로 K-휴머노이드 연합에서 핵심 역할을 수행하게 됐다”며, “대한민국이 글로벌 휴머노이드 산업을 선도하도록 기여하고, AI와 로보틱스 융합이 만들어낼 새로운 미래를 앞장서 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Superb AI Selected as Participating Company in the K-Humanoid Alliance
Superb AI (CEO Hyunsoo Kim) , a vision AI specialized company, announced on the 18th that it was selected as a participating company in the 'K-Humanoid Alliance' led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The K-Humanoid Alliance, a public-private partnership launched by the government in April 2025, aims to become one of the top three global humanoid powerhouses by 2030. Research institutions such as Seoul National University, KAIST, Yonsei University, and Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) and major corporations such as Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, SK, and POSCO are participating, and the government plans to invest a total of 2 trillion won. The alliance aims to build a humanoid ecosystem by developing core AI and robotics technologies and expanding them into manufacturing, logistics, safety, and public sectors.
In this alliance, SuperbAI will be responsible for implementing humanoid visual intelligence and developing physical AI. SuperbAI independently developed Korea's first vision foundation model, "ZERO," and has experience applying its solutions to over 100 manufacturing sites. Building on this experience, SuperbAI will provide essential technologies for humanoid autonomous operations, including object detection, motion analysis, and safety control.
"ZERO" is a core technology that enables immediate field deployment of humanoids. It can be applied on-site with just text or image prompts, without additional training, enabling rapid adaptation to a variety of work environments. It completed training with 900,000 data points and ranked second in the CVPR 2025 Challenge, the world's largest vision AI conference. This experience implementing the Vision Foundation model is directly applied to implementing the visual intelligence essential for humanoids' environmental perception and judgment.
Superb AI, in collaboration with Zero, supports humanoid AI development through the Superb Platform. The Superb Platform is an MLOps solution that supports the entire AI development process, from data labeling to model training and deployment. Currently, over 100 companies, including Samsung, LG Electronics, Hyundai Motor Company, Qualcomm, SK Telecom, Toyota, and Nippon Steel (Nippon Steel), use the platform. Its proven experience in various manufacturing applications, including autonomous driving, defect detection, and safety control, can serve as a foundation for immediately deploying humanoids beyond the lab into real-world work environments.
Superb AI is currently participating in the Ministry of Science and ICT's "AI Foundation Model" development project. As the only non-LG affiliate within the LG AI Research Institute consortium, Superb AI is responsible for AI model development, designing and building a data foundation for the Vision Language Model (VLM) and multimodal/physical AI. This participation in the K-Humanoid Alliance is expected to create synergy between the two national projects and accelerate the establishment of the vision-language-multimodal-physical AI ecosystem necessary for humanoid development.
Meanwhile, Superb AI, founded in 2018, operates in Korea, the US, and Japan and holds 31 AI technology patents. It has obtained US SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications and has attracted a total of KRW 49 billion in investment to date.

スーパーブアイは今回の連合でヒューマノイドの視覚知能の実装とフィジカルAIの開発を担当する。スーパーブエイアイは国内初のビジョンファンデーションモデル「ゼロ（ZERO）」を独自開発し、自社ソリューションを100以上の製造現場に適用した経験を保有している。これに基づいて、物体検出、動作分析、安全管制などヒューマノイド自律作業に不可欠な技術を提供する。
「ゼロ（ZERO）」はヒューマノイドの即時現場投入を可能にする核心技術だ。追加学習なしでテキストやイメージプロンプトだけで現場適用が可能で、多様な作業環境に迅速に適応できる。 90万個のデータで学習を完了し、世界最大ビジョンAI学会CVPR 2025チャレンジで2位を記録した。このビジョンファンデーションモデルの実装経験は、ヒューマノイドの環境認識と判断に不可欠な視覚インテリジェンスを実装するために直接使用されます。

Superb AI目前正参与韩国科学技术信息通信部（MSICT）的“人工智能基础模型”开发项目。作为LG人工智能研究院联盟中唯一一家非LG成员公司，Superb AI负责人工智能模型开发，并负责视觉语言模型（VLM）和多模态/物理人工智能的数据基础架构的设计和构建。此次参与K-Humanoid联盟有望促进两个国家级项目之间的协同效应，并加速构建人形机器人开发所需的视觉-语言-多模态-物理人工智能生态系统。

Superb AI (PDG Hyunsoo Kim) , une société spécialisée dans l'IA de vision, a annoncé le 18 qu'elle avait été sélectionnée comme entreprise participante à la « K-Humanoid Alliance » dirigée par le ministère du Commerce, de l'Industrie et de l'Énergie.
L'Alliance K-Humanoid, un partenariat public-privé lancé par le gouvernement en avril 2025, ambitionne de devenir l'un des trois leaders mondiaux de la robotique humanoïde d'ici 2030. Des institutions de recherche telles que l'Université nationale de Séoul, KAIST, l'Université Yonsei et l'Université des sciences et technologies de Pohang (POSTECH), ainsi que de grandes entreprises comme Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, SK et POSCO, y participent.
