경기도·서울대학교 공동출연법인 차세대융합기술연구원(원장 김연상, 이하 융기원)은 9월 23일 화성산업진흥원과 AI산업 기반 중소기업 지원 활성화를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 경기 지역 중소기업의 AI 기술 도입 및 활용 촉진, 산업경쟁력 제고를 위한 양 기관의 긴밀하고 전략적 협력 체계를 구축하고자 추진되었으며, 이날 협약식은 융기원 김연상 원장과 진흥원 전병선 원장을 비롯하여 양 기관의 주요 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 융기원 회의실에서 진행됐다.
양 기관은 본 업무협약을 통해 ▲중소기업 대상 융합기술 적용 컨설팅 ▲기술 검증 연계 지원 ▲기술사업화 모색 노력 ▲중소기업 공동기획연구과제 수행 등의 사항에 대해 협력함으로써 격차 해소, 사회문제 해결 등 공공기관 사회적 책임 이행에 앞장 서기로 약속했다.
한편 올해 융기원은 도내 AI기업에 GPU 등 컴퓨팅 자원을 지원하는 ‘AI 고성능 컴퓨팅 지원 사업’, AI 도입과 디지털 전환을 지원하는 ‘경기 AI+X 아카데미 사업’ 등을 추진하고 있으며, 화성산업진흥원은 기초 지자체 최초 AI EXPO ‘MARS 2025’에 이어 AI기술 활용으로 사회문제를 해결하는 ‘경기도 AI 챌린지 프로그램’ 등을 수행할 예정이다.
이에 따라, 이번 협약은 양 기관이 다양한 AI 사업을 적극 추진하며 AI산업 생태계 조성과 도내 기업 경쟁력 제고에 기여하고 있다는 공통점을 갖고 있어 더욱 의미가 있으며, 본 협약을 계기로 AI산업을 중심으로 한 경기·화성 지역 내 산업 생태계 혁신과 중소기업의 지속가능한 성장 기반 마련에 박차를 가할 계획이다.
전병선 진흥원장은 “이번 협약은 단순한 중소기업 지원을 넘어, AI 기반 산업 전환이라는 시대적 요구에 대응하는 새로운 지역 혁신 모델의 시발점이 될 것”이라며 기대감을 나타냈다.
융기원 김연상 원장은 “융기원이 보유한 AI기술 역량과 연구 인프라를 활용해 도내 기업의 기술 자립을 돕고 AI 역량을 높일 수 있도록 역할을 다할 것”이라며, “이번 협약을 계기로 경기지역의 AI 산업 생태계 전반에 혁신을 불러올 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Next Generation Convergence Technology Research Institute signed a business agreement with the Hwaseong Industrial Promotion Agency.
The Next Generation Convergence Technology Research Institute (Director Kim Yeon-sang, hereinafter referred to as the Fusion Technology Research Institute), a joint corporation of Gyeonggi Province and Seoul National University, announced on September 23 that it signed a business agreement with the Hwaseong Industrial Promotion Agency to promote support for small and medium-sized enterprises based on the AI industry.
This agreement was promoted to establish a close and strategic cooperative system between the two organizations to promote the introduction and utilization of AI technology by small and medium-sized enterprises in the Gyeonggi region and enhance industrial competitiveness. The agreement signing ceremony was held in the conference room of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Businesses, with the attendance of President Kim Yeon-sang of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Businesses and President Jeon Byeong-seon of the Promotion Agency, as well as key officials from both organizations.
Through this business agreement, the two organizations promised to take the lead in fulfilling the social responsibilities of public institutions, such as eliminating gaps and solving social problems, by cooperating on ▲consulting on the application of convergence technologies to small and medium-sized enterprises ▲support for technology verification ▲efforts to explore technology commercialization ▲performance of joint research projects for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Meanwhile, this year, the Gyeonggi Provincial Government is promoting the 'AI High-Performance Computing Support Project' to provide computing resources such as GPUs to AI companies in the province, and the 'Gyeonggi AI+X Academy Project' to support AI adoption and digital transformation, while the Hwaseong Industrial Promotion Agency plans to carry out the 'Gyeonggi AI Challenge Program' to solve social problems by utilizing AI technology, following the first local government AI EXPO 'MARS 2025'.
Accordingly, this agreement is even more meaningful because both organizations share the commonality of actively pursuing various AI projects and contributing to the creation of an AI industry ecosystem and enhancing the competitiveness of local companies. With this agreement as an opportunity, the two organizations plan to spur innovation in the industrial ecosystem centered on the AI industry in the Gyeonggi-Hwaseong region and lay the foundation for sustainable growth for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Jeon Byeong-seon, the president of the Promotion Agency, expressed his expectations, saying, “This agreement goes beyond simple support for small and medium-sized enterprises and will serve as the starting point for a new regional innovation model that responds to the demands of the times, such as the AI-based industrial transformation.”
Kim Yeon-sang, the president of the Gyeonggi Research Institute, said, “We will do our best to help local companies achieve technological independence and enhance their AI capabilities by utilizing the AI technology capabilities and research infrastructure that the Institute possesses,” and added, “We will do our best to bring about innovation across the entire AI industry ecosystem in the Gyeonggi region through this agreement.”

京畿道・ソウル大学共同出演法である次世代融合技術研究院（院長キム・ヨンサン、以下ユン・ギウォン）は９月２３日、華城産業振興院とＡＩ産業基盤中小企業支援活性化のための業務協約を締結したと明らかにした。

一方、今年ユン・ギウォンは都内AI企業にGPUなどコンピューティング資源を支援する「AI高性能コンピューティング支援事業」、AI導入とデジタル転換を支援する「競技AI+Xアカデミー事業」などを推進しており、華城産業振興院は基礎自治体初AI EXPO「MARS 2025」 「京畿道AIチャレンジプログラム」などを行う予定だ。
これに伴い、今回の条約は両機関が多様なAI事業を積極的に推進し、AI産業生態系の造成と都内企業競争力の向上に寄与しているという共通点を有しており、さらに意味があり、本協約を契機にAI産業を中心とした景気・火星地域内の産業生態系革新と中小企業の持続可能である。
チョン・ビョンソン振興院長は「今回の協約は単純な中小企業支援を超え、AIベースの産業転換という時代的要求に対応する新しい地域革新モデルの始発点になるだろう」と期待感を示した。
ユン・ギウォンのキム・ヨンサン院長は「ユン・ギウォンが保有するAI技術力量と研究インフラを活用して都内企業の技術自立を助けてAI能力を高めるように役割を果たすだろう」とし、「今回の条約をきっかけに京畿地域のAI産業エコシステム全般に革新を呼び起こすことができるように」

下一代融合技术研究院与华城市产业振兴院签署了商业协议。
京畿道和首尔国立大学的合资企业——下一代融合技术研究所（所长金延相，以下简称融合技术研究所）于9月23日宣布，已与华城市产业振兴院签署商业协议，以促进对人工智能产业中小企业的支持。

振兴院院长全炳善表达了他的期望，他说：“这项协议不仅仅是对中小企业的简单支持，它将成为应对时代需求（例如基于人工智能的产业转型）的新型区域创新模式的起点。”
京畿道研究院院长金延相表示：“我们将尽最大努力利用研究院拥有的人工智能技术能力和研究基础设施，帮助当地企业实现技术独立，提升其人工智能能力。”他还补充道：“我们将尽最大努力通过这项协议，推动京畿道地区整个人工智能产业生态系统的创新。”

L'Institut de recherche sur les technologies de convergence de nouvelle génération a signé un accord commercial avec l'Agence de promotion industrielle de Hwaseong.
L'Institut de recherche sur les technologies de convergence de nouvelle génération (directeur Kim Yeon-sang, ci-après dénommé Institut de recherche sur les technologies de fusion), une société conjointe de la province de Gyeonggi et de l'Université nationale de Séoul, a annoncé le 23 septembre avoir signé un accord commercial avec l'Agence de promotion industrielle de Hwaseong pour promouvoir le soutien aux petites et moyennes entreprises du secteur de l'IA.
Cet accord visait à établir un système de coopération étroit et stratégique entre les deux organisations afin de promouvoir l'introduction et l'utilisation de l'intelligence artificielle par les petites et moyennes entreprises de la région de Gyeonggi et de renforcer leur compétitivité industrielle. La cérémonie de signature s'est déroulée dans la salle de conférence de la Fédération coréenne des petites et moyennes entreprises, en présence de son président, Kim Yeon-sang, de son président, Jeon Byeong-seon, de l'Agence de promotion, ainsi que de hauts responsables des deux organisations.
Par le biais de cet accord commercial, les deux organisations se sont engagées à jouer un rôle moteur dans l'accomplissement des responsabilités sociales des institutions publiques, telles que la réduction des lacunes et la résolution des problèmes sociaux, en coopérant sur : ▲le conseil sur l'application des technologies de convergence aux petites et moyennes entreprises ; ▲le soutien à la vérification des technologies ; ▲les efforts visant à explorer la commercialisation des technologies ; ▲la réalisation de projets de recherche conjoints pour les petites et moyennes entreprises.
Parallèlement, cette année, le gouvernement provincial de Gyeonggi promeut le « Projet de soutien au calcul haute performance en IA » afin de fournir des ressources informatiques telles que des GPU aux entreprises d'IA de la province, et le « Projet d'Académie Gyeonggi AI+X » pour soutenir l'adoption de l'IA et la transformation numérique, tandis que l'Agence de promotion industrielle de Hwaseong prévoit de mettre en œuvre le « Programme de défi IA de Gyeonggi » pour résoudre les problèmes sociaux en utilisant la technologie de l'IA, suite à la première exposition locale sur l'IA du gouvernement « MARS 2025 ».
Par conséquent, cet accord revêt une importance particulière car les deux organisations partagent l'objectif commun de mener activement divers projets d'IA et de contribuer à la création d'un écosystème industriel dédié à l'IA, tout en renforçant la compétitivité des entreprises locales. Grâce à cet accord, les deux organisations entendent stimuler l'innovation au sein de l'écosystème industriel centré sur l'IA dans la région de Gyeonggi-Hwaseong et jeter les bases d'une croissance durable pour les PME.
Jeon Byeong-seon, président de l'Agence de promotion, a exprimé ses attentes en déclarant : « Cet accord va au-delà d'un simple soutien aux petites et moyennes entreprises et servira de point de départ à un nouveau modèle d'innovation régional qui répond aux exigences de l'époque, telles que la transformation industrielle basée sur l'IA. »
Kim Yeon-sang, président de l'Institut de recherche de Gyeonggi, a déclaré : « Nous ferons tout notre possible pour aider les entreprises locales à atteindre l'indépendance technologique et à renforcer leurs capacités en IA en utilisant les capacités technologiques et l'infrastructure de recherche en IA dont dispose l'Institut », et a ajouté : « Nous ferons tout notre possible pour susciter l'innovation dans l'ensemble de l'écosystème industriel de l'IA dans la région de Gyeonggi grâce à cet accord. »
