초기 투자 스타트업 전문 투자사 지디벤처스(ZDVC)가 친환경 소재 개발 기업 스튜디오 다시물결에 시드 투자를 단행했다. 투자 금액은 비공개다.
스튜디오 다시물결은 산업용 수준의 강도와 내구성을 갖춘 바이오플라스틱 신소재를 개발하고 있다. 기존 친환경 플라스틱의 한계로 지적돼 온 내구성 문제를 식물 유래 나노섬유 기반 독자 기술로 보완한 것이 특징이다. 현재는 PHA(폴리하이드록시알카노에이트) 기반 고성능 바이오플라스틱 제품 ‘REO(레오)’를 상용화 중이다.
지디벤처스는 해당 기술이 별도의 생산설비 투자 없이 기존 제조라인에 바로 적용 가능하다는 점과, 글로벌 친환경 규제 강화 흐름에 대응할 수 있는 기술력과 시장성을 갖췄다는 점을 높이 평가해 투자를 결정했다.
스튜디오 다시물결은 2023년 예비창업패키지에 선정된 이후, 국방부 장관상 수상, 청년창업사관학교 선정 등 주요 정부 사업에 연이어 선정되며 기술력을 입증해 왔다. 또한 한국건설생활환경시험연구원, 한국생산기술연구원 청정기술연구소 등과의 연구 협력과 함께 자체 생산 공장과 대기업 협력사를 확보하는 등 사업 기반을 확대하고 있다. 최근에는 환경부 주관 환경창업대전에서 환경산업기술원장상을 수상하며 성장세를 이어가고 있다.
스튜디오 다시물결은 이번 투자를 기반으로 연구개발, 운영, 영업 등 전 분야에서 인재 확보에 나서고, 2026년까지 미국과 동남아 시장 진출을 목표로 글로벌 사업 확장에 속도를 낼 계획이다.
지디벤처스는 기술력과 성장 가능성을 갖춘 초기 스타트업에 대한 전략적 투자를 이어가고 있으며, 올해 상반기에는 AI 콘텐츠, 글로벌 핀테크, 프리미엄 주류 브랜드 등 다양한 분야의 국내외 스타트업에 투자한 바 있다.

GD Ventures makes seed investment in eco-friendly materials specialist Studio Dashimulgyeol.
ZDVC, an early-stage startup investment firm, has made a seed investment in Studio Dashimulgeul, an eco-friendly materials development company. The investment amount was undisclosed.
Studio Dasimulgyeol is developing a new bioplastic material with industrial-grade strength and durability. Its unique feature is that it overcomes the durability issues previously identified as limitations of existing eco-friendly plastics using proprietary plant-derived nanofiber-based technology. Currently, it is commercializing "REO," a high-performance bioplastic product based on PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoate).
GD Ventures decided to invest in the technology because it highly evaluated the fact that it can be directly applied to existing manufacturing lines without separate investment in production facilities, and that it has the technological prowess and marketability to respond to the trend of strengthening global environmental regulations.
Since being selected for the 2023 Preliminary Startup Package, Studio Dasimulgyeol has proven its technological prowess by being selected for a series of major government projects, including the Minister of National Defense Award and selection as a Youth Entrepreneurship Academy. Furthermore, the company is expanding its business foundation by collaborating with the Korea Conformity Laboratories and the Clean Technology Research Institute of the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, as well as securing its own production facility and major partners. Recently, the company won the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute Director's Award at the Ministry of Environment's Environmental Startup Competition, further solidifying its growth momentum.
Based on this investment, Studio Dasimulgyeol plans to secure talent across all areas, including research and development, operations, and sales, and accelerate its global business expansion, aiming to enter the U.S. and Southeast Asian markets by 2026.
GD Ventures continues to make strategic investments in early-stage startups with technological prowess and growth potential. In the first half of this year, it invested in domestic and international startups across various fields, including AI content, global fintech, and premium liquor brands.
GD Ventures CEO Kim Ha-kyung said, “Studio Dasimulgyeol is continuing meaningful growth based on its competitive technology in the field of sustainable new materials,” and added, “We expect it to have a positive ripple effect on the entire eco-friendly materials industry in the future.”

スタジオ再波は今回の投資を基盤に研究開発、運営、営業など全分野で人材確保に乗り出し、2026年まで米国と東南アジア市場進出を目標にグローバル事業拡大にスピードを出す計画だ。

ZDVC, une société d'investissement spécialisée dans les jeunes pousses, a réalisé un investissement d'amorçage dans Studio Dashimulgeul, une entreprise de développement de matériaux écologiques. Le montant de l'investissement n'a pas été divulgué.
Le studio Dasimulgyeol développe un nouveau bioplastique offrant une résistance et une durabilité de qualité industrielle. Depuis sa sélection pour le programme d'accompagnement de démarrage 2023, Studio Dasimulgyeol a démontré son expertise technologique en étant retenu pour plusieurs projets gouvernementaux majeurs, dont le Prix du ministre de la Défense nationale et son admission à l'Académie de l'entrepreneuriat des jeunes. L'entreprise consolide également ses bases en collaborant avec les Laboratoires coréens de conformité et l'Institut de recherche sur les technologies propres de l'Institut coréen de technologie industrielle, et en se dotant de son propre site de production et de partenaires clés. Récemment, elle a remporté le Prix du directeur de l'Institut coréen des industries et technologies environnementales lors du concours de startups environnementales du ministère de l'Environnement, confirmant ainsi sa dynamique de croissance.
Grâce à cet investissement, Studio Dasimulgyeol prévoit de recruter des talents dans tous les domaines, notamment la recherche et le développement, les opérations et les ventes, et d'accélérer son expansion commerciale mondiale, avec pour objectif de pénétrer les marchés américain et d'Asie du Sud-Est d'ici 2026.
GD Ventures poursuit ses investissements stratégiques dans des startups en phase d'amorçage présentant un fort potentiel technologique et de croissance. Au cours du premier semestre de cette année, la société a investi dans des startups nationales et internationales opérant dans divers secteurs, notamment les contenus liés à l'IA, la fintech mondiale et les marques de spiritueux haut de gamme.
Kim Ha-kyung, PDG de GD Ventures, a déclaré : « Studio Dasimulgyeol poursuit une croissance significative grâce à sa technologie compétitive dans le domaine des nouveaux matériaux durables », et a ajouté : « Nous prévoyons que cela aura un effet d'entraînement positif sur l'ensemble du secteur des matériaux écologiques à l'avenir. »
