산업용 모바일 컴퓨터 전문기업 포인트모바일이 오는 10월 17일부터 19일까지 아랍에미리트 두바이에서 개최되는 ‘GITEX GLOBAL 2025’에 참가해 차세대 올인원 산업용 모바일 컴퓨터 ‘MF52’를 공개한다고 13일 밝혔다.
‘GITEX GLOBAL’은 중동·아프리카 정보통신기술(ICT) 박람회로, 매년 글로벌 ICT 기업들의 신제품 발표와 기술 교류가 이뤄지는 주요 전시회다. 포인트모바일은 이번 전시를 통해 ▲5G 기반 재난안전망 단말기 ‘PM95’ ▲고내구성 핸드헬드 단말기 ‘PM452’ ▲배터리 교체형 산업용 태블릿 ‘TR54’ ▲안드로이드 기반 스마트 POS 단말기 ‘PS32’ 등 주요 제품을 함께 선보일 예정이다.
이 중 ‘MF52’는 바코드 스캔, RFID, NFC 결제, 지문 인식, 고화질 카메라 등 복수의 기능을 하나의 단말기에 통합한 신제품으로, 산업 현장에서 사용되는 복합 장비를 단일 장치로 대체할 수 있도록 설계됐다. 최신 Wi-Fi 7 및 5G 통신 기술을 적용하고, 퀄컴 QCM6690 옥타코어 프로세서를 탑재해 높은 성능과 속도를 구현했다. 또한 교체형 대용량 배터리, 미국 국방성 내구성 테스트(MIL-STD-810H)를 통과한 견고한 구조, 슬림한 디자인 등을 갖춰 다양한 산업 환경에서 활용 가능성이 높다는 평가다.
한편, 주력 모델 중 하나인 PM95는 5G 기반 MCPTT(Mission Critical Push-To-Talk) 기능을 지원하며, 실시간 음성통신, 긴급 호출, 위치 추적, 라이브 스트리밍 등 재난안전망 환경에 특화된 기능을 갖추고 있다. 해당 제품은 국내 경찰, 소방, 군 등 주요 안전 인프라 기관에 도입돼 운용 중이며, 포인트모바일은 이 제품을 바탕으로 멕시코를 포함한 다수 국가의 방산·재난안전 프로젝트를 수주하는 등 글로벌 시장에서 사업을 확대하고 있다.
포인트모바일은 이번 전시를 계기로 중동·아프리카 지역을 포함한 e커머스 물류, 리테일 현대화, 공공안전 등 핵심 산업군 중심의 글로벌 시장 확대 전략을 본격화할 계획이다. 현재 전 세계 77개국에 서비스 센터와 196개 대리점 네트워크를 운영 중이며, 이를 기반으로 실시간 기술 지원과 고객 대응 체계를 강화하고 있다.

Meanwhile, one of the flagship models, the PM95, supports 5G-based MCPTT (Mission Critical Push-To-Talk) and features specialized features for disaster safety network environments, including real-time voice communication, emergency calls, location tracking, and live streaming. The product has been deployed and is currently being used by key safety infrastructure organizations, including the police, fire department, and military, in Korea. Based on this product, Point Mobile is expanding its business globally, securing defense and disaster safety projects in numerous countries, including Mexico.
Point Mobile plans to use this exhibition as an opportunity to fully launch its global market expansion strategy, focusing on key industries such as e-commerce logistics, retail modernization, and public safety, including the Middle East and Africa. It currently operates a network of service centers and 196 dealerships in 77 countries worldwide, strengthening its real-time technical support and customer response system.
