한국인공지능·소프트웨어산업협회(KOSA, 회장 조준희)는 10월 15일(현지시간) 미국 뉴욕에서 ‘뉴욕주 민관 초청 세미나‧네트워킹(Soft-Landing in the U.S)’ 행사를 개최하고, 뉴저지 소재 혁신기관들과 4자 간 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 16일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 과학기술정보통신부가 지원하는 ‘AI 이노베이션 액셀러레이터 프로그램(AI Innovation Accelerator Program, 이하 AIIA)’의 일환으로, 한국 인공지능(AI) 스타트업의 미국 동부 시장 진출을 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.
행사에는 뉴욕주경제개발청, 뉴욕시경제개발청, 뉴저지경제개발청 등 미국 내 주요 정부기관과 현지 벤처캐피탈(VC), 스타트업 관계자 등 약 100여 명이 참석했다. 참석자들은 현지 스타트업 정책, 생태계 동향을 공유하고, 한국 기업들과의 협력 가능성에 대해 논의하는 자리를 가졌다.
이 자리에서 KOSA는 뉴저지를 대표하는 기술 혁신기관인 ▲TechUnited:NJ, ▲BetterFutureLabs, ▲Tech Council Ventures와 업무협약을 체결했다. 협약에 따라 △스타트업 네트워킹 및 투자 연계 △인재 및 교육 교류 △공동 프로그램 발굴 등의 협력이 추진될 예정이다. 이를 통해 한국 AI 스타트업이 미국 동부 지역에서 사업화 및 성장을 위한 기반을 마련할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
한편, KOSA는 한인 창업자 단체인 United Korean Founders(UKF)와 협력해, 10월 16일부터 18일까지 뉴욕 브루클린에서 열리는 ‘KOOM 2025: STARTUP Festival’에도 참여한다.
본 행사에는 AIIA 프로그램에 참여한 국내 AI 스타트업 14개사가 전시 부스를 운영하며, 현지 VC 및 스타트업과의 네트워킹 기회를 통해 협업 가능성을 모색한다. 또한, UKF·KOSA·정보통신산업진흥원(NIPA)이 공동 주관하는 AI 컨퍼런스 세션도 마련된다. 해당 세션은 뉴욕대학교 스턴경영대학원 바산트 다르(Vasant Dhar) 교수가 좌장을 맡고, 한국 스타트업 누비랩 김대훈 대표와 엑소시스템즈 이후만 대표가 연사로 참여해 글로벌 사회적 가치 창출 사례와 미국 내 협력 방안 등을 소개할 예정이다.
KOSA 조준희 회장은 “이번 미국 현지 기관과의 파트너십 체결 및 교류는 국내 AI 스타트업의 미국 시장 진출을 실질적으로 뒷받침하는 계기”라며, “앞으로도 현지 주요 기관과의 연계를 지속 확대해 국내 AI 기업의 글로벌 성장 기반을 강화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Korea Artificial Intelligence and Software Industry Association hosted a public-private partnership seminar and networking event in New York.
The Korea Artificial Intelligence & Software Industry Association (KOSA, Chairman Cho Jun-hee) announced on the 16th that it held the 'New York State Public-Private Invitational Seminar and Networking (Soft-Landing in the US)' event in New York, USA on October 15th (local time) and signed a four-party business agreement (MOU) with innovation organizations located in New Jersey.
This event is part of the 'AI Innovation Accelerator Program (AIIA)' supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT, and was organized to support Korean artificial intelligence (AI) startups' entry into the eastern United States market.
The event was attended by approximately 100 people, including representatives from major U.S. government agencies, including the New York State Economic Development Authority, the New York City Economic Development Authority, and the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, as well as local venture capital (VC) firms and startup representatives. Attendees shared insights into local startup policies and ecosystem trends, and discussed potential collaborations with Korean companies.
At this event, KOSA signed a business agreement with New Jersey's leading technology innovation organizations: TechUnited:NJ, BetterFutureLabs, and Tech Council Ventures. The agreements will promote collaboration across startup networking and investment opportunities, talent and educational exchanges, and joint program development. This is expected to lay the foundation for Korean AI startups to commercialize and grow in the eastern United States.
Meanwhile, KOSA, in collaboration with United Korean Founders (UKF), a Korean entrepreneurship organization, will also participate in the 'KOOM 2025: STARTUP Festival' held in Brooklyn, New York from October 16th to 18th.
At this event, 14 domestic AI startups that participated in the AIIA program will operate exhibition booths and explore collaboration opportunities through networking opportunities with local VCs and startups. Additionally, an AI conference session, co-hosted by UKF, KOSA, and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), will be held. Professor Vasant Dhar of New York University's Stern School of Business will serve as moderator, and speakers including Kim Dae-hoon, CEO of Nubilab, and Lee Hu-man, CEO of Exosystems, will present examples of global social value creation and collaboration strategies in the United States.
KOSA Chairman Cho Jun-hee said, “This partnership and exchange with a local U.S. organization is an opportunity to substantially support the entry of domestic AI startups into the U.S. market,” and added, “We will continue to expand our ties with key local organizations to strengthen the foundation for the global growth of domestic AI companies.”

韓国人工知能・ソフトウェア産業協会（ＫＯＳＡ、会長チョ・ジュンヒ）は１０月１５日（現地時間）、米国ニューヨークで「ニューヨーク州民館招待セミナー・ネットワーキング（Soft-Landing in the US）」行事を開催し、ニュージャージー素材革新機関らと４者間の業務協約（ＭＯ）。
今回の行事は、科学技術情報通信部が支援する「AIイノベーションアクセラレータプログラム（AI Innovation Accelerator Program、以下AIIA）」の一環で、韓国人工知能（AI）スタートアップの米国東部市場進出を支援するために設けられた。
イベントにはニューヨーク州経済開発庁、ニューヨーク市経済開発庁、ニュージャージー経済開発庁など米国内の主要政府機関と現地ベンチャーキャピタル（VC）、スタートアップ関係者など約100人余りが参加した。参加者は現地のスタートアップ政策、生態系動向を共有し、韓国企業との協力の可能性について議論する席を持った。
この場で、KOSAはニュージャージーを代表する技術革新機関である▲TechUnited:NJ、▲BetterFutureLabs、▲Tech Council Venturesと業務協約を締結した。条約により△スタートアップネットワーキング及び投資連携△人材及び教育交流△共同プログラム発掘などの協力が推進される予定だ。これにより韓国ＡＩスタートアップが米国東部地域で事業化及び成長のための基盤を設けることができると期待される。

韩国人工智能与软件产业协会（KOSA，会长赵俊熙）于16日宣布，已于10月15日（当地时间）在美国纽约举办了“纽约州公私合作邀请研讨会暨交流会（美国软着陆）”活动，并与位于新泽西州的创新机构签署了四方商业协议（谅解备忘录）。

L'Association coréenne de l'industrie de l'intelligence artificielle et des logiciels (KOSA, président Cho Jun-hee) a annoncé le 16 qu'elle avait organisé le « Séminaire et réseautage public-privé sur invitation de l'État de New York (atterrissage en douceur aux États-Unis) » à New York, aux États-Unis, le 15 octobre (heure locale) et signé un accord commercial quadripartite (protocole d'entente) avec des organisations d'innovation situées dans le New Jersey.
Cet événement s'inscrit dans le cadre du « Programme d'accélération de l'innovation en IA (AIIA) » soutenu par le ministère des Sciences et des TIC, et a été organisé pour soutenir l'entrée des startups coréennes en intelligence artificielle (IA) sur le marché de l'est des États-Unis.
L'événement a réuni une centaine de personnes, dont des représentants d'importantes agences gouvernementales américaines, notamment l'Autorité de développement économique de l'État de New York, l'Autorité de développement économique de la ville de New York et l'Autorité de développement économique du New Jersey, ainsi que des sociétés de capital-risque locales et des représentants de jeunes entreprises. Les participants ont partagé leurs points de vue sur les politiques locales en matière de startups et les tendances de l'écosystème, et ont discuté de collaborations potentielles avec des entreprises coréennes.
Lors de cet événement, KOSA a signé un accord commercial avec les principales organisations d'innovation technologique du New Jersey : TechUnited:NJ, BetterFutureLabs et Tech Council Ventures.
