디지털 취약계층을 위한 솔루션을 개발하는 스타트업 루트파인더즈가 ‘2025 G스타 오디션’ 예비초기리그 결선 무대에서 최우수상(경기도경제과학진흥원장상)을 수상했다고 16일 밝혔다. 또한 방송통신위원회가 주최한 ‘2025 오래오래 지속 가능한 세상, 55초 영상 공모전’에서도 우수상(중소기업기술정보진흥원장상)을 수상하며 기술력과 사회적 가치를 동시에 인정받았다.
‘G스타 오디션’은 국내 최대 콘텐츠 박람회인 G-STAR 2025의 공식 스타트업 경진 프로그램으로, 혁신적인 기술력과 사업성을 갖춘 예비·초기 창업기업을 발굴하기 위해 매년 개최되고 있다.
루트파인더즈는 이번 결선 무대에서 시각장애인 전용 스마트 포털 플랫폼 ‘EasyPlus(이지플러스)’를 선보였다. 이 플랫폼은 뉴스, 게임, 커머스 등 다양한 콘텐츠를 통합 제공하며, 개발 초기 단계부터 디지털 취약계층을 위한 맞춤형 설계가 적용됐다. 특히, AI 기반의 ‘Noiseless 기술’을 통해 불필요한 광고와 팝업을 자동으로 필터링함으로써, 시각장애인이 복잡한 온라인 환경에서도 원하는 콘텐츠에 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 지원한다.
심사위원단은 EasyPlus가 지닌 미디어 접근성 향상 효과와 글로벌 시장 진출 가능성을 높게 평가하며, 디지털 약자를 위한 실질적인 기술 지원 사례로 주목했다.
또한 루트파인더즈는 방송통신위원회가 주최한 ‘2025 오래오래 지속 가능한 세상, 55초 영상 공모전’에도 참가해, ‘번영과 협력’을 주제로 제작한 영상을 출품했다. 해당 영상은 EasyPlus를 사용하는 시각장애인의 1인칭 시선을 중심으로 기업의 철학과 사회적 메시지를 전달해 우수상을 수상했다.

Rootfinders Wins Grand Prize in the Preliminary League of the 2025 G-Star Auditions
Rootfinders, a startup developing solutions for the digitally vulnerable, announced on the 16th that it won the grand prize (Gyeonggi Province Economic and Science Promotion Agency President's Award) in the preliminary league final stage of the '2025 G-Star Audition'. It also received recognition for both its technological prowess and social value by winning the excellence award (SME Technology Information Promotion Agency President's Award) in the '2025 Long-Term Sustainable World, 55-Second Video Contest' hosted by the Korea Communications Commission.
'G-STAR Audition' is the official startup competition program of G-STAR 2025, Korea's largest content fair, and is held annually to discover promising and early-stage startups with innovative technologies and business potential.
At the finals, Rootfinders presented "EasyPlus," a smart portal platform exclusively for the visually impaired. This platform integrates a variety of content, including news, games, and commerce, and was designed from the outset to cater to the digitally vulnerable. Notably, its AI-based "Noiseless Technology" automatically filters out unnecessary ads and pop-ups, enabling the visually impaired to easily access their desired content even in complex online environments.
The judges highly praised EasyPlus for its effectiveness in improving media accessibility and its potential to enter the global market, and noted it as a practical example of technological support for the digitally disadvantaged.
Rootfinders also participated in the "2025 Sustainable World 55-Second Video Contest," hosted by the Korea Communications Commission, submitting a video on the theme of "Prosperity and Cooperation." The video won an Excellence Award for conveying the company's philosophy and social message through the first-person perspective of a visually impaired person using EasyPlus.

Rootfinders, une start-up développant des solutions pour les personnes vulnérables numériquement, a annoncé le 16 octobre avoir remporté le grand prix (Prix du Président de l'Agence de promotion économique et scientifique de la province du Gyeonggi) lors de la phase finale préliminaire de l'« Audition G-Star 2025 ». Elle a également été reconnue pour ses prouesses technologiques et sa valeur sociale en remportant le prix d'excellence (Prix du Président de l'Agence de promotion de l'information technologique des PME) lors du « Concours vidéo de 55 secondes pour un monde durable à long terme 2025 », organisé par la Commission coréenne des communications.
