한국인공지능·소프트웨어산업협회(KOSA, 회장 조준희)는 10월 28일 서울 송파구 협회 본원에서 한국과학기술지주(KST, 대표 최치호), 케이그라운드벤처스(KGV, 대표 조남훈)와 ‘AI 스타트업 생태계 활성화를 위한 상호협력 업무협약(MOU)’을 체결했다.
이번 협약은 AI와 다양한 산업·기술 분야를 융합하는 AI+X 시대를 맞아, 세 기관의 핵심 역량을 결합해 혁신 기술 스타트업의 발굴, 투자, 성장, 글로벌 진출까지 전 주기를 지원하는 협력 플랫폼을 구축하는 것을 목표로 한다.
KOSA는 AI·SW 기업 네트워크를 기반으로 산업계의 기술 수요를 파악하고 정책 지원과 연계하며, KST는 정부출연연구기관의 우수 원천기술을 발굴해 산업 현장에 적용될 수 있도록 사업화를 지원한다. KGV는 딥테크 사업화와 지식재산(IP) 수익화에 특화된 벤처캐피털로서 민간 자본 유치와 스타트업 성장 지원 역할을 수행한다.
조준희 KOSA 회장은 “산업계와 출연연의 기술, 민간 투자사의 역량을 하나로 모으는 것은 대한민국 AI 스타트업 생태계 도약에 필수적”이라며 “잠재력 있는 AI 스타트업이 글로벌 유니콘으로 성장할 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
최치호 KST 대표는 “공공 연구기관의 기술 가치를 시장에서 창출하기 위해 KOSA와 KGV의 전문성이 필요하다”며 “이번 협약을 통해 공공기술 사업화의 성공률을 높이는 새로운 AI-X 모델이 만들어질 것”이라고 설명했다.
조남훈 KGV 대표는 “딥테크 스타트업의 성공에는 기술력, 글로벌 IP뿐 아니라 시장과의 연결과 단계별 자본 투자가 필요하다”며 “KST와 KGV의 공공기술 사업화 역량과 KOSA의 산업 네트워크를 기반으로 AC, VC, PE까지 참여하는 투자협의체를 구성할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

The Korea Artificial Intelligence and Software Industry Association signed a three-party business agreement with Korea Science and Technology Holdings and K-Ground Ventures.
On October 28 , the Korea Artificial Intelligence & Software Industry Association (KOSA, Chairman Cho Jun-hee) signed a ‘Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Mutual Cooperation to Activate the AI Startup Ecosystem’ with Korea Science and Technology Holdings (KST, CEO Choi Chi-ho) and K-Ground Ventures (KGV, CEO Cho Nam-hoon) at the association’s headquarters in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
This agreement aims to build a collaborative platform that supports the entire cycle of innovative technology startups, from discovery and investment to growth and global expansion, by combining the core capabilities of the three organizations in the AI+X era, which is merging AI with various industrial and technological fields.
KOSA leverages its network of AI and software companies to identify technological needs in the industry and connect them with policy support. KST discovers excellent source technologies from government-funded research institutes and supports their commercialization for industrial application. KGV, a venture capital firm specializing in deep tech commercialization and intellectual property (IP) monetization, attracts private capital and supports startup growth.
KOSA Chairman Cho Jun-hee said, “Bringing together the technologies of industry, research institutes, and private investors is essential for the advancement of the Korean AI startup ecosystem,” adding, “We will spare no effort in providing support to help promising AI startups grow into global unicorns.”
Choi Chi-ho, CEO of KST, said, “The expertise of KOSA and KGV is necessary to create technological value for public research institutes in the market,” and explained, “Through this agreement, a new AI-X model will be created that will increase the success rate of public technology commercialization.”
Namhoon Cho, CEO of KGV, said, “The success of deep tech startups requires not only technological prowess and global IP, but also market connections and step-by-step capital investment.” He added, “Based on KST and KGV’s public technology commercialization capabilities and KOSA’s industrial network, we plan to form an investment council with participation from AC, VC, and PE.”

チョ・ジュニKOSA会長は「産業界と出演演の技術、民間投資会社の力量を一つに集めることは大韓民国AIスタートアップ生態系跳躍に必須」とし「潜在力のあるAIスタートアップがグローバルユニコーンに成長できるように支援を惜しまない」と話した。
チェ・チホKST代表は「公共研究機関の技術価値を市場で創出するためにKOSAとKGVの専門性が必要だ」とし「今回の条約を通じて公共技術事業化の成功率を高める新しいAI-Xモデルが作られるだろう」と説明した。
チョナムフンKGV代表は「ディープテックスタートアップの成功には技術力、グローバルIPだけでなく市場との接続と段階的資本投資が必要だ」とし「KSTとKGVの公共技術事業化力量とKOSAの産業ネットワークを基盤にAC、VC、PEまで参加する投資協議体を構成する計画」と明らかにした。

Le 28 octobre , la Korea Artificial Intelligence & Software Industry Association (KOSA, président Cho Jun-hee) a signé un « mémorandum d’entente (MOU) pour une coopération mutuelle visant à activer l’écosystème des startups d’IA » avec Korea Science and Technology Holdings (KST, PDG Choi Chi-ho) et K-Ground Ventures (KGV, PDG Cho Nam-hoon) au siège de l’association à Songpa-gu, Séoul.
Cet accord vise à construire une plateforme collaborative qui soutienne l'ensemble du cycle de vie des startups technologiques innovantes, de la découverte et de l'investissement à la croissance et à l'expansion mondiale, en combinant les compétences clés des trois organisations à l'ère de l'IA+X, qui fusionne l'IA avec divers domaines industriels et technologiques.
KOSA s'appuie sur son réseau d'entreprises d'IA et de logiciels pour identifier les besoins technologiques du secteur et les mettre en relation avec les instances de soutien politique. KST repère les technologies de pointe issues des instituts de recherche financés par l'État et accompagne leur commercialisation en vue d'applications industrielles. KGV, société de capital-risque spécialisée dans la commercialisation de technologies de pointe et la valorisation de la propriété intellectuelle, attire des capitaux privés et soutient la croissance des jeunes entreprises.
Le président de KOSA, Cho Jun-hee, a déclaré : « La mise en commun des technologies de l'industrie, des instituts de recherche et des investisseurs privés est essentielle au développement de l'écosystème coréen des startups en IA », ajoutant : « Nous ne ménagerons aucun effort pour apporter notre soutien aux startups prometteuses en IA afin qu'elles deviennent des licornes mondiales. »
Choi Chi-ho, PDG de KST, a déclaré : « L'expertise de KOSA et de KGV est nécessaire pour créer de la valeur technologique pour les instituts de recherche publics sur le marché », et a expliqué : « Grâce à cet accord, un nouveau modèle AI-X sera créé qui augmentera le taux de réussite de la commercialisation des technologies publiques. »
Namhoon Cho, PDG de KGV, a déclaré : « Le succès des startups deep tech repose non seulement sur une expertise technologique et une propriété intellectuelle mondiale, mais aussi sur des relations commerciales solides et des investissements de capitaux progressifs. » Il a ajouté : « Forts des capacités de commercialisation technologique de KST et KGV et du réseau industriel de KOSA, nous prévoyons de créer un conseil d’investissement regroupant des sociétés d’investissement, de capital-risque et de capital-investissement. »
