대한적십자사 서울특별시지사(회장 권영규)는 대한적십자사 창립 120주년을 맞아 31일 서울 강남구 삼성동 코엑스 오디토리움에서 열린 창립기념식에서 김영식 여성봉사특별자문위원이 인도주의 봉사와 사회공헌 활동 공로로 대통령 표창을 수상했다고 밝혔다.
김영식 위원은 LG그룹 선대회장 故 구본무 회장의 부인으로, 2001년 대한적십자사 서울지사 여성봉사특별자문위원회에 참여한 이후 25년간 헌신적인 봉사와 기부 활동을 이어왔다. 개인 누적 기부액은 1억 원에 달하며, 2019년부터 대한적십자사 서울지사와 LG생활건강이 공동으로 진행하는 학교폭력 예방 교육 및 폭력피해자 맞춤형 지원 사업 ‘더불U 캠페인’에도 참여해 기여했다.
김 위원은 2013년 여성봉사특별자문위원회 위원장을 맡았으며, 2021년부터 2025년까지 서울지사 부회장으로 활동하며 위원회의 발전과 봉사활동 확산에 힘써왔다. 이러한 지속적인 참여와 기여가 이번 대통령 표창 수상의 배경이 됐다.
권영규 회장은 “김영식 위원님의 지속적인 기부와 봉사는 적십자 인도주의 정신을 몸소 실천한 사례”라며, “이번 표창은 김 위원뿐만 아니라 함께 참여한 많은 봉사자와 시민에게도 큰 격려가 될 것”이라고 말했다.
김영식 위원은 “이번 표창은 개인의 노력이 아니라 함께 봉사한 모든 적십자 가족과 시민 덕분”이라며, “앞으로도 도움이 필요한 곳이라면 언제든 참여하겠다”고 소감을 전했다.

Kim Young-sik, Special Advisor to Women's Volunteer Services at the Seoul Branch of the Korean Red Cross, Receives Presidential Citation
The Seoul Branch of the Korean Red Cross (Chairman Kwon Young-kyu) announced that Kim Young-sik, a special advisory committee member for women's service, received the Presidential Citation for her humanitarian service and social contribution activities at the founding ceremony held at the COEX Auditorium in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 31st to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the founding of the Korean Red Cross.
Commissioner Kim Young-sik, wife of the late Koo Bon-moo, former chairman of LG Group, has dedicated 25 years to volunteering and donating since joining the Women's Volunteer Special Advisory Committee of the Seoul Branch of the Korean Red Cross in 2001. Her cumulative individual donations have reached 100 million won, and she has also contributed to the "Together U Campaign," a school violence prevention education and customized support program for victims of violence jointly conducted by the Seoul Branch of the Korean Red Cross and LG Household & Health Care since 2019.
Commissioner Kim served as Chairperson of the Special Advisory Committee on Women's Volunteer Services in 2013 and, as Vice Chairperson of the Seoul Branch from 2021 to 2025, has been dedicated to the development of the committee and the expansion of volunteer activities. This continued participation and contribution is what led to her receiving this Presidential Citation.
Chairman Kwon Young-gyu said, “Chairman Kim Young-sik’s continuous donations and volunteer work are examples of the Red Cross’ humanitarian spirit in action,” and added, “This award will be a great encouragement not only to Chairman Kim, but also to the many volunteers and citizens who participated.”
Commissioner Kim Young-sik said, “This award is not due to my personal efforts, but to all the Red Cross family members and citizens who served with me,” and added, “I will continue to participate in any place that needs help.”

大韓赤十字社ソウル特別市知事（会長クォン・ヨンギュ）は、大韓赤十字社創立１２０周年を迎え、３１日、ソウル江南区三成洞（サムソンドン）ＣＯＥＸオーディトリアムで開かれた創立記念式で、キム・ヨンシク女性奉仕特別諮問委員が人道主義奉仕と社会貢献活動功労で表彰した。
キム・ヨンシク委員はLGグループ先代会長故グボン本務会長の奥さんで、2001年大韓赤十字社ソウル知事女性奉仕特別諮問委員会に参加した以後25年間献身的な奉仕と寄付活動を続けてきた。個人累積寄付額は1億ウォンに達し、2019年から大韓赤十字社ソウル知事とLG生活健康が共同で進行する学校暴力予防教育および暴力被害者カスタマイズ支援事業「ダブルUキャンペーン」にも参加して貢献した。
金委員は2013年女性奉仕特別諮問委員会委員長を務め、2021年から2025年までソウル知事副会長として活動し、委員会の発展と奉仕活動の拡散に取り組んできた。こうした持続的な参加と貢献が今回の大統領表彰受賞の背景となった。
クォン・ヨンギュ会長は「キム・ヨンシク委員様の持続的な寄付と奉仕は赤十字人道主義精神を身体実践した事例」とし、「今回の表彰は金委員だけでなく一緒に参加した多くの奉仕者と市民にも大きな励ましになるだろう」と話した。
キム・ヨンシク委員は「今回の表彰は個人の努力ではなく一緒に奉仕したすべての赤十字家族と市民のおかげ」とし、「今後も助けが必要な場所ならいつでも参加する」と所感を伝えた。

韩国红十字会首尔分会（会长权永奎）宣布，妇女服务特别顾问委员会成员金英植在31日于首尔江南区三成洞COEX礼堂举行的韩国红十字会成立120周年纪念仪式上，因其人道主义服务和社会贡献活动，荣获总统嘉奖。
金英植委员是已故LG集团前会长具本武的遗孀，自2001年加入韩国红十字会首尔分会妇女志愿者特别咨询委员会以来，已投身志愿服务和捐赠长达25年。她的个人累计捐款已达1亿韩元，并且自2019年起，她还参与了由韩国红十字会首尔分会和LG生活健康公司联合开展的“携手同行”活动，该活动旨在开展校园暴力预防教育，并为暴力受害者提供个性化支持。
金委员于2013年担任妇女志愿服务特别咨询委员会主席，并于2021年至2025年担任首尔分会副主席，一直致力于委员会的发展和志愿活动的拓展。正是她持续的参与和贡献，使她荣获了总统嘉奖。
权永圭会长表示：“金永植会长持续不断的捐款和志愿服务，正是红十字会人道主义精神的体现。”他还补充道：“这项奖项不仅对金会长，而且对参与其中的众多志愿者和市民来说，都是莫大的鼓励。”
金永植委员表示：“这项荣誉并非归功于我个人的努力，而是归功于所有与我一起服务的红十字会成员和市民。”他还补充道：“我将继续在任何需要帮助的地方提供帮助。”

La branche de Séoul de la Croix-Rouge coréenne (président Kwon Young-kyu) a annoncé que Kim Young-sik, membre du comité consultatif spécial pour le service aux femmes, a reçu la Citation présidentielle pour son service humanitaire et ses activités de contribution sociale lors de la cérémonie de fondation qui s'est tenue à l'auditorium COEX à Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Séoul, le 31, pour commémorer le 120e anniversaire de la fondation de la Croix-Rouge coréenne.
La commissaire Kim Young-sik, épouse de feu Koo Bon-moo, ancien président du groupe LG, consacre depuis 25 ans son temps au bénévolat et aux dons depuis son adhésion au Comité consultatif spécial des femmes bénévoles de la branche de Séoul de la Croix-Rouge coréenne en 2001. Ses dons individuels cumulés ont atteint 100 millions de wons, et elle contribue également à la campagne « Together U », un programme d'éducation à la prévention de la violence scolaire et de soutien personnalisé aux victimes de violence, mené conjointement par la branche de Séoul de la Croix-Rouge coréenne et LG Household & Health Care depuis 2019.
La commissaire Kim a présidé le Comité consultatif spécial sur le bénévolat féminin en 2013 et, en tant que vice-présidente de la section de Séoul de 2021 à 2025, elle s'est consacrée au développement du comité et à l'expansion des activités de bénévolat. Son engagement et sa contribution constants lui ont valu cette distinction présidentielle.
Le président Kwon Young-gyu a déclaré : « Les dons constants et le travail bénévole du président Kim Young-sik sont des exemples de l’esprit humanitaire de la Croix-Rouge en action », et a ajouté : « Ce prix sera un grand encouragement non seulement pour le président Kim, mais aussi pour les nombreux bénévoles et citoyens qui ont participé. »
La commissaire Kim Young-sik a déclaré : « Ce prix n'est pas dû à mes efforts personnels, mais à tous les membres de la famille de la Croix-Rouge et aux citoyens qui ont servi avec moi », et a ajouté : « Je continuerai à participer partout où l'aide est nécessaire. »
