친환경 자원순환 기업 ㈜천일에너지(대표 박상원)는 11월 3일 네이버와 업무협약을 맺고, 네이버 1784 사옥에서 발생하는 커피박을 자원화하는 ESG 협력을 추진한다고 밝혔다.
협약식에는 천일에너지 박상원 대표와 네이버 I&S 이동현 리더 등이 참석해 생활 속 폐기물을 재활용 자원으로 되살리고 ESG 실천 문화를 확산시키는 데 뜻을 모았다.
천일에너지는 자회사 지구하다를 통해 매달 네이버 1784에서 발생하는 커피박을 무상으로 수거하고, 이를 자사 인프라를 활용해 바이오 연료 및 친환경 소재로 업사이클링할 계획이다. 기존에 일반 폐기물로 처리되던 커피박이 온실가스 저감형 자원으로 전환되는 셈이다.
커피박은 소각 시 1톤당 약 338kg의 온실가스를 배출하지만, 자원화 과정을 거치면 친환경 바이오 연료나 생분해성 소재로 재활용할 수 있다. 천일에너지는 올해 1월부터 9월까지 총 1,870톤의 커피박을 처리해 약 632톤의 탄소 배출을 절감했으며, 이는 30년생 소나무 약 9만 6천 그루가 1년간 흡수하는 탄소량과 맞먹는다.
박상원 천일에너지 대표는 “대한민국 대표 기술기업과 자원순환 협력을 추진하게 되어 의미가 크다”며 “커피박을 시작으로 일상 속 폐기물을 가치 있는 자원으로 되돌려 순환경제 확산에 앞장서겠다”고 밝혔다.
네이버 I&S 및 네이버핸즈 노세관 대표는 “커피 한 잔의 작은 실천이 기업 문화와 도시 생태계로 확산될 수 있다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 파트너와 함께 지속 가능한 ESG 활동을 확대하겠다”고 말했다.

Cheonil Energy Signs Business Agreement with Naver
Cheonil Energy Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Sang-won) , an eco-friendly resource recycling company, announced on November 3 that it signed a business agreement with Naver and will pursue ESG cooperation to recycle coffee grounds generated at Naver's 1784 building.
At the signing ceremony, CEO Park Sang-won of Cheonil Energy and Naver I&S leader Lee Dong-hyeon attended and shared their commitment to reclaiming waste from everyday life as recyclable resources and spreading a culture of ESG practice.
Cheonil Energy, through its subsidiary Jiguhada, plans to collect coffee grounds generated by Naver 1784 free of charge every month and utilize its infrastructure to upcycle them into biofuel and eco-friendly materials. This means coffee grounds, previously treated as general waste, will be converted into a resource that reduces greenhouse gases.
Coffee grounds emit approximately 338 kg of greenhouse gases per ton when incinerated, but can be recycled into eco-friendly biofuels or biodegradable materials through recycling processes. From January to September of this year, Cheonil Energy processed a total of 1,870 tons of coffee grounds, reducing carbon emissions by approximately 632 tons. This amount is equivalent to the amount of carbon absorbed by approximately 96,000 30-year-old pine trees in a year.
Park Sang-won, CEO of Cheonil Energy, said, “It is very meaningful to be promoting resource recycling cooperation with a leading technology company in Korea,” and added, “Starting with coffee grounds, we will take the lead in expanding the circular economy by turning everyday waste into valuable resources.”
Naver I&S and Naver Hands CEO Noh Se-gwan said, “A small act of a cup of coffee can spread throughout corporate culture and the urban ecosystem,” and added, “We will continue to expand sustainable ESG activities with various partners.”

環境にやさしい資源循環企業(株)天日エネルギー(代表パク・サンウォン)は11月3日ネイバーと業務協約を結び、ネイバー1784社屋で発生するコーヒー箔を資源化するESG協力を推進すると明らかにした。
協約式には、天日エネルギーパク・サンウォン代表とネイバーI&Sイ・ドンヒョンリーダーらが参加し、生活の中の廃棄物をリサイクル資源に復活させ、ESG実践文化を拡散させることを意図した。
天日エネルギーは、子会社地球ハダを通じて毎月ネイバー1784で発生するコーヒー箔を無償で収集し、これを自社インフラを活用してバイオ燃料および環境にやさしい素材にアップサイクリングする計画だ。従来、一般廃棄物として処理されていたコーヒー箔が温室効果ガス削減型資源に転換されるわけだ。
コーヒー箔は焼却時に1トンあたり約338kgの温室効果ガスを排出するが、資源化過程を経れば環境にやさしいバイオ燃料や生分解性素材としてリサイクルできる。天日エネルギーは今年1月から9月までに合計1,870トンのコーヒー箔を処理して約632トンの炭素排出を削減し、これは30年生まれの松約9万6千本が1年間吸収する炭素量と合わせる。
パク・サンウォン天日エネルギー代表は「大韓民国代表技術企業と資源循環協力を推進することになって意味が大きい」とし「コーヒー箔をはじめ、日常の廃棄物を価値ある資源に戻して循環経済の拡散に取り組む」と明らかにした。
ネイバーI&Sおよびネイバーハンズ老税館代表は「コーヒー一杯の小さな実践が企業文化と都市エコシステムに拡散することができる」とし「今後も多様なパートナーと共に持続可能なESG活動を拡大する」と話した。

天一能源与Naver签署商业协议
环保资源回收公司天一能源有限公司（CEO朴相元）于11月3日宣布，已与Naver签署商业协议，将开展ESG合作，回收Naver 1784大楼产生的咖啡渣。
在签约仪式上，天一能源首席执行官朴相元和Naver I&S领导人李东贤出席并分享了他们致力于将日常生活中的废弃物回收利用为可回收资源并传播ESG实践文化的承诺。
天一能源公司（Cheonil Energy）将通过其子公司Jiguhada，每月免费收集Naver 1784产生的咖啡渣，并利用其基础设施将其升级再造为生物燃料和环保材料。这意味着，以往被视为一般垃圾的咖啡渣将被转化为一种能够减少温室气体排放的资源。
咖啡渣焚烧时每吨会排放约338公斤温室气体，但可以通过回收利用转化为环保生物燃料或可生物降解材料。今年1月至9月，天一能源公司共处理了1870吨咖啡渣，减少了约632吨碳排放。这一减排量相当于约9.6万棵树龄30年的松树一年的碳吸收量。
天一能源公司首席执行官朴相元表示：“与韩国领先的科技公司共同推进资源回收利用合作意义重大。”他还补充道：“我们将从咖啡渣入手，通过将日常垃圾转化为宝贵资源，引领循环经济的扩张。”
Naver I&S 和 Naver Hands 的首席执行官卢世冠表示：“一杯咖啡的小小举动可以传播到企业文化和城市生态系统中。”他还补充道：“我们将继续与各合作伙伴扩大可持续的 ESG 活动。”

Cheonil Energy signe un accord commercial avec Naver
Cheonil Energy Co., Ltd. (PDG Park Sang-won) , une entreprise de recyclage de ressources respectueuse de l'environnement, a annoncé le 3 novembre avoir signé un accord commercial avec Naver et poursuivre une coopération ESG pour recycler le marc de café généré dans le bâtiment 1784 de Naver.
Lors de la cérémonie de signature, le PDG de Cheonil Energy, Park Sang-won, et le responsable de Naver I&S, Lee Dong-hyeon, étaient présents et ont réaffirmé leur engagement à récupérer les déchets de la vie quotidienne en ressources recyclables et à diffuser une culture des pratiques ESG.
Cheonil Energy, par l'intermédiaire de sa filiale Jiguhada, prévoit de collecter gratuitement chaque mois le marc de café produit par Naver 1784 et d'utiliser son infrastructure pour le valoriser en biocarburant et en matériaux écologiques. Ainsi, le marc de café, auparavant considéré comme un déchet, sera transformé en une ressource contribuant à la réduction des gaz à effet de serre.
L'incinération du marc de café émet environ 338 kg de gaz à effet de serre par tonne, mais celui-ci peut être recyclé en biocarburants écologiques ou en matériaux biodégradables. De janvier à septembre de cette année, Cheonil Energy a traité 1 870 tonnes de marc de café, réduisant ainsi ses émissions de carbone d'environ 632 tonnes. Cette quantité équivaut à la quantité de carbone absorbée par environ 96 000 pins de 30 ans en un an.
Park Sang-won, PDG de Cheonil Energy, a déclaré : « Il est très important pour nous de promouvoir la coopération en matière de recyclage des ressources avec une entreprise technologique de pointe en Corée », et a ajouté : « En commençant par le marc de café, nous prendrons l'initiative de développer l'économie circulaire en transformant les déchets du quotidien en ressources précieuses. »
Noh Se-gwan, PDG de Naver I&S et Naver Hands, a déclaré : « Un simple geste comme celui d'offrir une tasse de café peut se propager dans toute la culture d'entreprise et l'écosystème urbain », et a ajouté : « Nous continuerons à développer des activités ESG durables avec divers partenaires. »
