웨어러블 로봇 글로벌 기업 위로보틱스(WIRobotics, 공동대표 이연백·김용재)가 미국 라스베이거스에서 열린 CES 2026에서 ‘디지털 헬스(Digital Health)’ 부문 혁신상(Innovation Awards)을 수상했다고 6일 밝혔다. 이번 수상으로 위로보틱스는 2024년부터 3년 연속 CES 혁신상을 받았다.
이번 수상 제품은 성장기 아동을 위한 보행 보조 웨어러블 로봇 ‘WIM KIDS’다. WIM KIDS는 성장에 따라 다리 길이에 맞춰 3단계로 교체 가능한 모듈형 프레임 시스템을 적용해 4세부터 15세까지 사용할 수 있으며, 무게는 1kg 이하다. 초경량 구조와 AI 기반 개인 맞춤 보행 알고리즘을 적용해 아동의 자연스러운 움직임을 지원하도록 설계됐다.
위로보틱스 이연백 대표는 “WIM KIDS는 아동의 성장 데이터를 기반으로 설계되고 AI 보행 제어 알고리즘을 적용해 최적화된 보조를 제공하는 제품”이라며 “이번 수상을 계기로 다양한 생활·작업 환경에서 활용 가능한 웨어러블 로봇 개발을 지속하겠다”고 말했다.

Werobotics Wins CES 2026 Digital Health Innovation Award
WIRobotics (Co-CEOs Yeonbaek Lee and Yongjae Kim), a global wearable robot company, announced on the 6th that it won an Innovation Award in the 'Digital Health' category at CES 2026 held in Las Vegas, USA. With this award, WIRobotics has received a CES Innovation Award for three consecutive years since 2024.
This award-winning product is the "WIM KIDS," a wearable robot that assists walking in growing children. Featuring a modular frame system that can be adjusted in three stages to accommodate different leg lengths, WIM KIDS can be used by children ages 4 to 15, and weighs less than 1kg. Its ultra-lightweight construction and AI-based personalized walking algorithm are designed to support children's natural movements.

Ce produit primé, « WIM KIDS », est un robot portable qui assiste les enfants dans leur apprentissage de la marche.
