인공지능(AI) 데이터 및 솔루션 전문 기업 플리토(대표 이정수)는 지난 9일부터 11일까지 3일간 서울 삼성동 그랜드 인터컨티넨탈 파르나스에서 열린 대한성형외과학회 주관 ‘PRS KOREA 2025’에서 실시간 AI 동시통역 솔루션을 제공했다고 12일 밝혔다.
‘PRS KOREA’는 성형외과 분야의 국제 학술 행사로, 한국과 아시아를 비롯해 전 세계 성형외과 의사 및 의료 관계자들이 참여해 최신 연구 성과와 임상 지견을 공유하는 자리다. 올해는 대한성형외과학회를 비롯해 대한두개안면성형외과학회 및 관련 연구회들이 함께 참여해 다양한 임상 경험과 연구 결과를 발표했다.
플리토는 이번 행사의 통번역 파트너로서 AI 동시통역 솔루션 ‘라이브 트랜스레이션(Live Translation)’을 제공했다. 플리토는 성형외과 분야에 특화된 의학 용어 학습을 기반으로 전문 용어 번역의 정확성을 높였으며, 별도의 랜딩 페이지 제작을 통해 번역 접근성을 개선하고, 번역 자막을 병렬 배치했다.
청중은 메인 스크린을 통해 한국어와 영어 번역을 실시간으로 확인했으며, 발표 공간마다 비치된 QR코드를 스캔해 최대 42개 언어로 번역 결과를 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 기존 학회에서는 주요 세션에 한정됐던 AI 통역 범위를 모든 세션으로 확장해, 참석자 전원이 언어 장벽 없이 참여할 수 있는 환경을 구축했다.
플리토는 안티에이징학회, 한일성형학회, 대한미용레이저성형학회 등 다양한 의료 학술 행사에서 전문 용어와 수술 관련 표현을 정확하게 번역한 경험을 바탕으로, 의료 분야 맞춤형 AI 통번역 엔진을 고도화하고 있다. 향후에도 높은 전문성을 요구하는 분야에서 정밀한 의미 전달이 가능한 AI 솔루션 개발에 집중할 계획이다.
또한, 이번 행사 프로그램 중 ‘AI Leaders’ Insights: Shaping the Future’ 세션에서 이정수 플리토 대표는 ‘Hyper-Personalization in AI’를 주제로 발표를 진행했다. 그는 초개인화 언어 데이터 기술을 기반으로 전문 분야에서도 맥락과 의미를 정밀하게 전달하는 AI 통번역의 발전 방향을 제시했다.

Pluto to Provide AI Simultaneous Interpreting Solution at PRS Korea 2025
Plitto (CEO Lee Jeong-su) , an artificial intelligence (AI) data and solution company, announced on the 12th that it provided a real-time AI simultaneous interpretation solution at 'PRS KOREA 2025' hosted by the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, held for three days from the 9th to the 11th at the Grand InterContinental Parnas in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
"PRS KOREA" is an international academic event in the field of plastic surgery. Plastic surgeons and medical professionals from Korea, Asia, and around the world participate, sharing the latest research findings and clinical insights. As the event's interpretation and translation partner, Pluto provided its AI simultaneous interpretation solution, "Live Translation." Based on specialized medical terminology learned in the field of plastic surgery, Pluto enhanced the accuracy of its translations. Furthermore, it improved translation accessibility by creating a separate landing page and placing translated subtitles in parallel.
The audience viewed real-time Korean and English translations on the main screen, and could scan QR codes placed in each presentation space to view translations in up to 42 languages. Notably, AI interpretation, previously limited to key sessions at previous conferences, was expanded to all sessions, creating an environment where all attendees could participate without language barriers.
Based on its experience accurately translating technical terminology and surgical expressions at various medical academic events, including the Anti-Aging Society, the Korea-Japan Society of Plastic Surgery, and the Korean Society of Aesthetic Laser Surgery, Pluto is developing a customized AI translation engine for the medical field. Going forward, Pluto plans to focus on developing AI solutions capable of precisely conveying meaning in fields requiring a high level of expertise.
Additionally, during the "AI Leaders' Insights: Shaping the Future" session of the event, Lee Jeong-su, CEO of Pluto, presented on the topic of "Hyper-Personalization in AI." Based on hyper-personalized language data technology, he proposed the future direction of AI interpretation and translation, which precisely conveys context and meaning even in specialized fields.

Plitto (PDG Lee Jeong-su) , une société de données et de solutions d'intelligence artificielle (IA), a annoncé le 12 qu'elle avait fourni une solution d'interprétation simultanée IA en temps réel lors de « PRS KOREA 2025 », organisé par la Société coréenne des chirurgiens plasticiens et reconstructeurs, qui s'est tenu pendant trois jours, du 9 au 11, au Grand InterContinental Parnas à Samseong-dong, Séoul.
« PRS KOREA » est un événement académique international dédié à la chirurgie plastique. Des chirurgiens plasticiens et des professionnels de santé de Corée, d'Asie et du monde entier y participent et partagent leurs dernières découvertes et observations cliniques. Cette année, des représentants de la Société coréenne de chirurgie plastique et reconstructive, de la Société coréenne de chirurgie craniofaciale et d'autres sociétés de recherche apparentées ont présenté leurs expériences cliniques et leurs résultats de recherche.
En tant que partenaire d'interprétation et de traduction de l'événement, Pluto a fourni sa solution d'interprétation simultanée par intelligence artificielle, « Live Translation ». Grâce à une terminologie médicale spécialisée acquise dans le domaine de la chirurgie plastique, Pluto a optimisé la précision de ses traductions.
