코아시아세미와 독일 이노바(Inova Semiconductors GmbH)는 지난 17일 차량 실내 고급 조명 핵심 부품인 ISELED(Integrated Smart Embedded LED) 웨이퍼 제조 라이선스 계약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
ISELED는 차량 내부 조명 시스템에 적용되는 기술로, LED 모듈 내 삼원색(RGB)을 정밀하게 제어해 균일한 색감을 구현한다. 그동안 주로 유럽 완성차 브랜드에 채택되었으나 최근 한국과 중국 등 아시아 주요 완성차 업체에서도 도입이 확대되고 있다.
이번 계약으로 이노바는 글로벌 완성차 시장을 위한 ISELED 공급망을 안정적으로 확보하고, 코아시아세미를 통한 파운드리 공급망 확장 및 아시아 지역 고객 대응력을 강화할 계획이다. 코아시아세미는 라이선스를 기반으로 LED 컨트롤러 제품을 자체 생산할 수 있는 독립성을 확보하며, 모회사 코아시아의 LED 사업부 이츠웰과 연계해 웨이퍼–패키징–LED 모듈 공급으로 이어지는 수직계열화 체계를 구축했다.
또한 코아시아세미는 ISELED 기술을 스마트조명, 마이크로LED, 인테리어 일체형 디스플레이 등 차세대 차량용 반도체 분야로 확장할 계획이다.
이노바 로버트 아이슬레 사장은 “ISELED 기술 공유는 업계 표준화를 위한 핵심 단계”라며 “이번 협력으로 글로벌 고객을 위한 견고한 공급망을 강화할 것”이라고 말했다.
코아시아세미 신동수 대표는 “이번 라이선스 체결은 그룹 내 수직계열화를 통해 ISELED 벨류체인 전반에서 시너지를 입증한 사례”라며 “앞으로 국내 차량용 반도체 산업에서 경쟁력을 높이고 포트폴리오를 확대하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Coasia Semiconductor and Germany's Inova Semiconductors GmbH announced on the 17th that they have signed a licensing agreement for the manufacturing of ISELED (Integrated Smart Embedded LED) wafers, a key component of advanced automotive interior lighting.
ISELED is a technology applied to vehicle interior lighting systems. It precisely controls the three primary colors (RGB) within LED modules to achieve uniform color reproduction. While primarily adopted by European automakers, its adoption is expanding to major Asian automakers, including those in Korea and China.
With this agreement, Innova plans to secure a stable ISELED supply chain for the global automotive market, expand its foundry supply chain through Coasia Semi, and strengthen its ability to respond to customers in the Asian region. Coasia Semi will secure the independence to produce LED controller products based on the license, and, in conjunction with its parent company, Coasia's LED division, Itswell, will establish a vertically integrated system encompassing wafer, packaging, and LED module supply.
Additionally, Coasia Semiconductor plans to expand its ISELED technology into next-generation automotive semiconductor fields such as smart lighting, microLED, and interior integrated displays.
“Sharing ISELED technology is a key step toward industry standardization,” said Robert Eisley, President of Inova. “This collaboration will strengthen our robust supply chain for our global customers.”

コシアセミとドイツのイノヴァ（Inova Semiconductors GmbH）は、去る17日、車室内高級照明の核心部品であるISELED（Integrated Smart Embedded LED）ウェーハ製造ライセンス契約を締結したと明らかにした。
ISELEDは車両内部照明システムに適用される技術で、LEDモジュール内の三原色（RGB）を精密に制御して均一な色味を実現する。これまで主に欧州完成車ブランドに採択されたが、最近韓国や中国などアジア主要完成車メーカーでも導入が拡大している。
今回の契約で、イノバはグローバル完成車市場のためのISELEDサプライチェーンを安定的に確保し、コアシアセミを通じたファウンドリサプライチェーン拡張およびアジア地域の顧客対応力を強化する計画だ。コアシアセミはライセンスを基盤にLEDコントローラ製品を自社生産できる独立性を確保し、親会社のコアアジアのLED事業部イーツウェルと連携してウエハ-パッケージング-LEDモジュール供給につながる垂直系化システムを構築した。
また、コアシアセミはISELED技術をスマート照明、マイクロLED、インテリア一体型ディスプレイなど次世代車両用半導体分野に拡張する計画だ。

Coasia Semiconductor et l'allemand Inova Semiconductors GmbH ont annoncé le 17 avoir signé un accord de licence pour la fabrication de plaquettes ISELED (Integrated Smart Embedded LED), un composant clé de l'éclairage intérieur automobile avancé.
ISELED est une technologie appliquée aux systèmes d'éclairage intérieur des véhicules. Elle contrôle avec précision les trois couleurs primaires (RVB) au sein des modules LED afin d'obtenir une reproduction des couleurs uniforme. Bien qu'elle soit principalement utilisée par les constructeurs automobiles européens, son adoption s'étend désormais aux principaux constructeurs asiatiques, notamment en Corée et en Chine.
Grâce à cet accord, Innova entend sécuriser une chaîne d'approvisionnement stable en LED intégrées pour le marché automobile mondial, développer sa chaîne d'approvisionnement en fonderie via Coasia Semi et renforcer sa capacité à répondre aux besoins de ses clients en Asie. Coasia Semi bénéficiera de l'autonomie nécessaire pour produire des contrôleurs de LED sous licence et, en collaboration avec sa maison mère, Itswell, sa division LED, mettra en place un système verticalement intégré couvrant la production de plaquettes, le conditionnement et la fourniture de modules LED.
Par ailleurs, Coasia Semiconductor prévoit d'étendre sa technologie ISELED aux domaines des semi-conducteurs automobiles de nouvelle génération tels que l'éclairage intelligent, les microLED et les écrans intégrés intérieurs.
« Le partage de la technologie ISELED est une étape clé vers la normalisation du secteur », a déclaré Robert Eisley, président d'Inova. « Cette collaboration renforcera notre chaîne d'approvisionnement performante pour nos clients du monde entier. »
