모빌리티 에어로테크 기업 ㈜에이드로(대표 윤승현)가 총 100억 원 규모의 시리즈 B 투자유치를 완료했다고 18일 밝혔다. 이번 라운드에는 스톤브릿지벤처스, 케이투인베스트먼트, 본엔젤스벤처파트너스, 한국투자파트너스, 브릿지인베스트먼트 등이 참여했다. 투자금은 신규 제품 개발, 해외 사업 확장, AI 기반 공기역학 디자인 솔루션(AOX) 개발 등에 사용될 예정이다.
에이드로는 2020년 설립된 에어로다이나믹 전문 기업으로, 테슬라, BMW, 도요타, 포르쉐 등 12개 브랜드 대상으로 230여 종 바디킷을 개발·판매하며, 공기저항 감소와 다운포스 증가를 통해 전기차 전비 효율 향상에도 기여하고 있다.
에이드로는 AI 기반 공기역학 시뮬레이션 솔루션 ‘AOX(Aerodynamic Optimization eXperience)’를 개발 중이다. AOX는 기존 전산유체역학(CFD) 기술 대비 수십 배 빠른 시뮬레이션 속도와 코딩 없이 디자이너가 직접 활용 가능한 환경을 제공하며, 차량 형상 변경에 따른 결과를 수십 분 내 확인할 수 있다.
윤승현 대표는 “자동차 산업의 경쟁력은 에너지 효율과 디자인에 있다”며 “AOX를 통해 이동수단 산업의 새로운 솔루션을 제시하고, 하드웨어와 소프트웨어를 결합한 새로운 이동수단(New Vehicle) 비전을 구현할 것”이라고 말했다.
