딥서치(대표 김재윤)가 M&A 거래의 핵심 과제인 자금 조달 해결을 위해 투자 전문 기관과 협력한다.
딥서치는 지난 1일 투자 전문 회사 카스피안캐피탈(공동대표 이승현·남동우)과 ‘유망 M&A 거래 발굴 및 성공적인 투자 연계를 위한 업무협약(MOU)’을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 이번 협약은 딥서치 플랫폼을 통해 M&A를 추진하는 기업에 전문 투자 펀드를 연계해 자금 부족으로 인한 거래 무산을 방지하고 시장 활성화를 목표로 한다.
협약에 따라 딥서치는 플랫폼에 등록된 매물 중 자금 조달이 필요한 유망 기업을 발굴하고, M&A 의사가 확인된 기업 정보를 카스피안캐피탈에 추천한다. 카스피안캐피탈은 추천 기업을 우선적으로 검토하며, 투자 적격 시 신속한 심의를 거쳐 자금을 집행해 거래 성사 가능성을 높일 계획이다.
딥서치는 이번 제휴가 최근 주력하고 있는 ‘인수창업(ETA)’ 생태계 확장에 기여할 것으로 전망한다. 기술과 역량을 갖춘 예비 창업가가 기존 기업을 인수할 때 가장 큰 걸림돌인 자금 문제를 해결해 혁신적 기업 재도약을 지원하는 역할을 한다.
양사는 향후 M&A 시장 상황에 따라 공동 목적 달성을 위해 M&A 전용 펀드 조성, 시장 동향 및 산업 정보 공유 등 긴밀한 협력 관계를 이어가기로 합의했다.
김재윤 딥서치 대표는 “중소형 M&A 시장에서 정보 비대칭 문제는 데이터 기술로 해결했지만, 우수한 매수자가 자금 문제로 인수를 포기하는 사례가 있었다”며 “카스피안캐피탈과의 협력은 데이터와 자본을 연결해 인수창업가들이 자금 걱정 없이 경영 혁신에 도전할 수 있는 환경을 만들 것”이라고 밝혔다.

DeepSearch announced on the 1st that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with investment firm Caspian Capital (Co-CEOs Seunghyun Lee and Dongwoo Nam) to identify promising M&A deals and facilitate successful investment. This agreement aims to prevent deal failures due to lack of funding and revitalize the market by connecting companies pursuing M&A through the DeepSearch platform with specialized investment funds.
Under the agreement, DeepSearch will identify promising companies in need of financing among listings on its platform and recommend companies with confirmed M&A intent to Caspian Capital. Caspian Capital will prioritize review of recommended companies and, if eligible for investment, expedite the review process to execute funds, thereby increasing the likelihood of a successful deal.
DeepSearch anticipates that this partnership will contribute to the expansion of the "Embedded Startup (ETA)" ecosystem, a key area of focus for the company. It will address the funding barrier, a major obstacle for aspiring entrepreneurs equipped with the technology and capabilities to acquire existing companies, thereby supporting the innovative companies' resurgence.
The two companies agreed to continue close cooperation, including establishing a dedicated M&A fund and sharing market trends and industry information, to achieve common goals depending on future M&A market conditions.

DeepSearch a annoncé le 1er la signature d'un protocole d'accord avec la société d'investissement Caspian Capital (co-PDG Seunghyun Lee et Dongwoo Nam) afin d'identifier des opérations de fusions-acquisitions prometteuses et de faciliter les investissements. Cet accord vise à prévenir les échecs d'opérations faute de financement et à dynamiser le marché en mettant en relation les entreprises réalisant des fusions-acquisitions via la plateforme DeepSearch avec des fonds d'investissement spécialisés.
Aux termes de cet accord, DeepSearch identifiera parmi les entreprises prometteuses cotées sur sa plateforme celles qui ont besoin de financement et recommandera à Caspian Capital celles qui ont confirmé leur intention de fusion-acquisition. Caspian Capital examinera en priorité les entreprises recommandées et, si elles sont éligibles à l'investissement, accélérera le processus d'examen afin de débloquer les fonds, augmentant ainsi les chances de succès de l'opération.
DeepSearch prévoit que ce partenariat contribuera à l'expansion de l'écosystème « Embedded Startup (ETA) », un axe stratégique majeur pour l'entreprise.
