인공지능(AI) 데이터 및 솔루션 전문 기업 플리토(대표 이정수)는 4일 삼성동 코엑스에서 열린 ‘제62회 무역의 날’ 기념식에서 ‘700만불 수출의 탑’을 수상했다고 밝혔다.
한국무역협회는 매년 해외 시장 개척과 수출 증대에 기여한 기업을 선정해 수출의 탑을 수여하며, 1백만 달러 이상 수출 기업이 기존 수출 기록을 갱신할 때 자격이 주어진다. 플리토는 지난해 500만불 수출의 탑 수상에 이어 올해 700만불을 기록하며 글로벌 AI 시장에서 꾸준한 성장세를 이어가고 있다.
플리토의 데이터 사업 부문은 자체 플랫폼을 기반으로 고품질 AI 학습용 데이터를 글로벌 빅테크 기업에 공급하며 수출 실적을 확대했다. 뛰어난 기술 경쟁력을 바탕으로 업계 내 유일하게 흑자 구조를 유지하고 있어 안정적 수출 성장의 핵심 동력으로 평가된다.
AI 통번역 솔루션 사업도 수출 확대에 기여했다. 동시통역 솔루션 ‘라이브 트랜스레이션(Live Translation)’은 구글, 메타, AWS 등 200여 글로벌 행사에 도입됐으며, 대화형 통번역 솔루션 ‘챗 트랜스레이션 엔터프라이즈(Chat Translation Enterprise)’는 서울역과 인천공항 등에서 연간 1만 건 이상의 글로벌 소통을 지원하고 있다. 또한 APEC 고위관리회의에도 도입됐다.
플리토는 이번 700만불 수출의 탑 수상을 계기로 R&D 투자를 확대해 AI 언어 데이터 품질을 고도화하고, 초개인화 기술을 적용한 B2C 통번역 솔루션의 글로벌 행사 확대를 추진할 계획이다. 이를 통해 데이터 사업과 AI 솔루션 사업의 수출 다변화를 적극 추진하며, 내년에는 더 높은 단계의 수출의 탑 달성을 목표로 하고 있다.

Pluto Wins $7 Million Export Tower Award at the 62nd Trade Day
Pluto (CEO Lee Jeong-su), an artificial intelligence (AI) data and solution company, announced on the 4th that it received the '7 Million Dollar Export Tower' award at the '62nd Trade Day' ceremony held at COEX in Samseong-dong.
The Korea International Trade Association annually awards the Export Tower Award to companies that have contributed to overseas market development and export growth. Eligibility is granted to companies with exports exceeding $1 million that break their previous export records. Following last year's $5 million Export Tower Award, Pluto has achieved $7 million in exports this year, demonstrating steady growth in the global AI market.
Pluto's data business division has expanded its export performance by supplying high-quality AI training data to global big tech companies based on its proprietary platform. Based on its outstanding technological competitiveness, Pluto is the only company in the industry to maintain a profitable structure, and is considered a key driver of stable export growth.
AI translation and interpretation solutions have also contributed to export growth. The simultaneous interpretation solution, "Live Translation," has been deployed at over 200 global events, including those hosted by Google, Meta, and AWS. The interactive translation and interpretation solution, "Chat Translation Enterprise," supports over 10,000 global communications annually at venues like Seoul Station and Incheon International Airport. It was also deployed at the APEC Senior Officials' Meeting.
Taking advantage of this $7 million export tower award, Pluto plans to expand its R&D investments to enhance the quality of its AI language data and expand its global presence for its B2C interpretation and translation solutions, which utilize hyper-personalized technology. Through these efforts, Pluto will actively pursue export diversification across its data and AI solutions businesses, aiming to achieve even greater export heights next year.

Pluto (PDG Lee Jeong-su), une société de données et de solutions d'intelligence artificielle (IA), a annoncé le 4 avoir reçu le prix « Tour d'exportation de 7 millions de dollars » lors de la cérémonie du « 62e jour du commerce » qui s'est tenue au COEX à Samseong-dong.
L'Association coréenne du commerce international décerne chaque année le prix Export Tower aux entreprises ayant contribué au développement des marchés étrangers et à la croissance des exportations. Ce prix est réservé aux entreprises dont les exportations dépassent 1 million de dollars et qui ont battu leurs précédents records. Après avoir remporté le prix Export Tower l'an dernier pour un montant de 5 millions de dollars, Pluto a atteint 7 millions de dollars d'exportations cette année, témoignant d'une croissance soutenue sur le marché mondial de l'IA.
La division données de Pluto a renforcé ses performances à l'export en fournissant des données d'entraînement pour l'IA de haute qualité aux géants de la tech internationaux grâce à sa plateforme propriétaire. Forte de son exceptionnelle compétitivité technologique, Pluto est la seule entreprise du secteur à maintenir une structure rentable et joue un rôle clé dans la croissance stable de ses exportations.
Les solutions de traduction et d'interprétation par intelligence artificielle ont également contribué à la croissance des exportations.
