재단법인 경기창조경제혁신센터(대표이사 김원경, 이하 경기혁신센터)는 ‘2025 벤처창업 진흥 유공’ 시상에서 벤처창업 민간 생태계 조성 부문 중소벤처기업부 장관상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.
‘벤처창업 진흥 유공’은 국내 창업 생태계 조성에 기여한 기관·기업·개인을 선정해 매년 중소벤처기업부가 시상하는 정부포상으로, 올해 시상식은 지난 11월 27일 경기창조경제혁신센터에서 진행됐다.
경기혁신센터는 지난 10년간 누적 1,513개 스타트업을 발굴·보육하며 국내 창업 생태계 활성화에 중요한 역할을 해왔다. 특히 딥테크 기반 창업기업 육성, 지역 창업저변 확대, 글로벌 진출 프로그램 강화 성과를 통해 이번 수상 기관으로 선정됐다.
센터는 공공·민간·글로벌을 연결하는 다층적 창업지원 모델을 구축해 왔다. TIPS 운영사 및 한국모태펀드 운용사로서 기술 기반 스타트업의 성장을 지원하고, 공공기술사업화 모태펀드를 포함한 다양한 펀드를 결성해 초기기업의 투자 기반을 강화했다.
또한 전국 창조경제혁신센터의 글로벌 전략 허브 역할을 수행하며 실질적인 글로벌 스케일업 성과도 창출했다. 올해에는 Volvo, Radial, Unilever 등 6개 글로벌 기업과 오픈이노베이션을 추진해 107개 보육기업을 연계하고, Radial PoC 2건과 Unilever LOI 2건 등 사업화 성과를 확보했다.
해외 VC와의 공동투자(Club Deal)는 2024년 29억 원에서 2025년 31억 원으로 확대됐으며, K-Startup Grand Challenge를 통해 국내에 정착한 해외 스타트업에 총 83.7억 원의 후속 투자를 연계하는 등 글로벌 인·아웃바운드 투자 성과도 강화됐다.
판교 창업존 운영, 경기도형 오픈이노베이션, 기후테크 육성사업 등 지역 기반 프로그램을 통해 R&D·사업화·글로벌 진출로 이어지는 전 주기 지원 체계를 고도화했다. 2024년에는 42개사에 투자하며 액셀러레이터 투자 실적 전국 7위를 기록했으며, TOP 10 중 유일하게 창조경제혁신센터가 이름을 올렸다. 지난해 120개 기업의 총 4,762억 원 투자유치를 지원하는 성과도 달성했다.
또한 모태펀드 창업초기 소형 분야 선정으로 약 62억 원 규모의 신규 펀드 결성을 앞두고 있어 향후 투자 성과 확대가 기대된다. 기업당 평균 투자유치 금액은 39억 원, 100억 원 이상 투자유치 기업은 12개사로 전년 대비 51% 증가했다.
경기혁신센터 관계자는 “딥테크 스타트업 발굴부터 글로벌 진출까지 실질적 성과 중심의 체계를 구축한 것이 이번 수상의 기반”이라며 “대한민국 창업 생태계의 성장 허브로서 혁신 프로그램을 강화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CEO Won-kyung Kim, hereinafter referred to as the Gyeonggi Innovation Center) announced that it received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award in the category of fostering a private venture startup ecosystem at the '2025 Venture Startup Promotion Merit' ceremony.
The 'Venture Startup Promotion Merit' is a government award presented annually by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to organizations, companies, and individuals who have contributed to the creation of the domestic startup ecosystem. This year's award ceremony was held on November 27th at the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center.
The Gyeonggi Innovation Center has played a crucial role in revitalizing the domestic startup ecosystem, discovering and nurturing a cumulative 1,513 startups over the past decade. It was selected for this award for its efforts to foster deep-tech startups, expand the local startup base, and strengthen global expansion programs.
The Center has established a multi-layered startup support model that connects the public, private, and global sectors. As the operator of TIPS and the Korea Mother Fund, it supports the growth of technology-based startups and has established various funds, including the Public Technology Commercialization Mother Fund, to strengthen the investment base for early-stage companies.
Furthermore, serving as the global strategic hub for the National Creative Economy Innovation Center, the center has also achieved tangible global scale-up results. This year, it pursued open innovation with six global companies, including Volvo, Radial, and Unilever, connecting 107 incubation companies and securing commercialization results, including two Radial PoCs and two Unilever LOIs.
Joint investments (Club Deals) with overseas VCs expanded from KRW 2.9 billion in 2024 to KRW 3.1 billion in 2025, and global inbound and outbound investment performance was also strengthened, including linking a total of KRW 8.37 billion in follow-up investments to overseas startups that have established themselves in Korea through the K-Startup Grand Challenge.
Through regional programs such as the Pangyo Startup Zone, Gyeonggi-do Open Innovation, and the Climate Tech Incubation Project, the city has enhanced its full-cycle support system, encompassing R&D, commercialization, and global expansion. In 2024, the city invested in 42 companies, ranking 7th nationwide in accelerator investment performance, with the Creative Economy Innovation Center being the only one among the top 10. Last year, the city also achieved significant results, supporting 120 companies with a total investment of KRW 476.2 billion.
Furthermore, with the establishment of a new fund of approximately KRW 6.2 billion, selected for the early stage of the mother fund's small-scale sector, future investment performance is expected to expand. The average investment amount per company reached KRW 3.9 billion, and the number of companies attracting over KRW 10 billion in investment reached 12, a 51% increase year-on-year.
An official from the Gyeonggi Innovation Center said, “The foundation of this award is the establishment of a system centered on practical results, from the discovery of deep-tech startups to their global expansion,” and added, “We will continue to strengthen our innovation program as a growth hub for the Korean startup ecosystem.”

京畿革新センターは過去10年間、累積1,513のスタートアップを発掘・保育し、国内創業生態系の活性化に重要な役割を果たしてきた。特にディープテックベースの創業企業育成、地域創業底辺拡大、グローバル進出プログラム強化成果を通じて今回の受賞機関に選ばれた。
センターは公共・民間・グローバルを結ぶ多層的創業支援モデルを構築してきた。 TIPS運営会社および韓国モテファンド運用会社として技術基盤スタートアップの成長を支援し、公共技術事業化モテファンドを含む多様なファンドを結成し、初期企業の投資基盤を強化した。
また、全国創造経済革新センターのグローバル戦略ハブの役割を果たし、実質的なグローバルスケールアップ成果も創出した。今年はVolvo、Radial、Unileverなど6社のグローバル企業とオープンイノベーションを推進し、107社の保育企業を連携し、Radial PoC 2件とUnilever LOI 2件など事業化成果を確保した。

また、モテファンド創業初期の小型分野に選定され、約62億ウォン規模の新規ファンドの結成を控えており、今後の投資成果の拡大が期待される。企業当たりの平均投資誘致金額は３９億ウォン、１００億ウォン以上投資誘致企業は１２社で前年比５１％増加した。
京畿革新センター関係者は「ディープテックスタートアップ発掘からグローバル進出まで実質実績中心の体系を構築したのが今回の受賞の基盤」とし「大韓民国創業生態系の成長ハブとして革新プログラムを強化していく」と話した。

Le Centre d'innovation de Gyeonggi a reçu le prix du ministre des PME et des startups pour sa contribution à la promotion des jeunes entreprises innovantes en 2025.
Le Centre Gyeonggi pour l'économie créative et l'innovation (PDG Won-kyung Kim, ci-après dénommé le Centre d'innovation de Gyeonggi) a annoncé avoir reçu le prix du ministre des PME et des startups dans la catégorie de la promotion d'un écosystème de startups privées lors de la cérémonie « Mérite pour la promotion des startups 2025 ».
Le prix « Venture Startup Promotion Merit » est une distinction gouvernementale décernée chaque année par le ministère des PME et des Startups aux organisations, entreprises et personnes ayant contribué à la création de l'écosystème des startups en Corée du Sud. La cérémonie de remise des prix de cette année s'est tenue le 27 novembre au Centre d'innovation de l'économie créative de Gyeonggi.
Le Centre d'innovation de Gyeonggi a joué un rôle crucial dans la revitalisation de l'écosystème des startups chinoises, en découvrant et en accompagnant pas moins de 1 513 startups au cours de la dernière décennie. Il a été récompensé pour ses efforts visant à favoriser l'émergence de startups deep tech, à développer le vivier de startups locales et à renforcer ses programmes d'expansion internationale.
Le Centre a mis en place un modèle de soutien aux startups à plusieurs niveaux, reliant les secteurs public, privé et international. En tant qu'opérateur de TIPS et du Korea Mother Fund, il soutient la croissance des startups technologiques et a créé divers fonds, dont le Fonds public de commercialisation des technologies (Public Technology Commercialization Mother Fund), afin de renforcer les sources d'investissement pour les entreprises en phase d'amorçage.
En outre, en tant que plateforme stratégique mondiale du Centre national d'innovation pour l'économie créative, le centre a également obtenu des résultats concrets en matière de déploiement à l'échelle internationale. Cette année, il a mené des initiatives d'innovation ouverte avec six entreprises internationales, dont Volvo, Radial et Unilever, connectant ainsi 107 entreprises incubées et obtenant des résultats concrets en matière de commercialisation, notamment deux preuves de concept pour Radial et deux lettres d'intention pour Unilever.

Le montant moyen des investissements par entreprise a atteint 3,9 milliards de wons, et le nombre d'entreprises ayant attiré plus de 10 milliards de wons d'investissement s'élève désormais à 12, soit une hausse de 51 % sur un an.
Un responsable du Centre d'innovation de Gyeonggi a déclaré : « Ce prix repose sur la mise en place d'un système axé sur des résultats concrets, depuis la découverte de startups deep-tech jusqu'à leur expansion mondiale », et a ajouté : « Nous continuerons à renforcer notre programme d'innovation en tant que pôle de croissance pour l'écosystème des startups coréennes. »
