AI 기반 시각장애인 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 서비스 ‘EasyPlus(이지플러스)’를 개발하는 루트파인더즈가 구글플레이 ‘창구 프로그램 7기’ 참여를 마무리했다고 8일 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램 내 AI 교육 과정인 ‘창구 AI 스터디잼’에서 루트파인더즈는 참가 기업 중 최다 인원이 과정을 완주하며 우수 참가 기업상을 수상했다. 또한 소속 개발자가 개인 부문 우수 참여상도 획득하며 의미 있는 성과를 올렸다.
‘창구 프로그램’은 중소벤처기업부와 창업진흥원, 구글플레이가 협력해 스타트업 육성을 지원하는 프로그램으로, 선정 기업에 사업화 지원과 AI 교육을 제공한다. 루트파인더즈는 온·오프라인 교육에 꾸준히 참여하며 조직 전체의 학습 및 실행 역량을 인정받았다.
EasyPlus는 뉴스, 게임 등 스마트폰 콘텐츠를 시각장애인 환경에 맞춰 재구성하는 전용 스마트 포털 플랫폼이다. 화면 내 복잡한 메뉴와 광고를 제거하고 핵심 정보만 제공하는 Noiseless 기술과 이미지 캡셔닝 기술을 적용해 시각장애인이 주변 도움 없이 스마트폰을 사용할 수 있도록 지원한다.
이번 창구 프로그램 참여를 통해 루트파인더즈는 EasyPlus의 AI 파이프라인과 향후 기능 고도화 전략을 체계적으로 정리했다. 김종국 대표는 “팀과 개인이 자발적으로 참여해 얻은 성과로, EasyPlus의 AI 역량을 한 단계 더 발전시킬 수 있는 계기가 됐다”며 “향후 디지털 소외계층의 미디어 접근성을 높이는 기술로 확장해 나갈 것”이라고 말했다.

Rootfinders , the developer of 'EasyPlus', an AI-based multimedia content service for the visually impaired, announced on the 8th that it has completed its participation in the 7th Google Play 'Window Program'.
In this program's AI training course, "Changgu AI Study Jam," Rootfinders received the Outstanding Participation Award for having the largest number of participants complete the course. Furthermore, a developer from the company also won an Outstanding Participation Award in the individual category, achieving significant results.
The "Changgu Program" is a collaborative initiative between the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Korea Institute of Startups and Entrepreneurship Development, and Google Play to support startup development. Selected companies are provided with commercialization support and AI training. Rootfinders has consistently participated in online and offline training programs, earning recognition for its organization-wide learning and implementation capabilities.
EasyPlus is a dedicated smart portal platform that reconfigures smartphone content, including news and games, to suit the needs of the visually impaired. By eliminating complex on-screen menus and ads and presenting only essential information, EasyPlus utilizes noiseless and image captioning technologies to enable visually impaired users to use their smartphones without assistance.
Through participation in this window program, Rootfinders systematically organized EasyPlus' AI pipeline and future functional enhancement strategy. CEO Kim Jong-guk stated, "The voluntary participation of teams and individuals has provided an opportunity to further develop EasyPlus' AI capabilities. AIベースの視覚障害者マルチメディアコンテンツサービス「EasyPlus（イージープラス）」を開発するルートファインダーズが、グーグルプレイ「ウィンドウプログラム7期」参加を終えたと8日明らかにした。

Rootfinders , le développeur d'« EasyPlus », un service de contenu multimédia basé sur l'IA pour les personnes malvoyantes, a annoncé le 8 avoir terminé sa participation au 7e programme « Windows » de Google Play.
Dans le cadre du programme de formation en intelligence artificielle « Changgu AI Study Jam », Rootfinders a reçu le prix de la meilleure participation pour avoir enregistré le plus grand nombre de participants ayant suivi la formation jusqu'au bout.
