키뮤스튜디오(대표 남장원)가 가이아벤처파트너스(GAIA Venture Partners LLC)로부터 Pre A 투자를 유치했다고 밝혔다. 투자 금액은 비공개이다.
키뮤스튜디오는 이번 투자를 통해 발달장애 디자이너 대상 교육 프로그램을 강화하고, 아트워크와 콘텐츠 IP 개발, 글로벌 전시 및 유통 파트너십 확대 등 핵심 사업 기반을 강화할 계획이다. 또한 기업 간 ESG 협업 프로젝트를 확대해 발달장애 디자이너의 창작물이 산업 현장과 연결될 수 있도록 기회를 넓힐 예정이다.
키뮤스튜디오는 예술적 재능을 가진 발달장애인 아티스트를 발굴해 교육하고, 이들의 작품을 전시·콘텐츠 형태로 소개하며 디자이너로 성장할 수 있도록 지원해왔다. 더불어 삼성전자, 한국조폐공사, 국민카드, 아모레퍼시픽, 한국건강관리협회, 티머니복지재단 등 다양한 기업과 ESG 분야에서 협업하며 전시 디자인, 캐릭터 디자인, 상품 및 패키지 디자인 등 지속 가능한 비즈니스 모델을 구축해왔다.
또한 기업의 장애인 고용을 지원하는 키뮤 브릿지 프로그램을 통해 채용 계약, 컨설팅, 교육, 디자인, IP 기반 사후 서비스까지 제공하는 종합 솔루션을 운영하고 있다. 이를 통해 참여 디자이너들은 실제 산업 현장에서 창작 경험을 쌓고 일자리 기회를 확보할 수 있다.
