위로보틱스(WIRobotics, 공동대표 이연백·김용재)는 오는 2026년 1월 4일 미국 라스베이거스에서 열리는 CES 2026 Unveiled 행사에서 보행보조 웨어러블 로봇 ‘WIM S’ 실착 체험 프로그램을 선보인다고 밝혔다.
CES Unveiled는 글로벌 미디어와 업계 관계자가 CES 본 행사에 앞서 핵심 기술을 확인하는 공식 프리뷰 행사다. 위로보틱스는 2025년 한국에서 출시된 WIM S를 행사장에서 직접 착용해 체험할 수 있는 방식으로 소개하며, 향상된 착용감과 보조력 반응성을 강조한다.
WIM 시리즈는 2024년부터 2026년까지 3년 연속 CES 혁신상을 수상했으며, 시니어, 보행약자, 근로자 등 다양한 사용자층에서 활용되고 있다.
이번 Unveiled에서 공개되는 WIM S는 기존 모델 대비 본체 무게와 부피를 줄여 휴대성과 착용성을 강화했다. 실사용자 의견(VOC)을 반영해 보조력 반응성과 편의성을 개선했으며, ‘에어’, ‘하이킹’, ‘케어’, ‘아쿠아’ 등 4가지 보행 모드를 지원한다.
CES 2026 Unveiled는 1월 4일 오후 4시부터 7시까지 Mandalay Bay Level 2, Shoreline Exhibit Hall에서 개최되며, 위로보틱스는 WIM S 실착 체험을 중심으로 전시를 진행한다. 이후 CES 본 행사에서는 휴머노이드 로봇 ‘ALLEX’를 글로벌 무대에서 처음 공개할 예정이다.
위로보틱스 이연백 공동대표는 “CES Unveiled에서 완전히 새로워진 WIM S와 CES 본 행사에서 공개할 ALLEX는 차세대 로봇 기술의 새로운 패러다임을 제시하는 전환점이 될 것”이라고 말했다.

Werobotics to Participate in CES 2026 Unveiled
WIRobotics (Co-CEOs Yeonbaek Lee and Yongjae Kim) announced that it will present a practical experience program for its walking assistance wearable robot 'WIM S' at the CES 2026 Unveiled event to be held in Las Vegas, USA on January 4, 2026.
CES Unveiled is an official preview event where global media and industry insiders can preview key technologies ahead of the main CES event. Werobotics will showcase the WIM S, launched in Korea in 2025, at the event, allowing participants to experience the device firsthand, highlighting its improved comfort and responsiveness.
The WIM series won the CES Innovation Award for three consecutive years from 2024 to 2026 and is being used by a wide range of users, including seniors, people with mobility issues, and workers.
The WIM S, unveiled at this Unveiled event, reduces body weight and volume compared to the previous model, enhancing portability and wearability. Reflecting actual user feedback (VOC), the device has improved assist response and convenience, and supports four walking modes: "Air," "Hiking," "Care," and "Aqua."
CES 2026 Unveiled will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on January 4th at the Shoreline Exhibit Hall, Level 2, Mandalay Bay. Werobotics will showcase the WIM S wearable experience at the exhibition. Later, at the main CES event, the humanoid robot "ALLEX" will be unveiled for the first time on a global stage.
“The completely new WIM S, which will be unveiled at CES Unveiled, and the ALLEX, which will be unveiled at the main CES event, will be a turning point that presents a new paradigm for next-generation robotics technology,” said Lee Yeon-baek, co-CEO of Werobotics.

CES Unveiled est un événement de présentation officiel où les médias internationaux et les professionnels du secteur peuvent découvrir en avant-première les technologies clés avant le CES. Werobotics y présentera le WIM S, lancé en Corée en 2025, permettant aux participants de tester l'appareil et de mettre en avant son confort et sa réactivité améliorés.
La série WIM a remporté le prix de l'innovation du CES pendant trois années consécutives, de 2024 à 2026, et est utilisée par un large éventail d'utilisateurs, notamment les personnes âgées, les personnes à mobilité réduite et les travailleurs.
Le WIM S, présenté lors de cet événement, est plus léger et plus compact que le modèle précédent, ce qui améliore sa portabilité et son confort d'utilisation.
