인슈어테크 기업 그린리본은 ‘2025 대한민국 ICT 대상’에서 과학기술정보통신부 장관 표창(단체 부문)을 수상했다고 17일 밝혔다.
대한민국 ICT 대상은 과학기술정보통신부가 주최하고 정보통신산업진흥원(NIPA)과 한국정보통신진흥협회(KAIT)가 공동 주관하는 정부 공식 시상 행사로, 국내 ICT 산업 발전과 사회적 기여도가 높은 기업과 기술을 선정해 포상한다.
그린리본은 AI 기반 인슈어테크 서비스 ‘라이프캐치(LifeCatch)’를 통해 보험 가입자가 인지하지 못하거나 청구하지 못했던 보험금 정보를 자동으로 분석해 제공하는 기술력을 인정받았다. 라이프캐치는 보험 데이터와 AI 분석 엔진을 결합해 실손보험뿐 아니라 진단금과 수술비 등 정액형 보험까지 자동 탐지 및 청구 지원 서비스로 확대됐다.
이를 통해 보험 소비자가 겪어온 정보 비대칭 문제를 완화하고 보험금 청구 과정의 복잡성을 줄여 보험 보상 활용 편의성을 개선한 점이 이번 수상의 주요 배경으로 평가됐다.
그린리본에 따르면 라이프캐치는 약 270만 명의 보험 데이터를 기반으로, 고객이 인지 부족이나 절차상의 불편으로 청구하지 못했던 보험금 약 800억 원 규모를 찾아 실제 금융 혜택으로 환원하는 성과를 거뒀다.
그린리본은 이번 수상을 계기로 AI 기반 보험 보상 자동화 기술을 고도화하고, 적용 가능한 보험 보상 영역을 지속적으로 확대해 국내 인슈어테크 산업 발전에 기여할 계획이다.

Green Ribbon Receives Minister of Science and ICT Award at 2025 Korea ICT Awards
Insurtech company Green Ribbon announced on the 17th that it had won the Minister of Science and ICT Award (group category) at the '2025 Republic of Korea ICT Awards'.
The Korea ICT Awards is an official government awards ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and co-hosted by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) and the Korea Association for ICT Promotion (KAIT). It selects and awards companies and technologies that have made significant contributions to the development of the domestic ICT industry and society.
Green Ribbon has been recognized for its AI-based insurtech service, "LifeCatch," which automatically analyzes and provides insurance claim information previously unknown to policyholders or unclaimed. Combining insurance data with an AI analysis engine, LifeCatch has expanded its service to include automatic detection and claim support for not only actual loss insurance but also fixed-amount insurance such as diagnostic and surgical fees.
This award was given for its ability to alleviate the information asymmetry problem faced by insurance consumers, reduce the complexity of the insurance claim process, and improve the convenience of using insurance benefits.
According to Green Ribbon, LifeCatch, based on the insurance data of approximately 2.7 million people, has successfully recovered approximately 80 billion won in insurance benefits that customers had not been able to claim due to lack of awareness or procedural inconvenience, and has converted them into actual financial benefits.
Green Ribbon plans to capitalize on this award by further advancing AI-based insurance claim automation technology and continuously expanding applicable insurance claim areas, thereby contributing to the development of the domestic insurtech industry.

グリーンリボンによると、ライフキャッチは約270万人の保険データに基づいて、顧客が認知不足や手続き上の不便で請求できなかった保険金約800億ウォン規模を探し、実際の金融特典に還元する成果を収めた。
グリーンリボンは今回の受賞をきっかけにAI基盤保険補償自動化技術を高度化し、適用可能な保険補償領域を持続的に拡大して国内インシュアテック産業の発展に寄与する計画だ。

La société d'assurance technologique Green Ribbon a annoncé le 17 qu'elle avait remporté le prix du ministre des Sciences et des TIC (catégorie groupe) lors des « Prix des TIC de la République de Corée 2025 ».
Les Korea ICT Awards sont une cérémonie de remise de prix officielle organisée par le ministère des Sciences et des TIC, en collaboration avec l'Agence nationale de promotion de l'industrie des technologies de l'information (NIPA) et l'Association coréenne pour la promotion des TIC (KAIT). Elle récompense les entreprises et les technologies ayant contribué de manière significative au développement du secteur des TIC et de la société coréenne.
Green Ribbon a été récompensée pour son service d'assurance technologique basé sur l'IA, « LifeCatch », qui analyse et fournit automatiquement des informations sur les sinistres non réclamés ou jusqu'alors inconnus des assurés. Green Ribbon prévoit de tirer profit de ce prix en perfectionnant davantage sa technologie d'automatisation des demandes d'indemnisation basée sur l'IA et en élargissant continuellement les domaines d'application des demandes d'indemnisation, contribuant ainsi au développement du secteur national de l'assurance technologique.
