생성형 AI 스타트업 포티투마루(42Maru, 대표 김동환)가 17일 서울 서초구 플렌티컨벤션에서 열린 ‘2025 KOSA 회원 송년의 밤’ 행사에서 ‘제2회 AI·SW기업 ESG경영대상’ 과학기술정보통신부 장관상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.
‘AI·SW기업 ESG경영 대상’은 국내 소프트웨어 기업의 ESG 경영 현황을 진단하고, 우수한 ESG 경영 실천 기업을 발굴해 산업계 전반에 지속가능한 경영 문화를 확산하기 위해 제정됐다. 이번 평가는 글로벌 공급망 이슈에 대응한 ‘AI·SW기업 특화 ESG 경영 진단’ 결과를 기반으로 진행됐다.
포티투마루는 환경(E), 사회(S), 거버넌스(G) 전 영역에서 업계 기준을 상회하는 평가를 받았으며, 특히 거버넌스 부문에서 우수한 점수를 기록했다. 회사는 AI 윤리 및 신뢰성 확보를 위해 공식적인 AI 윤리 위원회를 설치·운영하고, AI 모델 학습부터 운영 전 과정에 데이터 보안 및 개인정보 보호 체계를 완비했다. 또한 설명 가능한 AI(XAI) 기준을 도입해 AI 판단 결과의 투명성을 확보했다.
사회 부문에서는 전체 직원을 정규직으로 고용해 안정적 일자리를 제공하고, 코로나19 및 연말정산, 종합소득세 등 공공 목적의 무료 QA 챗봇 서비스를 운영하고 있다. 환경 부문에서는 자체 개발 솔루션을 통한 페이퍼리스 오피스 실현과 GPU 기반 AI 솔루션을 경량화한 CPU 기반 모델 제공으로 탄소 배출 저감에 기여하고 있다.
이번 수상으로 포티투마루는 AI 기술 기업으로서 지속가능한 비즈니스 운영과 투명한 의사결정 구조를 갖춘 ESG 경영 우수 사례로 인정받게 됐다.

Generative AI startup 42Maru (CEO Dong-Hwan Kim) announced that it won the Minister of Science and ICT Award at the '2nd AI·SW Company ESG Management Awards' at the '2025 KOSA Member Year-End Party' held at Plenty Convention in Seocho-gu, Seoul on the 17th.
The "AI·SW Company ESG Management Awards" were established to assess the ESG management status of domestic software companies, identify companies with outstanding ESG practices, and promote a culture of sustainable management across the industry. This evaluation was based on the results of the "AI·SW Company Specialized ESG Management Diagnosis," which addressed global supply chain issues.
Forty2Maru received evaluations exceeding industry standards across all areas: Environment (E), Society (S), and Governance (G), achieving particularly high scores in the governance category. To ensure AI ethics and reliability, the company established and operates an official AI Ethics Committee and has established a data security and privacy protection system throughout the entire process, from AI model training to operation. Furthermore, it introduced explainable AI (XAI) standards to ensure transparency in AI judgment results.
In the social sector, we provide stable employment by hiring all employees as full-time employees and operate a free Q&A chatbot service for public purposes, including COVID-19 response, year-end tax settlement, and comprehensive income tax. In the environmental sector, we contribute to reducing carbon emissions by implementing a paperless office through our own developed solutions and providing lightweight CPU-based models of our GPU-based AI solutions.

La startup d'IA générative 42Maru (PDG Dong-Hwan Kim) a annoncé avoir remporté le prix du ministre des Sciences et des TIC lors des « 2e AI·SW Company ESG Management Awards » à l'occasion de la « Fête de fin d'année des membres de KOSA 2025 » qui s'est tenue au Plenty Convention à Seocho-gu, Séoul, le 17.
Les « Prix AI·SW de gestion ESG des entreprises » ont été créés pour évaluer la performance ESG des entreprises de logiciels nationales, identifier celles qui présentent des pratiques ESG exemplaires et promouvoir une culture de gestion durable au sein du secteur. Cette évaluation s'appuie sur les résultats du « Diagnostic spécialisé de gestion ESG des entreprises AI·SW », qui porte sur les enjeux liés à la chaîne d'approvisionnement mondiale.
Forty2Maru a obtenu des évaluations supérieures aux normes du secteur dans tous les domaines : environnement (E), société (S) et gouvernance (G), et notamment d’excellents résultats en matière de gouvernance.
