서울경제진흥원(SBA, 대표이사 김현우)은 CES 전시 둘째 날인 1월 7일 CES 최대 규모 국가관을 중심으로 글로벌 창업생태계 네트워킹 행사인 글로벌 이노베이션 포럼을 개최했다. 본 행사는 CES 최초의 국가별 스타트업 경진대회이자 네트워킹 프로그램으로, 대한민국을 비롯해 대만, 스위스, 이스라엘, 일본, 캐나다, 프랑스 등 7개국이 참여했다.
글로벌 이노베이션 포럼은 세계 최대 기술 전시회인 CES를 계기로 국가 간 창업생태계 연결을 강화하기 위해 기획됐다. 2025년 서울 이노베이션 포럼이라는 이름으로 5개국이 참여한 데 이어, 2026년부터는 참여 국가를 확대하고 프로그램을 강화해 행사명을 글로벌 이노베이션 포럼으로 개편했다. 이번 행사는 각국 국가관을 운영하는 창업지원기관들이 협력해 공동으로 추진했다.
행사는 참가국별로 선발된 스타트업들이 참여하는 IR 피칭 대회로 시작됐다. 각국 스타트업들은 심사위원과 행사 방문객을 대상으로 기술과 사업 모델을 발표했으며, 심사에는 글로벌 미디어 관계자와 벤처캐피털 관계자들이 참여해 투자 매력도와 글로벌 확장 가능성을 중심으로 평가했다.
대회 결과, 그랜드어워드는 한국 서울통합관 소속 퍼스트해빗이 수상했으며, 스케일업상은 대만의 화 테크 인터내셔널, 임팩트상은 캐나다의 큐빅스페이스가 각각 선정됐다. 수상 기업에는 트로피와 함께 상금이 수여됐다. 참가 스타트업들은 이번 행사를 통해 글로벌 투자자와 미디어를 대상으로 기술을 소개하고 해외 시장 진출 기회를 모색할 수 있었다고 평가했다.
이어진 패널 토크에서는 각국 창업지원기관 관계자들이 자국의 창업 지원 정책과 글로벌 창업생태계 주요 이슈를 공유했다. 또한 강화된 네트워킹 세션을 통해 글로벌 벤처캐피털, 미디어, 스타트업, 창업지원기관 관계자들이 교류하며 협력 가능성을 논의했다. 일부 스타트업에는 무대에서 기술을 소개할 수 있는 1분 PR 스피치 기회도 제공됐다.
김현우 서울경제진흥원 대표이사는 글로벌 이노베이션 포럼이 CES에서 국가 간 협력과 글로벌 스타트업 교류를 대표하는 행사로 자리매김하길 기대한다며, 글로벌 창업생태계 주요 주체들이 주목하는 프로그램으로 지속 발전시켜 나가겠다고 밝혔다.

SBA to Host Global Innovation Forum at CES 2026
On January 7th, the second day of CES , the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA, CEO Kim Hyun-woo) hosted the Global Innovation Forum, a global startup ecosystem networking event centered around CES's largest national pavilions. This event, CES's first national startup competition and networking program, saw participation from seven countries: South Korea, Taiwan, Switzerland, Israel, Japan, Canada, and France.
The Global Innovation Forum was conceived to strengthen connections between international startup ecosystems, taking advantage of CES, the world's largest technology exhibition. Following the Seoul Innovation Forum, which began in 2025 with five countries participating, the forum expanded its scope and strengthened its programming, renaming itself the Global Innovation Forum in 2026. This event was jointly organized by startup support organizations operating national pavilions in each country.
The event began with an IR pitching competition featuring startups selected from each participating country. Startups from each country presented their technologies and business models to a panel of judges and event attendees. Global media representatives and venture capitalists participated in the judging, evaluating the startups based on their investment attractiveness and global expansion potential.
As a result of the competition, the Grand Award went to First Habit, affiliated with the Seoul Integrated Center in Korea. The Scale-Up Award went to Hua Tech International from Taiwan, and the Impact Award went to Cubic Space from Canada. The winning companies received trophies and cash prizes. The participating startups evaluated the event as an opportunity to showcase their technologies to global investors and media and explore opportunities to enter overseas markets.
In the panel discussion that followed, representatives from startup support organizations from various countries shared their respective startup support policies and key issues in the global startup ecosystem. Furthermore, enhanced networking sessions allowed global venture capitalists, media, startups, and startup support organizations to connect and discuss potential collaborations. Some startups were also given the opportunity to present their technologies on stage, giving one-minute PR speeches.
Kim Hyun-woo, CEO of the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency, said he hopes the Global Innovation Forum will establish itself as a representative event for international cooperation and global startup exchange at CES, and that he will continue to develop it into a program that attracts the attention of key players in the global startup ecosystem.

イベントは参加国別に選抜されたスタートアップが参加するIRピッチング大会で始まった。各国のスタートアップは審査委員とイベント訪問者を対象に技術と事業モデルを発表し、審査にはグローバルメディア関係者とベンチャーキャピタル関係者が参加して投資魅力度とグローバル拡張可能性を中心に評価した。
大会の結果、グランドアワードは韓国ソウル統合館所属のファーストハビットが受賞し、スケールアップ賞は台湾の華テックインターナショナル、インパクト賞はカナダのキュービックスペースがそれぞれ選ばれた。受賞企業にはトロフィーとともに賞金が授与された。参加スタートアップは今回のイベントを通じてグローバル投資家とメディアを対象に技術を紹介し、海外市場進出の機会を模索することができたと評価した。
続くパネルトークでは、各国の創業支援機関の関係者が自国の創業支援政策とグローバル創業生態系の主要な課題を共有した。また、強化されたネットワーキングセッションを通じて、グローバルベンチャーキャピタル、メディア、スタートアップ、創業支援機関の関係者が交流し、協力の可能性を議論した。一部のスタートアップには舞台で技術を紹介できる1分PRスピーチ機会も提供された。
キム・ヒョヌソウル経済振興院代表理事は、グローバルイノベーションフォーラムがCESで国家間協力とグローバルスタートアップ交流を代表する行事として位置づけることを期待するとし、グローバル創業生態系主要主体が注目するプログラムに持続発展していくと明らかにした。

美国小企业管理局将在2026年国际消费电子展（CES）上举办全球创新论坛

La SBA organisera le Forum mondial de l'innovation au CES 2026
Le 7 janvier, deuxième jour du CES , l'Agence de promotion économique de Séoul (SBA, PDG : Kim Hyun-woo) a organisé le Forum mondial de l'innovation, un événement de réseautage international pour les startups, articulé autour des plus grands pavillons nationaux du CES. Ce premier concours national de startups et programme de réseautage du CES a réuni des participants de sept pays : la Corée du Sud, Taïwan, la Suisse, Israël, le Japon, le Canada et la France.
Le Forum mondial de l'innovation a été conçu pour renforcer les liens entre les écosystèmes de startups internationaux, en tirant parti du CES, le plus grand salon mondial des technologies. Suite au Forum de l'innovation de Séoul, lancé en 2025 avec la participation de cinq pays, le forum a élargi son champ d'action et renforcé sa programmation, devenant ainsi le Forum mondial de l'innovation en 2026. Cet événement était organisé conjointement par des organismes de soutien aux startups, gérant des pavillons nationaux dans chaque pays.
L'événement a débuté par un concours de pitchs auprès des investisseurs, mettant en compétition des startups sélectionnées dans chaque pays participant. Ces startups ont présenté leurs technologies et leurs modèles économiques à un jury composé de représentants des médias internationaux et de participants. Des investisseurs en capital-risque ont également participé à l'évaluation, considérant l'attractivité des startups pour les investisseurs et leur potentiel d'expansion internationale.
À l'issue du concours, le Grand Prix a été décerné à First Habit, affiliée au Seoul Integrated Center en Corée. Le Prix de la Croissance a été attribué à Hua Tech International (Taïwan) et le Prix de l'Impact à Cubic Space (Canada). Les entreprises lauréates ont reçu des trophées et des prix en espèces. Les startups participantes ont perçu l'événement comme une opportunité de présenter leurs technologies à des investisseurs et des médias internationaux et d'explorer des pistes d'expansion sur les marchés étrangers.
Lors de la table ronde qui a suivi, des représentants d'organismes de soutien aux startups de différents pays ont présenté leurs politiques respectives et les enjeux clés de l'écosystème mondial des startups. Par ailleurs, des séances de réseautage renforcées ont permis aux investisseurs en capital-risque, aux médias, aux startups et aux organismes de soutien aux startups du monde entier d'échanger et de discuter de collaborations potentielles. Certaines startups ont également eu l'opportunité de présenter leurs technologies sur scène, lors de présentations éclair d'une minute.
Kim Hyun-woo, PDG de l'Agence de promotion économique de Séoul, a déclaré espérer que le Forum mondial de l'innovation s'imposerait comme un événement représentatif de la coopération internationale et des échanges de startups mondiales au CES, et qu'il continuerait à le développer en un programme qui attire l'attention des acteurs clés de l'écosystème mondial des startups.
