서울시와 서울경제진흥원(대표이사 김현우)은 마곡입주기업협의회(회장 김낙희)와 마곡산업단지의 지속 가능한 성장과 공동 발전을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 마곡산업단지가 안정적인 운영 단계에 접어든 현 시점에서, 기존 관리 중심의 운영 방식에서 벗어나 입주기업과의 협력을 강화하고 산업단지의 경쟁력을 체계적으로 높이기 위한 취지로 마련됐다. 또한 산업단지를 단순한 생산·업무 공간을 넘어 기업과 사람, 문화가 함께 어우러지는 공간으로 전환하기 위한 협력의 출발점이라는 점에서 의미를 가진다.
최근 법·제도 환경 변화에 따라 산업단지 운영 구조가 점차 유연해지면서, 산업단지는 기능 중심 공간을 넘어 새로운 역할을 요구받고 있다. 이에 서울경제진흥원과 마곡입주기업협의회는 마곡산업단지의 중장기 발전 방향을 공동으로 논의하고, 입주기업의 현장 애로사항을 체계적으로 수렴·개선하는 협력 체계를 구축할 계획이다.
양 기관은 입주기업의 성장 단계에 맞춰 경영, 기술, 투자, 판로, 인력 등 다양한 기업 지원 사업을 연계하고, 간담회와 설명회, 성과 공유회 등을 통해 협력 성과를 확산해 나갈 방침이다. 이를 통해 산업단지 내 기업 간 교류를 활성화하고, 정책과 사업이 현장 수요에 맞게 작동하는 선순환 구조를 조성한다는 계획이다.
이번 협약에서는 문화와 산업의 결합을 통한 산업단지 경쟁력 강화도 주요 과제로 제시됐다. 서울경제진흥원은 산업단지를 생산과 업무 중심 공간에서 문화와 경험이 결합된 공간으로 전환하기 위해 문화·예술·교류 요소를 접목한 프로그램을 단계적으로 추진할 예정이다. 이는 산업단지의 공간 이미지 개선과 함께 기업의 브랜드 경쟁력 및 인재 유입 기반 강화로 이어질 것으로 기대된다.
전대현 서울경제진흥원 본부장은 “문화와 비즈니스를 결합해 새로운 가치를 창출하는 것은 도시와 산업 경쟁력을 좌우하는 핵심 전략”이라며 “이번 협약을 통해 마곡산업단지를 중심으로 문화와 산업을 연계한 새로운 산업단지 모델을 만들어가겠다”고 말했다.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (CEO Kim Hyeon-woo) announced that they have signed a business agreement with the Magok Industrial Complex Residents Association (Chairman Kim Nak-hee) for the sustainable growth and joint development of the Magok Industrial Complex.
This agreement, now that Magok Industrial Complex has entered a stable operational phase, aims to move beyond its existing management-centric approach and strengthen collaboration with resident companies, systematically enhancing the complex's competitiveness. Furthermore, it is significant as a starting point for collaboration aimed at transforming the complex beyond a mere production and office space into a space where businesses, people, and culture come together.
As the operational structure of industrial complexes becomes increasingly flexible due to recent changes in the legal and institutional environment, industrial complexes are being asked to play new roles beyond their traditional function-focused spaces. Accordingly, the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency and the Magok Tenant Enterprise Council plan to jointly discuss the mid- to long-term development direction of Magok Industrial Complex and establish a cooperative system to systematically collect and address the challenges faced by resident companies.
The two organizations plan to link various business support programs, covering management, technology, investment, sales channels, and human resources, tailored to the growth stages of resident companies. They will also disseminate the results of their collaboration through meetings, briefings, and performance sharing events. Through these efforts, they aim to foster exchanges between companies within the industrial complex and create a virtuous cycle where policies and projects align with on-site needs.
This agreement also identified strengthening the competitiveness of industrial complexes through the integration of culture and industry as a key task. The Seoul Economic Promotion Agency plans to gradually implement programs that integrate cultural, artistic, and exchange elements to transform industrial complexes from production- and business-centric spaces into spaces that combine culture and experience. This is expected to lead to an improved spatial image of industrial complexes, strengthening corporate brand competitiveness, and attracting talent.
Jeon Dae-hyun, head of the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency, said, “Creating new value by combining culture and business is a key strategy that determines the competitiveness of cities and industries,” and added, “Through this agreement, we will create a new industrial complex model that links culture and industry, centered around the Magok Industrial Complex.”

Le gouvernement métropolitain de Séoul et l'Agence de promotion économique de Séoul (PDG Kim Hyeon-woo) ont annoncé avoir signé un accord commercial avec l'Association des résidents du complexe industriel de Magok (président Kim Nak-hee) pour la croissance durable et le développement conjoint du complexe industriel de Magok.
Cet accord, conclu alors que le complexe industriel de Magok est entré dans une phase opérationnelle stable, vise à dépasser son approche managériale actuelle et à renforcer la collaboration avec les entreprises résidentes, améliorant ainsi la compétitivité du complexe. Il constitue également un point de départ important pour une collaboration visant à transformer le complexe, d'un simple espace de production et de bureaux, en un lieu de rencontre entre entreprises, personnes et culture.
Face à la flexibilité croissante de la structure opérationnelle des zones industrielles, due aux récentes évolutions du cadre juridique et institutionnel, ces dernières sont appelées à jouer de nouveaux rôles, dépassant leur simple fonction d'espace traditionnel. En conséquence, l'Agence de promotion économique de Séoul et le Conseil des entreprises locataires de Magok prévoient d'examiner conjointement les orientations de développement à moyen et long terme de la zone industrielle de Magok et de mettre en place un système de coopération pour recenser et traiter de manière systématique les difficultés rencontrées par les entreprises résidentes.
Les deux organisations prévoient de coordonner divers programmes d'accompagnement des entreprises, couvrant la gestion, la technologie, l'investissement, les canaux de vente et les ressources humaines, adaptés aux différentes phases de croissance des entreprises résidentes. Elles diffuseront également les résultats de leur collaboration lors de réunions, de séances d'information et d'événements de partage des performances. Par ces initiatives, elles visent à favoriser les échanges entre les entreprises du complexe industriel et à créer un cercle vertueux où les politiques et les projets répondent aux besoins locaux.
Cet accord a également identifié le renforcement de la compétitivité des zones industrielles par l'intégration de la culture et de l'industrie comme une priorité. L'Agence de promotion économique de Séoul prévoit de mettre en œuvre progressivement des programmes intégrant des dimensions culturelles, artistiques et d'échange afin de transformer les zones industrielles, actuellement centrées sur la production et les affaires, en espaces alliant culture et expérience. Cette transformation devrait améliorer l'image spatiale des zones industrielles, renforcer la compétitivité des marques des entreprises et attirer les talents.
Jeon Dae-hyun, directeur de l'Agence de promotion économique de Séoul, a déclaré : « Créer de la valeur en combinant culture et affaires est une stratégie clé qui détermine la compétitivité des villes et des industries », et a ajouté : « Grâce à cet accord, nous allons créer un nouveau modèle de complexe industriel qui relie la culture et l'industrie, centré autour du complexe industriel de Magok. »
