스마트 건물 에너지 관리 솔루션을 개발하는 클라우드앤이 안산시 청년창업펀드의 2호 투자기업으로 선정됐다. 클라우드앤은 지난 3일 현판 전달식을 진행하고, 안산시로부터 총 12억 원의 투자를 유치했다고 밝혔다.
클라우드앤은 무선 IoT와 클라우드 기반 인공지능(AI) 최적 제어 기술을 보유한 기업으로, 건물 내 냉난방, 조명, 주요 설비 데이터를 실시간 수집·분석해 에너지 사용을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 통합 플랫폼을 제공하고 있다. 수집된 데이터는 클라우드 상에서 AI가 자동으로 분석하고 제어함으로써 에너지 비용 절감과 탄소배출 저감을 동시에 도모한다. 해당 기술은 ESG(환경·사회·지배구조) 경영을 추진하는 기업들에게 운영 효율성과 지속가능성 확보에 기여할 수 있는 솔루션으로 평가받고 있다.
클라우드앤은 2015년 설립 이후 10년간 정부 및 대학 연구기관의 협력을 통해 기술을 고도화해 왔으며, 최근에는 제조업 현장 대상의 에너지 관리 시스템인 FEMS(Factory Energy Management System) 사업도 본격적으로 추진 중이다. 이 시스템은 전과정평가(LCA, Life Cycle Assessment) 기능을 탑재해 자동차 공장 등 산업 현장의 탄소 배출량을 정량적으로 평가하고 관리할 수 있다.
안산시 청년창업펀드는 지역 청년 창업 활성화를 위해 2022년 하반기부터 조성된 펀드로, 총 1,000억 원 규모 달성을 목표로 하고 있다. 현재는 1·2호 펀드로 총 1,046억 원이 운용 중이며, 에스벤처스와 에이치비인베스트먼트가 공동 운용사로 참여하고 있다. 안산시는 올해 하반기 중 3호 펀드 결성을 위해 지방재정 중앙투자심사 및 시의회 출자 동의안 승인을 완료한 상태다.
클라우드앤 김정석 대표는 “지난 10년간 축적한 기술력과 경험을 바탕으로 국내뿐 아니라 동남아시아 시장에서도 경쟁력을 입증하고 있다”며 “이번 투자를 계기로 기업의 역량을 더욱 강화해 국내외 에너지 관리 시장에서 지속적인 성장을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
에스벤처스 도승환 공동대표는 “클라우드앤은 상업용 건물 에너지 관리와 중소형 시설물 유지관리 분야에서 높은 기술력을 갖추고 있으며, 태국과 베트남 등지에서 진행된 실증 사업도 성공적으로 마무리됐다”며 “향후 글로벌 기업으로의 성장이 기대된다”고 말했다.
이민근 안산시장은 “청년창업은 안산의 미래 성장동력 중 하나”라며 “클라우드앤과 같은 기술 기반 혁신 기업이 지속적으로 성장할 수 있도록 행정적·재정적 지원을 강화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Cloud & , a company developing smart building energy management solutions, has been selected as the second investment company for the Ansan Youth Startup Fund. Cloud & is a company that possesses wireless IoT and cloud-based artificial intelligence (AI) optimal control technology, and provides an integrated platform that efficiently manages energy use by collecting and analyzing data on heating and cooling, lighting, and major facilities in buildings in real time. The collected data is automatically analyzed and controlled by AI on the cloud, thereby simultaneously reducing energy costs and carbon emissions. The technology is evaluated as a solution that can contribute to securing operational efficiency and sustainability for companies that pursue ESG (environment, society, and governance) management.
Since its establishment in 2015, Cloud & has been advancing its technology through collaboration with government and university research institutes for 10 years, and recently, it has been actively promoting the FEMS (Factory Energy Management System) project, an energy management system for manufacturing sites. This system is equipped with a life cycle assessment (LCA) function, which can quantitatively evaluate and manage carbon emissions from industrial sites such as automobile factories.
Ansan City Youth Entrepreneurship Fund is a fund established in the second half of 2022 to promote local youth entrepreneurship, and aims to reach a total of KRW 100 billion. Currently, a total of KRW 104.6 billion is being managed in the first and second funds, and S Ventures and HB Investment are participating as joint managers. Ansan City has completed the central investment review of local finance and the approval of the city council's investment agreement for the formation of the third fund in the second half of this year.

Ansan Mayor Lee Min-geun said, “Youth entrepreneurship is one of Ansan’s future growth engines,” and added, “We will strengthen administrative and financial support so that technology-based innovative companies such as Cloud & can continue to grow.”

Depuis sa création en 2015, Cloud& a fait progresser sa technologie grâce à une collaboration avec des instituts de recherche gouvernementaux et universitaires pendant 10 ans, et récemment, elle a également activement promu le projet FEMS (Factory Energy Management System), un système de gestion de l'énergie pour les sites de fabrication. Actuellement, un total de 104,6 milliards de wons sont gérés par les fonds 1 et 2, et S Ventures et HB Investment participent en tant que co-gestionnaires. La ville d'Ansan a achevé l'examen central des investissements des finances locales et l'approbation du plan de consentement d'investissement du conseil municipal pour la formation du troisième fonds au cours du second semestre de cette année.
