지능형 전력 및 센싱 기술의 선도 기업인 온세미(나스닥 ON)는 경기도 부천에 위치한 온세미코리아의 신임 대표이사로 이태종 전 키파운드리 대표이사를 선임했다고 발표했다. 신임 이태종 대표이사는 30년 이상 반도체 팹 분야와 글로벌 IDM(Integrated Device Manufacturer), 파운드리 기업을 위한 기술 개발, 설계 서비스, 영업, 마케팅, 제조 운영 분야 등에서 전문성을 쌓았다.
온세미 글로벌 제조 및 운영 부회장인 웨이 청 왕(Wei-Chung Wang)은 “신임 이태종 대표이사가 반도체 분야에서의 전문성과 리더십을 폭넓게 쌓아온 만큼, 부천 팹의 지속적인 글로벌 성공에 중요한 역할을 할 것”이라며, “온세미 부천 팹은 전기차 시장, 에너지 인프라, AI 데이터센터 확장에 대한 수요를 충족하기 위한 온세미의 차별화된 솔루션을 제공하는 혁신과 기술 우수성의 허브이다. 이를 지속하기 위해 온세미는 끊임없는 혁신과 협력, 그리고 모든 분야에서 최고의 가치를 추구하고 있다. 온세미는 훌륭한 팀과 리더십을 갖춘 만큼, 지속적인 성장과 성공을 이끌 최적의 위치에 있다”고 말했다.

신임 이태종 대표이사는 온세미에 합류하기 전 키파운드리(현 SK하이닉스의 자회사인 SK키파운드리)와 올칩스코퍼레이션에서 대표이사 겸 사장을 역임한 바 있다. 이전에는 한국 매그나칩 세미컨덕터(MagnaChip Semiconductor)에서 파운드리 사업부 부사장 겸 사업부장을 맡았으며, 싱가포르의 차터드 세미컨덕터 매뉴팩쳐링(Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing, 현 글로벌파운드리(GlobalFoundries))과 삼성반도체(현 온세미)에서 근무했다. 신임 이태종 대표이사는 2025년 3월 4일부로 임명됐다.

Onsemi Korea appoints Taejong Lee as new CEO
ON Semiconductor (NASDAQ: ON) , a leader in intelligent power and sensing technologies, announced the appointment of Taejong Lee, former CEO of Key Foundry, as the new CEO of ON Semiconductor Korea, located in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do. Mr. Lee brings over 30 years of expertise in technology development, design services, sales, marketing and manufacturing operations for semiconductor fabs, global IDMs (Integrated Device Manufacturers) and foundries.

Prior to joining ON Semiconductor, the new CEO, Taejong Lee, served as CEO and President at KeyFoundry (now SK KeyFoundry, a subsidiary of SK Hynix) and Allchips Corporation. Previously, he served as Vice President and General Manager of the Foundry Business Unit at MagnaChip Semiconductor in Korea, and worked at Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing (now GlobalFoundries) in Singapore and Samsung Semiconductor (now ON Semi). The new CEO, Taejong Lee, was appointed on March 4, 2025.

新任イ・テジョン代表取締役はオンセミに合流する前、キーファウンドリ（現SKハイニックスの子会社であるSKキーファウンドリ）とオールチップスコーポレーションで代表取締役兼社長を歴任した。以前は韓国マグナチップセミコンダクタ（MagnaChip Semiconductor）でファウンドリ事業部副社長兼事業部長を務め、シンガポールのチャータードセミコンダクタマニュファクチャリング（Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing、現グローバルファウンドリ（GlobalFoundries））とサムスン半導体。新任イ・テジョン代表取締役は2025年3月4日に任命された。

ON Semiconductor (NASDAQ : ON) , leader des technologies intelligentes d'alimentation et de détection, a annoncé la nomination de Taejong Lee, ancien PDG de KeyFoundry, au poste de nouveau PDG d'ON Semiconductor Korea, situé à Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do. Le nouveau PDG Lee Tae-jong possède plus de 30 ans d'expertise dans le développement technologique, les services de conception, les ventes, le marketing et les opérations de fabrication pour les usines de semi-conducteurs, les IDM (fabricants de dispositifs intégrés) mondiaux et les sociétés de fonderie.

Auparavant, il a occupé le poste de vice-président et directeur général de l'unité commerciale Foundry chez MagnaChip Semiconductor Korea et a travaillé chez Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing (maintenant GlobalFoundries) et Samsung Semiconductor (maintenant ON Semi) à Singapour. Le nouveau PDG, Lee Tae-jong, a été nommé à compter du 4 mars 2025.
