과학기술정보통신부(장관. 유상임)가 주최하고 한국무역협회, 한국정보통신진흥협회, 정보통신기획평가원, 정보통신산업진흥원 등 9개 기관이 공동주관하며 산업통상자원부가 후원하는 ‘2025 월드IT쇼’가 “AI로 디지털 대전환, 과학기술로 미래 선도”를 슬로건으로 오는 24일부터 26일까지 사흘간 서울 코엑스(A, B, C Hall)에서 개최된다.
2008년부터 시작된 ‘월드IT쇼’는 AI·ICT 분야 전시회로 매년 국내외 최신 AI·ICT트렌드 및 응용 기술 분야 산업 동향과 전망을 확인하고, 동 분야 유망혁신기업부터 대기업까지 실질적 비즈니스 성과를 지향하는 B2B 행사다.
올해 행사는 17개국들에서 온 국내외 기업들이 참가한다. ICT분야 대기업 및 중소기업과 혁신 스타트업, 정보통신 R&D 분야 공공기관 및 단체들까지 참여해 1,300부스 규모로 개최되어 행사장인 코엑스 A, B, C홀을 채울 예정이다.

◆ 올해 행사 특징 및 변화 – 국내외 혁신기술 보유 기업 참여 공간 강화
올해 행사는 기술 수요·공급 기업 간 현장 비즈니스 네트워킹을 강화에 집중한다. 전시에 참여하는 민·관 협력 참여 및 혁신기술을 보유한 100여 개의 유망 ICT유망혁신기업들과 투자사 및 바이어들이 전시 참여 목적을 사전공유하고, 상호 니즈를 기반으로, 사업협력 및 투자 파트너를 발굴하는 1:1 연결형 비즈니스 커넥팅 프로그램인, ‘밍글링존(Mingling Zone)’이 B1홀에서 개최된다. 첫날인 24일 C홀에서 개최되는 ‘글로벌 ICT전망 콘퍼런스’에서는 ‘AX시대: AI 일상화의 본격화’를 주제로 차세대 ICT 주요기술들의 전망과 급변하는 산업환경 속 우리 ICT 기업들의 대응전략과 시장 전망이 공유될 예정이다.
아울러 행사에 참가한 중소기업 중 혁신적인 ICT기술을 사전 심사를 통해 선정해 장관상 등을 수여하는 ‘WIS혁신상’ 및 올해의 ICT분야 수상 행사인 ‘대한민국 ImpaCT-ech대상’ 시상 도 4월 24일(목) 현장에서 진행될 예정이다. 이외에도 CES 등 글로벌 ICT전시회에서 ‘혁신상’ 등을 수상한 국내 기업의 수상 기술과 제품을 공유하고 글로벌 기술 트렌드를 제공하는 (가칭)글로벌 혁신 어워드 수상작 쇼케이스도 오는 25일 코엑스 B홀에서 개최된다.
국내외 기업 간 비즈니스 협력을 촉진하고 ICT 업계의 실질적인 수출성과를 창출하고자 ‘한국무역협회’주관의 ‘글로벌 ICT 바이어 초청 수출상담회’도 24, 25일 양일간 코엑스 1층 A홀에서 운영된다. 이번 상담회에는 12개국 총 45개사의 바이어가 참가하고, 사전매칭을 통해 국내기업 150여 개사와 700여 건의 수출 상담을 진행할 예정이다.
이외에도 사전 선정된 ICT유망혁신기술 보유 참가사들의 제품과 기술들이 공개되는 자리인 ‘신제품&신기술발표회’가 25일(금) C홀에서 진행된다. 혁신 참가기업들이 행사에 초대된 신기술 소싱 및 사업·기술협력 부분의 대·중견기업 임직원과 유망투자기업 발굴을 위해 참여하는 투자사(FI/SI/M&A)를 대상으로 자사의 신제품과 신기술을 선보이는 행사가 될 예정이다.
◆ 동시개최 행사 소개
이와 함께 동시개최 행사로 정보통신기획평가원, 대학정보통신연구센터협의회이 주관하여 개최되는 ‘ITRC 인재양성대전 2025’이 개최된다. 전국 38개 대학, 81개 대학IT연구센터들이 반도체·디스플레이, 차세대 인공지능·빅데이터 등 연구주제별로 10개 관을 구성해 그간의 연구성과물을 쉽게 체험할 수 있도록 국민 참여형 전시관 형태로 행사를 3일 간 개최한다.
정보통신기획평가원이 주관하여 주요 ICT분야 연구개발의 성과가 민간으로 이전, 사업화될 수 있도록 지원하는 기술 교류의 장인 ‘2025 ICT 기술사업화 페스티벌’도 동시개최 행사로 개최된다. 정부의 지원을 받은 공공연구기관과 대학, 기업들이 주요 기술을 전시하고, 공동연구와 협업 기회 모색 등 해당 기술의 수요자와 공급자 간 비즈니스 마케팅의 활성화를 추진할 수 있는 공간이 될 예정이다.
한편 최근 전 세계적인 기후위기에 대응하는 청정에너지 연구개발의 성과를 공유하는 ‘2025 미래청정에너지 포럼’도 동시 개최된다. 본 포럼은 미래 청정에너지 기술의 상용화 및 확산을 위한 산·학연관 전문가 간 협력과 혁신을 도모하는 소통의 장으로 자리매김할 전망이다.

'2025 World IT Show' to be held "17 countries participating, 1,300 booths"

This year's event focuses on strengthening on-site business networking between technology demand and supply companies. The 'Mingling Zone', a 1:1 connected business connecting program where approximately 100 promising ICT innovative companies with public-private cooperation and innovative technologies participating in the exhibition, investors and buyers share their exhibition participation purposes in advance and discover business cooperation and investment partners based on mutual needs, will be held in Hall B1. Along with this, the 'ITRC Talent Development Fair 2025' will be held as a concurrent event, hosted by the Information and Communications Technology Planning and Evaluation Institute and the University Information and Communications Research Center Council. 38 universities and 81 university IT research centers across the country will be organized into 10 halls by research topic, such as semiconductors, displays, next-generation artificial intelligence, and big data, and will hold the event for three days in the form of a citizen participation exhibition hall so that the research results can be easily experienced.
The '2025 ICT Technology Commercialization Festival', a venue for technology exchange hosted by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency to support the transfer and commercialization of major ICT research and development results to the private sector, will also be held as a concurrent event. It will be a space where public research institutes, universities, and companies that have received government support can exhibit major technologies and promote business marketing between demanders and suppliers of relevant technologies, such as seeking joint research and collaboration opportunities.
Meanwhile, the '2025 Future Clean Energy Forum' will also be held at the same time to share the results of clean energy research and development in response to the recent global climate crisis. This forum is expected to serve as a venue for communication that promotes cooperation and innovation among experts from industry, academia, and research institutes for the commercialization and expansion of future clean energy technologies.
An official from the '2025 World IT Show' organizing committee emphasized that this year's event is "providing various business opportunities to our IT companies as well, with the emergence of open source-based alternative models for AI investment, which has been mainly focused on M7 companies in the U.S." "This year's 'World IT Show' is a domestic marketplace where you can share cases of cost reduction and productivity enhancement using physical AI, such as robotics and digital twins in various industries, and see various AI-based digital-based business models in one place." ◆ Introduction aux événements organisés simultanément

Il s'agira d'un espace où les instituts de recherche publics, les universités et les entreprises bénéficiant d'un soutien gouvernemental pourront présenter des technologies clés et promouvoir le marketing commercial entre les demandeurs et les fournisseurs de technologies pertinentes, par exemple en recherchant des opportunités de recherche et de collaboration conjointes.
Parallèlement, le « 2025 Future Clean Energy Forum » se tiendra également simultanément pour partager les résultats de la recherche et du développement en matière d'énergie propre en réponse à la récente crise climatique mondiale. Ce forum devrait servir de lieu de communication favorisant la coopération et l’innovation entre les experts de l’industrie, du monde universitaire et des instituts de recherche pour la commercialisation et l’expansion des futures technologies d’énergie propre.
