산업용 로봇 전문 기업 더로보틱스 주식회사는 대만의 농업기계 전문 기업 JYEN HERR ENTERPRISE CO., LTD(젠허엔터프라이즈)와 대만 농업시장 내 로봇 기술 개발 및 공급 확대를 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
더로보틱스는 국내 최초로 추종형 운반로봇 ‘봇박스(botbox)’를 상용화한 스타트업으로, 험지에서도 주행이 가능한 자율주행 기술을 탑재한 로봇을 통해 농업, 물류, 건설 등 다양한 산업 분야에서 활용 가능한 솔루션을 제공하고 있다. 봇박스는 작업자의 이동을 자동 인식하여 따라가는 기능을 갖추고 있어 현장 작업의 효율성과 안전성을 높이는 데 기여하고 있다.
협약 파트너인 JYEN HERR는 27년 이상의 업력을 보유한 대만의 제초기 전문 기업으로, 농업 자동화 수요 증가에 따라 더로보틱스의 로봇 기술에 주목하며 협력 가능성을 지속적으로 모색해 왔다. 양사는 2024년 12월 첫 봇박스 수출 이후 실증 테스트 및 기술 교류를 이어왔으며, 이번 MOU를 통해 양사의 전략적 파트너십을 공식화하고 협력 범위를 확대하기로 했다.
이번 협약을 통해 양사는 대만 농업 환경에 적합한 로봇 기술 공동 개발, 현지 맞춤형 제품 기획 및 유통, A/S 및 기술 교육 체계 구축 등 다양한 분야에서 협력할 예정이다. 이를 통해 더로보틱스는 대만 시장 내 로봇 보급 확대와 동시에 현지화를 강화하며 아시아 농업 자동화 시장으로의 본격적인 진출을 추진한다는 방침이다.
더로보틱스 강동우 대표는 “이번 협약은 대만을 포함한 아시아 농업 시장 진출을 위한 중요한 계기가 될 것”이라며 “현지 파트너사와의 협력을 바탕으로 농업 자동화와 생산성 향상을 위한 기술 고도화에 힘쓸 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Industrial robot specialist Derrobotics Co., Ltd. announced that it has signed a business agreement (MOU) with Taiwanese agricultural machinery specialist JYEN HERR ENTERPRISE CO., LTD. to develop and expand supply of robot technology in the Taiwanese agricultural market.
The Robotics is a startup that commercialized the first domestically produced follow-up transport robot, ‘botbox’, and provides solutions that can be used in various industrial fields such as agriculture, logistics, and construction through robots equipped with autonomous driving technology that can drive even on rough terrain. The botbox has a function that automatically recognizes and follows the movement of workers, contributing to improving the efficiency and safety of field work.
JYEN HERR, the agreement partner, is a Taiwanese weeder specialist with over 27 years of experience. As the demand for agricultural automation increases, they have been paying attention to Derrobotics’ robot technology and have continuously explored possibilities for cooperation. Since the first Botbox export in December 2024, the two companies have continued verification tests and technology exchanges, and through this MOU, they have decided to formalize their strategic partnership and expand the scope of cooperation.
Through this agreement, the two companies will cooperate in various areas, such as joint development of robot technology suitable for Taiwan’s agricultural environment, planning and distribution of local customized products, and establishing A/S and technical education systems. Through this, Derrobotics plans to expand the supply of robots in the Taiwanese market while strengthening localization and promoting full-scale entry into the Asian agricultural automation market.
“This agreement will be an important opportunity for us to enter the Asian agricultural market, including Taiwan,” said Kang Dong-woo, CEO of Derrobotics. “Based on cooperation with local partners, we will strive to advance technologies for agricultural automation and productivity enhancement.”
