서울시가 운영하는 핀테크 특화 스타트업 지원기관 ‘서울핀테크랩(Seoul Fintech Lab)’은 지난 4월 24일 주한 칠레대사관 관계자들을 초청해 상호 협력 가능성을 모색하는 자리를 마련했다고 25일 밝혔다.
이번 만남은 양국 간 핀테크 산업과 스타트업 생태계의 교류를 활성화하기 위한 취지로 진행됐다. 서울핀테크랩은 이날 행사에서 기관의 주요 기능과 함께 입주 기업 대상 지원 프로그램을 소개하고, 해외 스타트업에게도 개방된 입주 조건을 설명하며 칠레 핀테크 기업의 한국 진출 가능성에 대해 실질적인 논의를 이어갔다.
서울핀테크랩은 창업 7년 이내의 핀테크 스타트업을 대상으로 최대 3년간 입주 공간을 비롯해 법률·회계 자문, 투자 연계, 글로벌 진출 프로그램 등을 무상으로 제공하고 있다. 이외에도 오픈이노베이션, 데모데이, 전문가 멘토링, 교육 아카데미 등의 프로그램을 통해 스타트업의 성장을 전방위적으로 지원하고 있다.
칠레대사관 측은 한국의 핀테크 및 스타트업 지원 인프라에 높은 관심을 나타내며, “올해 5월 칠레에서 예정된 스타트업 및 혁신 생태계 관련 행사를 계기로 양국 간 실질적인 협력 확대가 가능할 것”이라고 밝혔다. 또한 “내년에는 보다 구체적인 공동 프로그램 논의와 온·오프라인 교류가 이뤄질 수 있을 것으로 기대한다”고 덧붙였다.
이와 함께 칠레 측은 양국 스타트업 간의 교류뿐만 아니라, 한국 스타트업의 중남미 시장 진출을 위한 칠레 정부 및 민간 기관과의 협력 가능성도 제안하며 상호 진출을 위한 구조적인 협업 방안에 대해 논의했다.
서울핀테크랩 관계자는 “이번 교류를 통해 한국과 칠레 간 핀테크 산업의 협력 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다”며 “앞으로도 글로벌 파트너십을 지속 확대하고, 서울의 유망 핀테크 기업들이 해외 시장으로 진출할 수 있도록 다각적인 지원을 이어갈 것”이라고 말했다.

Seoul Fintech Lab Exchanges with Chilean Embassy.. “Discussing Mutual Cooperation Plans”
Seoul Fintech Lab, a fintech specialized startup support organization operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, announced on the 25th that it invited officials from the Chilean Embassy in Korea on April 24th to discuss the possibility of mutual cooperation.
This meeting was held with the purpose of activating exchanges between the fintech industry and startup ecosystems between the two countries. At the event, Seoul Fintech Lab introduced the main functions of the organization and support programs for resident companies, explained the conditions for resident companies that are open to overseas startups, and continued with substantive discussions on the possibility of Chilean fintech companies advancing into Korea.
Seoul Fintech Lab provides free space for up to 3 years, legal and accounting advice, investment connections, and global expansion programs to fintech startups that have been in business for less than 7 years. In addition, it provides comprehensive support for startup growth through programs such as open innovation, demo days, expert mentoring, and education academies.
The Chilean Embassy expressed great interest in Korea’s fintech and startup support infrastructure, and said, “We expect that the startup and innovation ecosystem-related events scheduled for Chile this May will lead to substantial expansion of cooperation between the two countries.” They added, “We expect that more specific joint program discussions and online and offline exchanges will be possible next year.”
In addition, the Chilean side proposed not only exchanges between startups from both countries, but also the possibility of cooperation with the Chilean government and private organizations for the entry of Korean startups into the Central and South American markets, and discussed structural collaboration plans for mutual advancement.
An official from Seoul Fintech Lab said, “Through this exchange, we were able to confirm the potential for cooperation between the fintech industries of Korea and Chile,” and added, “We will continue to expand our global partnership and provide diverse support so that promising fintech companies in Seoul can advance into overseas markets.”

ソウルフィンテックラップ、チリ大使館と交流..「相互協力方案議論」

チリ大使館側は韓国のフィンテック及びスタートアップ支援インフラに高い関心を示し、「今年５月にチリで予定されたスタートアップ及びイノベーションエコシステム関連行事をきっかけに両国間の実質的な協力拡大が可能だろう」と明らかにした。また「来年には、より具体的な共同プログラム議論とオン・オフライン交流が成し遂げられると期待する」と付け加えた。
これと共にチリ側は両国スタートアップ間の交流だけでなく、韓国スタートアップの中南米市場進出のためのチリ政府及び民間機関との協力可能性も提案し、相互進出のための構造的なコラボレーション案について議論した。
ソウルフィンテックラップ関係者は「今回の交流を通じて韓国とチリ間のフィンテック産業の協力可能性を確認できた」とし「今後もグローバルパートナーシップを持続拡大し、ソウルの有望なフィンテック企業が海外市場に進出できるように多角的な支援を続けていく」と話した。

首尔市运营的金融科技专业创业支援机构“首尔金融科技实验室” 25日表示，已于4月24日邀请智利驻韩国大使馆官员，商讨相互合作的可能性。

此外，智利方面不仅提出了两国初创企业之间的交流，还提出了与智利政府和民间机构合作帮助韩国初创企业进入中南美市场的可能性，并讨论了旨在共同发展的结构性合作计划。
首尔金融科技实验室相关人士表示，“通过此次交流，确认了韩国与智利金融科技产业的合作潜力”，并表示，“为了帮助首尔有前景的金融科技企业进军海外市场，我们将继续扩大全球合作伙伴关系，并提供多样化的支持”。

Le Seoul Fintech Lab échange avec l'ambassade du Chili. « Discussion sur les projets de coopération mutuelle »
Seoul Fintech Lab, une organisation de soutien aux startups spécialisées dans la fintech gérée par le gouvernement métropolitain de Séoul, a annoncé le 25 qu'elle avait invité des responsables de l'ambassade du Chili en Corée le 24 avril pour discuter de la possibilité d'une coopération mutuelle.
Cette rencontre a été organisée dans le but d’activer les échanges entre l’industrie fintech et les écosystèmes startup entre les deux pays. Lors de l'événement, Seoul Fintech Lab a présenté les principales fonctions de l'organisation ainsi que son programme de soutien aux entreprises résidentes, a expliqué les conditions pour les entreprises résidentes ouvertes aux startups étrangères et a poursuivi des discussions de fond sur la possibilité pour les entreprises fintech chiliennes de progresser en Corée.
Seoul Fintech Lab offre un espace gratuit jusqu'à trois ans, ainsi que des conseils juridiques et comptables, des liens d'investissement et des programmes d'expansion mondiale aux startups fintech créées au cours des sept dernières années. De plus, nous offrons un soutien complet à la croissance des startups grâce à des programmes tels que l'innovation ouverte, la journée de démonstration, le mentorat d'experts et l'académie d'éducation.
