의료 인공지능(AI) 전문기업 제이엘케이가 자사의 뇌 MRI 영상 AI 솔루션인 ‘JLK-GRE’의 일본 인허가를 취득했다고 28일 밝혔다. 이번 인허가를 통해 제이엘케이는 일본에서 총 6개의 의료 영상 AI 솔루션 인허가를 보유하게 되었으며, 현지 시장에서의 포트폴리오를 확장하게 됐다.
‘JLK-GRE’는 뇌 MRI의 GRE(Gradient Echo) 영상에서 저강도(hypo-intensity) 영역을 자동으로 검출하고 분석하는 솔루션으로, 해당 정보를 의료진에게 직관적인 시각화와 함께 제공한다. 이 분석 결과는 병원의 PACS(Picture Archiving and Communication System) 및 사용자 인터페이스(UI)를 통해 즉시 제공되며, 의료진의 빠르고 정확한 진단 결정을 지원한다.
