에버스핀은 자사의 해킹 방어 솔루션 ‘에버세이프(Eversafe)’를 일본의 대표 금융그룹인 SBI홀딩스에 공급했다고 30일 밝혔다.
이번 공급은 에버스핀과 SBI그룹이 합작한 일본 현지법인 ‘SBI에버스핀’을 통해 이루어졌으며, 연초에는 SBI 계열사 네 곳에도 에버세이프가 선제적으로 도입된 바 있다. 에버세이프는 AI 기반의 MTD(Moving Target Defense) 기술을 적용한 보안 솔루션으로, 해킹 공격의 근원적인 차단을 목표로 설계된 제품이다.
에버세이프는 일정 시간 간격으로 보안 코드가 지속적으로 변화하는 방식으로 작동해, 공격자가 시스템을 분석하더라도 이를 악용할 기회를 원천적으로 차단하는 것이 특징이다. 이와 같은 동적인 보안 체계는 전통적인 정적 방어 방식의 한계를 극복할 수 있는 기술로 평가되며, 미국 국방부도 차세대 사이버 방어 전략으로 MTD 기술을 주목한 바 있다. 에버스핀은 해당 기술을 웹 및 앱 서비스에 실제 적용 가능한 형태로 상용화하는 데 성공했다.
에버스핀 관계자는 “최근 금융사, 통신사, 공공기관 등을 대상으로 한 해킹 시도가 증가하고 있다”며 “공격자의 관점에서 방어할 수 있는 MTD 기반 보안 솔루션의 필요성이 더욱 커지고 있는 상황”이라고 설명했다.

Everspin supplies 'Eversafe' to SBI Holdings
