프로테오믹스(Proteomics, 단백질체학) 기반 정밀의료 기술 기업 베르티스가 오는 7일부터 3일간 서울 코엑스에서 열리는 ‘바이오 코리아(BIO KOREA) 2025’에 참가해 자사의 질량분석 기반 오믹스 분석 서비스 ‘PASS’를 선보인다고 2일 밝혔다.
올해로 20회를 맞은 바이오 코리아는 한국보건산업진흥원과 충청북도가 공동 개최하는 국내 최대 규모의 바이오헬스 전시·컨퍼런스로, 전 세계 보건산업 전문가들이 최신 산업 기술 동향을 공유하고 글로벌 협력 및 비즈니스 기회를 모색하는 장으로 자리매김하고 있다. 베르티스는 행사 기간 전시장에서 홍보 부스를 운영하며, 국내외 실무진 및 연구개발(R&D) 관계자를 대상으로 맞춤형 단백체 분석 서비스에 대한 소개와 상담을 진행할 예정이다.
PASS는 질량분석 기반 단백체 분석과 바이오인포매틱스 데이터 분석 역량을 통합한 오믹스 분석 솔루션으로, 제약·바이오 분야의 기초 연구와 신약 연구개발에 필요한 다양한 분석 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 최근 PASS를 활용한 연구들이 최근 학술지 논문 게재 및 임상 시험계획 승인 등의 성과를 거두면서, 분석 데이터 품질과 맞춤형 컨설팅 역량을 인정받고 있다. 특히 엑소좀 치료제를 이용한 급성 간부전 치료 접근에 대한 연구가 지난 2월 Nature Communications에, PROTAC(PROteolysis-Targeting Chimera) 기반 골 재생 촉진 연구가 3월 Advanced Science에 게재된 바 있다. 이어 4월에는 단백질 특성 분석과 품질 평가를 수행한 에스엔이바이오의 엑소좀 기반 급성뇌경색 치료제가 국내 최초로 식품의약품안전처로부터 임상 1상 시험계획 승인을 받았다.
박성준 PASS 센터장은 “바이오 코리아 참가로 국내외 기초 연구 및 신약 연구개발 관계자들에게 PASS의 분석 역량과 성과를 알리고, 서비스 제공 기회를 넓히길 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 분석 기술 고도화와 고객 맞춤 컨설팅 역량을 기반으로 프로젝트를 성공적으로 수행해 제약 바이오 분야의 핵심 파트너로 동반 성장해 갈 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
한편 베르티스는 코엑스 C홀 F19 부스에서 PASS 서비스에 대한 자세한 상담을 진행할 예정이다.

Vertis to participate in Bio Korea 2025
Vertis, a precision medical technology company based on proteomics, announced on the 2nd that it will participate in 'BIO KOREA 2025' held at COEX in Seoul for three days starting on the 7th and introduce its mass spectrometry-based omics analysis service 'PASS'.
Bio Korea, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, is Korea’s largest biohealth exhibition and conference jointly hosted by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute and Chungcheongbuk-do Province. It has established itself as a place where global health industry experts share the latest industry technology trends and seek global cooperation and business opportunities. During the event, Vertis will operate a promotional booth at the exhibition hall and provide introductions and consultations on customized proteome analysis services to domestic and international practitioners and R&D personnel.
PASS is an omics analysis solution that integrates mass spectrometry-based proteome analysis and bioinformatics data analysis capabilities, and provides various analysis services necessary for basic research and new drug R&D in the pharmaceutical and bio fields. Recently, studies utilizing PASS have achieved results such as publication of academic journal papers and approval of clinical trial plans, and its analysis data quality and customized consulting capabilities are being recognized. In particular, a study on the treatment of acute liver failure using exosome therapeutics was published in Nature Communications in February, and a study on promoting bone regeneration based on PROTAC (PROteolysis-Targeting Chimera) was published in Advanced Science in March. Then, in April, SNI Bio's exosome-based acute cerebral infarction treatment, which performed protein characterization and quality evaluation, received approval for a phase 1 clinical trial plan from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for the first time in Korea.
Park Sung-joon, the director of the PASS Center, said, “Through our participation in Bio Korea, we hope to inform those involved in basic research and new drug R&D at home and abroad of PASS’s analytical capabilities and achievements, and expand opportunities to provide services.” He added, “We will continue to do our best to successfully carry out projects based on advanced analytical technologies and customer-tailored consulting capabilities, and to grow together as a key partner in the pharmaceutical and bio fields.”
Meanwhile, Vertis will provide detailed consultation on the PASS service at booth F19 in Hall C of COEX.

Bio Korea 已进入第 20 届，是韩国最大的生物健康展览和会议，由韩国保健产业发展院和忠清北道联合主办。它已成为全球健康行业专家分享最新行业技术趋势、寻求全球合作与商机的平台。活动期间，Vertis将在展厅设立宣传展位，为国内外从业人员和研发人员提供定制蛋白质组分析服务的介绍和咨询。
PASS是一套集成基于质谱的蛋白质组分析和生物信息学数据分析能力的组学分析解决方案，为医药和生物领域的基础研究和新药研发提供所需的各类分析服务。近期利用PASS的研究取得了在学术期刊上发表、临床试验计划获得批准等成果，分析数据的质量和定制咨询能力也得到了认可。其中，2月份在《Nature Communications》上发表了利用外泌体疗法治疗急性肝衰竭的研究，3月份在《Advanced Science》上发表了基于PROTAC（PROteolysis-Targeting Chimera）促进骨再生的研究。今年4月，SNI Bio公司的外泌体急性脑梗死治疗药物经过蛋白质表征和质量评估后，在韩国首次获得了食品药品安全部1期临床试验计划的批准。

PASS est une solution d'analyse omique qui intègre des capacités d'analyse du protéome basées sur la spectrométrie de masse et d'analyse de données bioinformatiques, fournissant divers services d'analyse nécessaires à la recherche fondamentale et à la R&D de nouveaux médicaments dans les domaines pharmaceutique et biologique. Des études récentes utilisant PASS ont obtenu des résultats tels que la publication dans des revues universitaires et l’approbation de plans d’essais cliniques, et la qualité des données d’analyse et des capacités de conseil personnalisées sont reconnues. En particulier, une étude sur le traitement de l’insuffisance hépatique aiguë à l’aide de thérapies à base d’exosomes a été publiée dans Nature Communications en février, et une étude sur la promotion de la régénération osseuse basée sur PROTAC (PROteolysis-Targeting Chimera) a été publiée dans Advanced Science en mars. En avril, le traitement de l'infarctus cérébral aigu à base d'exosomes de SNI Bio, qui a fait l'objet d'une caractérisation des protéines et d'une évaluation de la qualité, a reçu l'approbation d'un plan d'essai clinique de phase 1 du ministère de la Sécurité alimentaire et pharmaceutique pour la première fois en Corée.
Park Sung-joon, directeur du PASS Center, a déclaré : « Grâce à notre participation à Bio Korea, nous espérons informer les personnes impliquées dans la recherche fondamentale et la R&D de nouveaux médicaments au pays et à l'étranger des capacités analytiques et des réalisations du PASS, et élargir les possibilités de fournir des services. » Il a ajouté : « Nous continuerons à faire de notre mieux pour mener à bien des projets basés sur des technologies analytiques avancées et des capacités de conseil sur mesure pour le client, et pour grandir ensemble en tant que partenaire clé dans les domaines pharmaceutique et biologique. »
