주차 공간에서 실시간으로 빈 주차면을 안내하는 주차 내비게이션 ‘워치마일 (Watchmile)’ 시스템을 공급하는 ㈜베스텔라랩(대표 정상수)이 금융위원회와 13개 산업 관련 부처가 경제 혁신성장을 이끌어갈 산업별 핵심 중소·중견기업을 선정하는 ‘2025년도 제1차 혁신 프리미어 1000’ 기업에 최종 선정됐다.
베스텔라랩은 국토교통부, 산업통상자원부, 정보통신산업진흥원의 동시 추천을 통해 기술의 혁신성과 성장성을 모두 인정받았다.
‘혁신 프리미어 1000’은 금융과 산업 간의 협업을 통해 산업별 우수기업을 집중 지원하기 위한 프로그램이다. 금융위원회 등 13개 부처가 각 부처별 정책 방향성 등을 감안해 마련한 기준에 따라 혁신성·성장성 있는 중소·중견기업을 선정, 맞춤형 지원을 제공하는 제도다. 선정기업은 정책금융기관의 우수기업별 맞춤형 금융·비금융 지원을 포함, 혁신프리미어 확인증, 연구개발(R&D) 가점, 홍보 지원 등 부처별 특전을 받을 수 있다.
베스텔라랩은 이번 프리미어 1000 선정을 통해 ‘주차 최적화 AI 솔루션’ 기술을 인정받으며, 기술 고도화를 이어가고 있다. 세계 최고 수준 실내 측위 기술이 사용된 베스텔라랩의 ‘워치마일(Watchmile)’은 LLM(Large Language Model)을 사용한 AI 모델을 적용하여 기 구축된 방범용 CCTV 영상만으로도 주차면 점유 현황을 정확하게 분석한다.
이를 통해 실시간 주차현황 및 빈 주차 공간의 위치를 파악하고 이용자의 성향에 맞춘 최적 주차면으로 경로를 안내하는 서비스이다. 현재 서울역, 천호역 등 대형 공영주차장과 킨텍스를 비롯한 대형 전시장, 대규모 주거시설 및 지식산업센터 등에서 워치마일을 서비스 중이다.
이와 더불어 실시간 안전 정보를 자율주행차량에 제공하는 자율주행 V2I 솔루션인 ‘제로크루징 (ZeroCruising)’을 통해 GPS 신호가 닿지 않은 실내 공간에서도 정확한 자율주행 차량의 위치 및 이동 경로를 지원하는 것뿐만 아니라 사각지대의 위험을 즉시 알려주어 자율주행의 안정성 및 보행자의 안전에도 큰 도움을 주는 서비스를 제공 중이다.
