서울특별시가 조성하고 한국과학기술연구원·고려대학교가 공동 운영하는 바이오·의료 창업 지원 플랫폼 서울바이오허브가 국내 대표 바이오 기업 셀트리온과 함께 ‘오픈이노베이션 3기 프로그램’을 시작한다. 참가 기업 모집은 5월 26일부터 오는 6월 30일 오후 2시까지 서울바이오허브 공식 홈페이지를 통해 진행된다.
이번 프로그램은 셀트리온의 기술 수요와 관련하여 협업 가능한 창업 8년 이내의 바이오·의료 스타트업을 대상으로 한다. 지원 대상 기술 분야는 항체, 저분자, 펩타이드, 마이크로바이옴, 세포‧유전자 치료제, 약물전달 플랫폼, 신약개발 플랫폼 등이다. 선정 기업은 약 1년간 오픈이노베이션 육성 프로그램을 지원받으며, 이후 최종 평가회를 통해 셀트리온과의 공동연구 또는 투자 등 실질적 협업 여부가 결정된다.
서울바이오허브와 셀트리온은 지난 1기(2023년), 2기(2024년) 프로그램을 운영해 총 6개 유망 스타트업을 발굴해 지원한 바 있다. 특히 1기 기업 엔테로바이옴은 국내 최초로 일본 간사이 라이프 사이언스 액셀러레이터 프로그램(KLSAP)에서 우승하며 글로벌 진출의 발판을 마련했다. 2기 기업 중 바이오미는 셀트리온과 마이크로바이옴 기반 신약 공동 개발을 위한 지분투자 계약을 체결하며 성장 기반을 확보했다.
이번 3기에는 최대 4개 스타트업을 선정할 예정이다.
오픈이노베이션 프로그램은 셀트리온의 신사업과 연구개발 역량이 스타트업에 직접 연결되는 실질적 협업 플랫폼이라는 점에서 주목된다.
셀트리온은 기업 선발은 물론, 기술, 사업화 전문가 자문, 투자자 및 글로벌 바이오 클러스터 네트워킹 기회 등 ‘골든티켓’ 형태의 맞춤형 육성 패키지를 통해 기업 성장을 지원한다. 서울바이오허브는 창업기업을 위한 입주공간 및 연구시설·장비, 맞춤형 액셀러레이팅, 글로벌 진출 자문 등 사업화 전반에 걸친 지원을 맡는다. 특히 기업의 사업 역량 강화를 위해 바이오 분야 전문 액셀러레이터와 협력하여, 기업별 특성에 맞춤 컨설팅을 집중 지원할 예정이다.
서울바이오허브 김현우 단장은 “이번 3기 프로그램은 국내 유망 스타트업의 글로벌 성장과 셀트리온의 미래기술 확보를 동시에 겨냥한 혁신 사례가 될 것”이라며 “바이오‧의료 분야의 창의적 아이디어를 가진 스타트업의 많은 참여를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

Seoul Bio Hub and Celltrion Recruit 3rd Open Innovation Startup
Seoul Bio Hub, a bio and medical startup support platform established by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and jointly operated by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology and Korea University, is launching the 'Open Innovation 3rd Program' with Celltrion, a leading domestic bio company. Recruitment for participating companies will be held from May 26 to June 30 at 2:00 PM through the Seoul Bio Hub official website.
This program targets bio-medical startups within 8 years of establishment that can collaborate with Celltrion’s technology needs. The technology fields eligible for support include antibodies, small molecules, peptides, microbiomes, cell/gene therapy, drug delivery platforms, and new drug development platforms. The selected companies will receive support for an open innovation fostering program for approximately one year, and then a final evaluation will be held to determine whether to engage in actual collaboration with Celltrion, such as joint research or investment.
Seoul BioHub and Celltrion have operated the 1st (2023) and 2nd (2024) programs to discover and support a total of 6 promising startups. In particular, the 1st company, Enterobiome, became the first Korean company to win the Kansai Life Science Accelerator Program (KLSAP) in Japan, laying the foundation for global expansion. Among the 2nd companies, Biome secured a growth foundation by signing an equity investment contract with Celltrion for joint development of microbiome-based new drugs.
In this third round, we plan to select up to four startups.
The open innovation program is noteworthy in that it is a practical collaboration platform that directly connects Celltrion's new business and R&D capabilities with startups.
Celltrion supports corporate growth through a customized nurturing package in the form of a 'golden ticket' that includes not only corporate selection but also technical and commercialization expert advice, investor and global bio cluster networking opportunities. Seoul Bio Hub provides support for all aspects of commercialization, including space for startups, research facilities and equipment, customized acceleration, and global expansion consulting. In particular, in order to strengthen corporate business capabilities, it plans to focus on providing customized consulting to each company's characteristics in cooperation with specialized bio-industry accelerators.
Kim Hyun-woo, head of Seoul Bio Hub, said, “This third program will be an innovative case that simultaneously aims for the global growth of promising domestic startups and the acquisition of future technologies for Celltrion,” adding, “We look forward to the participation of many startups with creative ideas in the bio and medical fields.”

ソウルバイオハブとセルトリオンは去る1期(2023年)、2期(2024年)プログラムを運営して計6つの有望スタートアップを発掘して支援したことがある。特に第1期企業エンテロバイオムは、韓国初の日本関西ライフサイエンスアクセラレータプログラム（KLSAP）で優勝し、グローバル進出の足場を設けた。第2期企業のうち、バイオミはセルトリオンとマイクロバイオームベースの新薬共同開発のための持分投資契約を締結し、成長基盤を確保した。
今回の3期には最大4つのスタートアップを選定する予定だ。
オープンイノベーションプログラムは、セルトリオンの新事業と研究開発能力がスタートアップに直接つながる実質的なコラボレーションプラットフォームだという点で注目される。
セルトリオンは企業選抜はもちろん、技術、事業化専門家諮問、投資家およびグローバルバイオクラスターネットワーキング機会など「ゴールデンチケット」形態のカスタマイズされた育成パッケージを通じて企業成長を支援する。ソウルバイオハブは創業企業のための入居空間及び研究施設・装備、カスタマイズされたアクセラレーティング、グローバル進出諮問など事業化全般にわたる支援を担当する。特に企業の事業力量強化のため、バイオ分野の専門アクセラレータと協力して、企業別特性に合わせたコンサルティングを集中支援する予定だ。
ソウルバイオハブのキム・ヒョヌ団長は「今回の3期プログラムは国内有望スタートアップのグローバル成長とセルトリオンの未来技術確保を同時に狙った革新事例になるだろう」とし「バイオ‧医療分野の創意的アイデアを持つスタートアップの多くの参加を期待する」と明らかにした。

首尔生物中心和Celltrion招募第三家开放式创新初创公司
由首尔市政府设立、韩国科学技术研究院和高丽大学共同运营的生物医疗初创企业支持平台“首尔生物中心”正在与韩国领先生物企业Celltrion合作启动“开放式创新第三期计划”。参与企业的招募将于5月26日至6月30日下午2点通过首尔生物中心官方网站进行。

Seoul Bio Hub et Celltrion recrutent une troisième startup d'innovation ouverte
Seoul Biohub, une plateforme de soutien aux startups bio et médicales créée par le gouvernement métropolitain de Séoul et exploitée conjointement par l'Institut coréen des sciences et technologies et l'Université de Corée, lance le « 3e programme d'innovation ouverte » avec Celltrion, une entreprise bio nationale de premier plan. Le recrutement des entreprises participantes se déroulera du 26 mai au 30 juin à 14h00 via le site officiel du Seoul Bio Hub.
Ce programme s'adresse aux startups bio et médicales établies depuis moins de 8 ans et pouvant collaborer avec Celltrion en fonction de leurs besoins technologiques. Les domaines technologiques éligibles au soutien comprennent les anticorps, les petites molécules, les peptides, les microbiomes, la thérapie cellulaire/génique, les plateformes d’administration de médicaments et les plateformes de développement de nouveaux médicaments. Les entreprises sélectionnées bénéficieront du soutien du programme de promotion de l'innovation ouverte pendant environ un an, après quoi une évaluation finale sera organisée pour décider s'il convient de s'engager dans une collaboration réelle, telle qu'une recherche conjointe ou un investissement, avec Celltrion.
Seoul Biohub et Celltrion ont déjà géré les 1er (2023) et 2e (2024) programmes, découvrant et soutenant un total de 6 startups prometteuses. En particulier, la première entreprise, Enterobiome, est devenue la première en Corée à remporter le Kansai Life Science Accelerator Program (KLSAP) au Japon, posant ainsi les bases d'une expansion mondiale. Parmi les entreprises de deuxième génération, Biomi a établi une base de croissance en signant un accord d'investissement en actions avec Celltrion pour le développement conjoint de nouveaux médicaments à base de microbiome.
Lors de ce troisième tour, nous prévoyons de sélectionner jusqu’à quatre startups.
Le programme d'innovation ouverte est remarquable dans la mesure où il s'agit d'une plateforme de collaboration pratique qui relie directement les nouvelles capacités commerciales et de R&D de Celltrion aux startups.
Celltrion soutient la croissance des entreprises grâce à un package de développement personnalisé sous la forme d'un « ticket d'or » qui comprend la sélection d'entreprises, des conseils d'experts en technologie et en commercialisation, ainsi que des opportunités de réseautage avec des investisseurs et des clusters biologiques mondiaux. Seoul Bio Hub fournit un soutien pour tous les aspects de la commercialisation, y compris l'espace pour les startups, les installations et équipements de recherche, l'accélération personnalisée et le conseil en expansion mondiale. En particulier, afin de renforcer les capacités commerciales des entreprises, nous prévoyons de nous concentrer sur la fourniture de conseils adaptés aux caractéristiques de chaque entreprise en coopérant avec des accélérateurs spécialisés dans le domaine biologique.
