천연물 기반 의약품 개발 기업 ㈜비체담이 지난달 26일 서울 용산구 서울드래곤시티에서 열린 ‘2025 농식품 기술투자 로드쇼’에 참가해 첫 건강기능식품 시제품을 공개했다.
㈜비체담은 생약 성분을 활용한 퇴행성 질환 치료제 및 건강기능식품 개발에 집중하는 바이오 스타트업이다. 이번 행사에서 회사는 수면 중 발생하는 하지 근 경련 완화와 혈행 개선에 도움을 줄 수 있는 액상형 건강기능식품 시제품을 처음 선보였다.
해당 제품은 ㈜비체담의 핵심 기술인 생약 성분 기반 ROCK(Rho-associated protein kinase) 저해제 기전을 적용해 개발됐으며, 노인 환자의 장기 복용에 적합하도록 안전성과 복용 편의성을 높이는 데 중점을 뒀다. 제품은 오는 8월 출시를 목표로 최종 품질 검증과 인증 절차가 진행 중이다.
행사 현장에서 ㈜비체담은 송미령 농림축산식품부 장관 등 참석자들에게 자사의 기술력과 개발 성과를 소개하며, 고령화 사회에서 증가하는 퇴행성 질환 문제 해결을 위한 비전을 공유했다.

Bichedam participates in the '2025 Agricultural and Food Technology Investment Road Show'
On the 26th of last month, Vichedam Co., Ltd., a natural product-based pharmaceutical development company, participated in the '2025 Agricultural and Food Technology Investment Roadshow' held at Seoul Dragon City in Yongsan-gu, Seoul and unveiled its first health functional food prototype.
Bichedam Co., Ltd. is a bio startup that focuses on developing degenerative disease treatments and health functional foods using herbal ingredients. At this event, the company introduced a prototype of a liquid health functional food that can help relieve lower extremity muscle cramps and improve blood circulation during sleep.
The product was developed by applying the ROCK (Rho-associated protein kinase) inhibitor mechanism based on herbal ingredients, which is the core technology of Bichedam Co., Ltd., and focused on improving safety and ease of use so that it is suitable for long-term use by elderly patients. The product is currently undergoing final quality verification and certification procedures with the goal of launching in August.
At the event, Bichedam Co., Ltd. introduced its technological prowess and development achievements to attendees including Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Song Mei-ling, and shared its vision for solving the problem of degenerative diseases that are on the rise in an aging society.

Bichedam Co., Ltd. est une start-up bio spécialisée dans le développement de traitements contre les maladies dégénératives et d'aliments fonctionnels santé à base d'ingrédients à base de plantes. Lors de cet événement, l'entreprise a présenté un prototype d'aliment fonctionnel liquide santé capable de soulager les crampes musculaires des membres inférieurs et d'améliorer la circulation sanguine pendant le sommeil.
