제주창조경제혁신센터는 지난 5일 스파크랩 코리아 및 스파크랩 타이완과 아시아 스타트업 생태계 협력 강화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 한국과 대만 간 스타트업 및 투자 교류를 활성화하고, 실질적인 공동 성장을 도모하기 위한 목적으로 마련됐다. 세 기관은 협약을 통해 대만과 한국 스타트업 간의 매칭과 교류를 촉진하고, 혁신 기술 및 사업 모델에 대한 개념 검증(PoC)을 공동으로 추진하기로 했다. 또한 양국의 투자자 네트워크를 연결하고 투자 유치 기회를 함께 모색하는 한편, 생태계 활성화를 위한 공동 행사와 플랫폼 운영에도 협력할 방침이다.
제주센터는 이번 협약을 통해 대만과 한국을 잇는 스타트업 허브로서의 역할을 강화할 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다. 이를 통해 각 지역 스타트업이 해외 진출 기회를 확대하고 글로벌 투자 유치 역량을 높일 수 있는 기반이 마련될 것으로 보고 있다.
업무협약을 체결한 스파크랩은 2012년 설립된 글로벌 액셀러레이터로, 한국을 비롯해 미국, 사우디아라비아, 대만 등지에서 초기 단계 스타트업의 성장을 지원하고 있다. 폭넓은 글로벌 네트워크를 바탕으로 스타트업의 해외 진출과 투자 유치 활동을 돕고 있으며, 다양한 산업 분야에 걸쳐 창업 생태계 조성에 기여하고 있다.
이병선 제주센터 대표는 “이번 협약을 통해 제주 스타트업의 글로벌 연결을 위한 중요한 다리를 놓게 됐다”며 “국내외 파트너와의 협력을 통해 제주 스타트업들이 글로벌 시장으로 도약하고 더 많은 투자 기회를 확보할 수 있도록 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center and Sparklab Sign Business Agreement
Jeju Center for Creative Economy and Innovation announced on the 5th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with SparkLabs Korea and SparkLabs Taiwan to strengthen cooperation in the Asian startup ecosystem.
This agreement was made to promote startup and investment exchanges between Korea and Taiwan and to promote practical joint growth. Through the agreement, the three organizations agreed to promote matching and exchanges between Taiwanese and Korean startups and jointly pursue proof of concept (PoC) for innovative technologies and business models. They also plan to connect investor networks in both countries and jointly seek investment attraction opportunities, while also cooperating on joint events and platform operations to activate the ecosystem.
Jeju Center expects that this agreement will strengthen its role as a startup hub connecting Taiwan and Korea. It also expects that this will provide a foundation for each region’s startups to expand overseas expansion opportunities and enhance their ability to attract global investment.
SparkLabs, which signed the business agreement, is a global accelerator established in 2012 that supports the growth of early-stage startups in Korea, the US, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, and other countries. Based on its extensive global network, it helps startups expand overseas and attract investment, and contributes to the creation of a startup ecosystem across various industries.
Lee Byeong-seon, the head of the Jeju Center, said, “Through this agreement, we have laid an important bridge for global connection of Jeju startups,” and “We will continue to work with domestic and international partners to help Jeju startups leap into the global market and secure more investment opportunities.”

済州創造経済革新センターは５日、スパークラップコリア及びスパークラップ台湾とアジアスタートアップ生態系協力強化のための業務協約（ＭＯＵ）を締結したと明らかにした。

Le Centre d'innovation de l'économie créative de Jeju et Sparklab signent un accord commercial
Le Centre de Jeju pour l'économie créative et l'innovation a annoncé le 5 avoir signé un accord commercial (MOU) avec SparkLabs Korea et SparkLabs Taiwan pour renforcer la coopération dans l'écosystème des startups asiatiques.
Cet accord vise à promouvoir les échanges de startups et d'investissements entre la Corée et Taïwan, ainsi qu'à favoriser une croissance conjointe concrète. Par cet accord, les trois organisations s'engagent à favoriser la mise en relation et les échanges entre startups taïwanaises et coréennes et à mener conjointement des démonstrations de faisabilité (PoC) de technologies et de modèles économiques innovants. Elles prévoient également de connecter les réseaux d'investisseurs des deux pays et de rechercher conjointement des opportunités d'investissement, tout en collaborant sur des événements et des plateformes communs pour dynamiser l'écosystème.
Le Jeju Center espère que cet accord renforcera son rôle de pôle de startups reliant Taïwan et la Corée. Il espère également que cela permettra aux startups de chaque région de développer leurs opportunités d'expansion à l'international et d'améliorer leur capacité à attirer des investissements internationaux.
SparkLabs, signataire de l'accord commercial, est un accélérateur mondial créé en 2012 qui soutient la croissance des startups en phase de démarrage en Corée, aux États-Unis, en Arabie saoudite, à Taïwan et dans d'autres pays. Grâce à son vaste réseau mondial, il aide les startups à se développer à l'international et à attirer des investissements, et contribue à la création d'un écosystème de startups dans divers secteurs.
