나무기술(대표 정철)이 사명 변경을 추진하며 AI 전문기업으로의 전환을 공식화했다. 회사는 오는 9월 10일 임시주주총회에서 사명 ‘나무AI.X(Namu AI.X)’ 변경 안건을 최종 의결할 예정이다.
새 사명 ‘AI.X’는 AI 기술을 기반으로 고객 비즈니스 경험에 확장된 가치를 제공하겠다는 의미를 담고 있으며, 나무기술의 AI 중심 사업 전환 전략을 명확히 반영한다. 회사는 자체 클라우드 솔루션과 현재 개발 중인 AI 플랫폼을 결합해 AI 서비스 중심 사업을 확대할 계획이다.
나무기술은 생성형 AI 분석 환경, 대규모 데이터 처리, 인공지능 기반 자동화 등 다양한 프로젝트를 수행하며 산업 현장에 적합한 AI 적용 경험을 쌓아왔다. 클라우드 네이티브 PaaS ‘칵테일 클라우드’와 멀티·하이브리드 클라우드 통합 관리 플랫폼 ‘스페로(SPERO)’를 기반으로 금융, 공공, 미디어, 제조 분야에서 디지털 전환과 AI 인프라 도입을 지원해왔다.

나무기술은 자체 AI 에이전트 플랫폼 ‘Namu Agent Platform’을 개발 중이며, 이를 통해 기업이 외부 기술에 의존하지 않고 독립적인 AI 서비스를 운영할 수 있도록 풀스택 기술 체계를 고도화할 예정이다. 해당 플랫폼은 AI 모델 실행, 에이전트 구성, 서비스 운영을 단일 구조 내에서 구현할 수 있어 고객의 AI 도입 및 활용 편의성을 높인다는 점에서 차별화된다. 하반기 정식 출시가 예정돼 있다.

Namu Technology (CEO Jeong Cheol) has formalized its transformation into an AI specialized company by promoting a company name change. The company plans to make a final decision on the agenda to change the company name to 'Namu AI.X' at the extraordinary general shareholders' meeting on September 10.
The new mission, 'AI.X', carries the meaning of providing expanded value to customer business experience based on AI technology, and clearly reflects NamuTech's AI-centered business transformation strategy.
