비전 AI 전문기업 ㈜메사쿠어컴퍼니와 초저전력 ACiM(Analog Computing In Memory) 기반 AI SoC 개발업체 ㈜아이에이치더블유는 보안용 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어 통합 솔루션 개발을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 30일 밝혔다.
양사는 이번 협약을 통해 얼굴인식 AI 알고리즘과 초저전력 AI 칩 기술을 접목한 통합 솔루션의 공동 연구·개발을 추진하며, 관련 PoC(기술 검증) 프로젝트 및 정부 과제 수행, 국내외 고객사 발굴 등 다양한 영역에서 협력을 강화할 예정이다.
협력 분야는 스마트도어 등 IoT 및 에지 디바이스를 중심으로 한 하드웨어·소프트웨어 공동 기획과 개발로 확대된다. 기술 분담 측면에서 아이에이치더블유는 ACiM 기반 AI SoC 및 하드웨어 설계를 전담하고, 메사쿠어컴퍼니는 얼굴인식 AI 알고리즘 개발과 관련 소프트웨어 기술 공급을 맡는다.
아이에이치더블유는 영상 및 음성 인식을 위한 초저전력 아날로그 AI 칩 개발을 진행 중이며, 2026년에는 AA 배터리로 수개월간 작동 가능한 AI SoC를 출시하고, 2027년부터 본격적인 양산에 돌입할 계획이다. 해당 기술은 전력 효율과 실시간 처리 성능을 바탕으로 모바일 및 IoT 중심의 에지 디바이스 시장에서 주목받고 있다.
메사쿠어컴퍼니는 자체 개발한 얼굴인식 AI 솔루션 ‘UFACE’를 통해 금융, 공공, 교육 등 다양한 분야에 기술을 상용화해 왔다. 특히 국내 금융권 최초의 얼굴인증 로그인 시스템 구축과 국가 모바일 신분증 사업 참여 등으로 얼굴인식 기반 보안 기술의 상용화 경험을 보유하고 있다.

Mesacure Company , a vision AI specialist, and IHW, a developer of ultra-low power ACiM (Analog Computing In Memory)-based AI SoCs, announced on the 30th that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to develop integrated hardware and software solutions for security.
Through this agreement, the two companies will pursue joint research and development of integrated solutions that combine facial recognition AI algorithms with ultra-low-power AI chip technology, and strengthen cooperation in various areas such as carrying out related PoC (proof of concept) projects, government projects, and discovering domestic and international customers.

IHW is developing an ultra-low-power analog AI chip for image and voice recognition. It plans to launch an AI SoC capable of operating for several months on a single AA battery in 2026, with full-scale mass production beginning in 2027. This technology is attracting attention in the mobile and IoT-focused edge device market, fueled by its power efficiency and real-time processing performance.
Mesacure Company has commercialized its proprietary facial recognition AI solution, "UFACE," across various sectors, including finance, the public sector, and education. Notably, the company has extensive experience commercializing facial recognition-based security technology, including establishing the first facial authentication login system in the domestic financial sector and participating in the national mobile ID card project.
