라온시큐어의 자회사인 라온메타(대표 이순형)는 IT 교육 콘텐츠 전문기업 아고라스(대표 장진호)와 ‘인공지능(AI) 기반 IT 실습 콘텐츠 협력을 위한 업무협약(MOU)’을 체결하고, 자사의 메타버스 기반 실습 플랫폼 ‘메타데미’의 IT 콘텐츠 라인업을 확대한다고 31일 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 AI 기술 수요 증가에 대응해, 개발자들이 실무에 바로 적용할 수 있는 실습 환경을 강화하기 위한 목적이다. 최근 정부가 발표한 100조 원 규모의 AI 산업 육성 정책 등으로 관련 기술의 활용이 전 산업에 걸쳐 확산되고 있으며, 이에 따라 AI 소프트웨어 개발자를 포함한 IT 인재에 대한 수요도 빠르게 증가하고 있다.
라온메타는 이번 협력을 통해 메타버스 기반 실습 플랫폼 ‘메타데미’에 아고라스가 보유한 AI 기반 소프트웨어 개발 콘텐츠를 통합할 계획이다. 콘텐츠는 기초부터 고급 과정까지 폭넓은 수준으로 구성되며, 실습 중심의 교육을 통해 사용자들이 실전 감각을 익힐 수 있도록 설계된다. 양사는 향후 지속적인 협력을 통해 AI 시대에 적합한 IT 인재 양성에 공동으로 기여할 방침이다.
‘메타데미’는 간호술기, 물리치료, 기초과학 등 다양한 분야의 실습 콘텐츠를 제공하고 있으며, 실험동물 부검 실습 등 일부 콘텐츠는 세계 최초 사례로 주목받고 있다. B2B 전용으로 제공되던 콘텐츠는 최근 B2C로도 확대되고 있으며, 다국어 기능을 탑재해 글로벌 진출 기반도 마련 중이다. 라온메타는 이번 협약을 계기로 IT 분야 실습 콘텐츠를 더욱 강화해 다양한 산업군의 실습 수요에 대응할 계획이다.
한편, 협약 파트너인 아고라스는 IT 및 이공계 교육에 특화된 콘텐츠와 서비스를 제공하는 기업으로, ‘긱하우스’, ‘코드프렌즈’, ‘튜터플로우’, ‘긱잉글리시’, ‘잼토픽’ 등 교육 플랫폼과 솔루션을 운영 중이다. 주요 대기업을 대상으로도 다양한 서비스를 공급하고 있다.

Content originally offered exclusively for B2B has recently expanded to B2C, and multilingual functionality is also being implemented to lay the foundation for global expansion. With this agreement, Raon Meta plans to further strengthen its IT-related practical content to meet the needs of diverse industries.
Meanwhile, our partner, Agoras, provides content and services specialized in IT and science and engineering education. It operates educational platforms and solutions such as Geek House, Code Friends, Tutorflow, Geek English, and Jam Topic. It also provides various services to major corporations.
