AI 테크 기업 크라우드웍스는 31일 한국산업지능화협회(KOIIA)와 제조 산업에 특화된 AI 에이전트 평가·인증 체계 구축을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약을 통해 양 기관은 제조 특화 AI 에이전트 평가 인프라의 공동 기획 및 운영, 실환경 기반 표준 데이터셋 구축 및 검증, 신뢰성·성능·공정성에 대한 정량 평가 수행, 그리고 평가·인증 체계 및 데이터 표준 구축 등 AI 기술 신뢰성 확보와 제조산업 AI 생태계 조성을 위한 다양한 협력 활동을 추진할 예정이다. 크라우드웍스는 자체 개발한 AI 평가 솔루션 ‘Alpy Evaluation(알피 이밸류에이션)’을 활용할 계획이다.
이번 협약은 제조 산업 경쟁력 강화를 위한 AI 기술 도입 가속화와 함께, 제조 환경의 복잡성과 특수성을 반영한 객관적이고 신뢰할 수 있는 산업 맞춤형 평가·인증 체계 마련을 목표로 한다. 기존 범용 AI 평가 방식은 제조 환경의 특수성을 충분히 반영하지 못해 실제 현장에서 요구되는 성능 검증에 한계가 있었던 것으로 알려졌다.
이에 따라 양 기관은 제조 산업 특성에 맞는 정량적 평가 기준과 실환경 기반 검증 체계를 통해 AI 기술에 대한 신뢰도를 높이고, 산업 전반의 AI 도입 확산을 지원할 방침이다.
특히 이번 협약은 정부의 AI 팩토리 사업 등 정책 방향과도 연계된다. 산업통상자원부는 2030년까지 AI 적용 제조 현장을 100개 이상으로 확대하고 범용 제조용 AI 파운데이션 모델을 개발할 계획이다. 양 기관은 이와 같은 정부 사업과의 협력을 통해 국내 제조 산업 내 AI 성능 평가·인증 기반 구축에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
크라우드웍스 김우승 대표는 “AI 성능 검증에는 모델 정확도뿐 아니라 산업 현장에 특화된 평가 항목이 필수적”이라며, “양 기관의 전문성과 산업 통찰을 결합해 제조 산업 특화 AI 평가의 새로운 기준을 제시하겠다”고 말했다.

Crowdworks Signs Business Agreement with the Korea Industrial Intelligence Association
AI tech company Crowdworks announced on the 31st that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Industrial Intelligence Association (KOIIA) to establish an AI agent evaluation and certification system specialized for the manufacturing industry.
Through this agreement, the two organizations will pursue various collaborative activities to secure AI technology reliability and foster an AI ecosystem in the manufacturing industry. These activities include joint planning and operation of a manufacturing-specific AI agent evaluation infrastructure; building and verifying a standard dataset based on real environments; conducting quantitative evaluations of reliability, performance, and fairness; and establishing an evaluation and certification system and data standards. Crowdworks plans to utilize its proprietary AI evaluation solution, "Alpy Evaluation."
This agreement aims to accelerate the adoption of AI technology to strengthen the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry, while also establishing an objective and reliable, industry-tailored evaluation and certification system that reflects the complexity and uniqueness of the manufacturing environment. Existing general-purpose AI evaluation methods have reportedly failed to adequately reflect the unique characteristics of the manufacturing environment, limiting their ability to verify performance in real-world applications.
Accordingly, the two organizations plan to increase the reliability of AI technology and support the expansion of AI adoption across industries through quantitative evaluation criteria and a real-world verification system tailored to the characteristics of the manufacturing industry.
This agreement is particularly aligned with the government's policy direction, including its AI Factory initiative. The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy plans to expand AI-based manufacturing sites to over 100 by 2030 and develop an AI foundation model for general-purpose manufacturing. Through collaboration with this government initiative, both organizations expect to contribute to establishing a foundation for AI performance evaluation and certification within the domestic manufacturing industry.
Crowdworks CEO Wooseung Kim said, “AI performance verification requires not only model accuracy but also evaluation items specific to the industrial field,” adding, “By combining the expertise and industry insights of both organizations, we will present a new standard for AI evaluation specialized in the manufacturing industry.”

これにより、両機関は製造産業特性に合った定量的評価基準と実環境ベースの検証体系を通じてAI技術に対する信頼性を高め、産業全体のAI導入拡散を支援する方針だ。
特に今回の協約は政府のAIファクトリー事業など政策方向とも連携される。
クラウドワークスのキム・ウスン代表は「AI性能検証にはモデル精度だけでなく産業現場に特化した評価項目が必須」とし、「両機関の専門性と産業洞察を組み合わせて製造産業特化AI評価の新たな基準を提示する」と述べた。

Grâce à cet accord, les deux organisations mèneront diverses activités collaboratives afin de garantir la fiabilité des technologies d'IA et de favoriser un écosystème d'IA dans le secteur manufacturier. Ces activités comprennent la planification et l'exploitation conjointes d'une infrastructure d'évaluation d'agents d'IA spécifique au secteur manufacturier ; la création et la vérification d'un ensemble de données standard basé sur des environnements réels ; la réalisation d'évaluations quantitatives de la fiabilité, des performances et de l'équité ; et l'établissement d'un système d'évaluation et de certification ainsi que de normes de données. Crowdworks prévoit d'utiliser sa solution propriétaire d'évaluation d'IA, « Alpy Evaluation ».
Cet accord vise à accélérer l'adoption de l'IA afin de renforcer la compétitivité du secteur manufacturier, tout en établissant un système d'évaluation et de certification objectif et fiable, adapté à chaque secteur et reflétant la complexité et la spécificité de l'environnement manufacturier. Les méthodes d'évaluation de l'IA à usage général existantes ne refléteraient pas adéquatement les spécificités de l'environnement manufacturier, limitant ainsi leur capacité à vérifier les performances dans des applications concrètes.
En conséquence, les deux organisations prévoient d’accroître la fiabilité de la technologie de l’IA et de soutenir l’expansion de l’adoption de l’IA dans tous les secteurs grâce à des critères d’évaluation quantitatifs et à un système de vérification du monde réel adapté aux caractéristiques de l’industrie manufacturière.
Cet accord s'inscrit parfaitement dans la stratégie gouvernementale, notamment son initiative « Usine IA ». Le ministère du Commerce, de l'Industrie et de l'Énergie prévoit de porter le nombre de sites de production basés sur l'IA à plus de 100 d'ici 2030 et de développer un modèle de base pour l'IA destinée à la fabrication polyvalente. Grâce à cette collaboration, les deux organisations espèrent contribuer à l'établissement d'un socle pour l'évaluation et la certification des performances de l'IA au sein de l'industrie manufacturière nationale.
Wooseung Kim, PDG de Crowdworks, a déclaré : « La vérification des performances de l'IA nécessite non seulement la précision du modèle, mais également des éléments d'évaluation spécifiques au domaine industriel », ajoutant : « En combinant l'expertise et les connaissances sectorielles des deux organisations, nous présenterons une nouvelle norme pour l'évaluation de l'IA spécialisée dans l'industrie manufacturière. »
