지능형 로봇 서비스 플랫폼 기업 뉴빌리티(NEUBILITY, 대표 이상민)가 산업통상자원부와 한국산업기술기획평가원이 공동 추진하는 ‘K-휴머노이드 연합’에 신규 참여 기업으로 선정됐다고 5일 밝혔다.
‘K-휴머노이드 연합’은 정부가 2030년까지 세계 최고 수준의 인간형 로봇 기술 확보를 목표로 올해 4월 출범한 산·학·연 협력체로, 서울대, KAIST, 연세대, 포스텍 등 주요 연구기관과 함께 삼성전자, LG전자, SK, 포스코, HD현대로보틱스, 레인보우로보틱스 등 다수의 민간 기업이 참여하고 있다.
뉴빌리티는 이번 연합 참여를 계기로 자체 보유한 자율주행 기술과 ‘피지컬 AI’ 융합 역량을 기반으로, 실용적 활용이 가능한 산업형 휴머노이드 개발에 나설 계획이다.
회사 측은 기존 실외 자율주행 로봇 ‘뉴비’를 통해 검증된 기술을 바탕으로, 센서 융합, 경로 생성, 비전 인식 등 주요 모듈을 고도화해 자율이동이 가능한 인간형 로봇 개발에 적용할 방침이다. 특히 실제 산업 현장에서 바로 활용할 수 있는 형태의 로봇을 구현하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.
또한 뉴빌리티는 현재 운영 중인 RaaS(로봇-as-a-Service) 플랫폼을 활용해, 휴머노이드의 원격 제어, 실시간 모니터링, 다중 로봇 운용 기능을 클라우드 기반으로 지원할 수 있는 시스템 개발에도 참여한다. 이를 통해 휴머노이드의 현장 실증과 상용화를 함께 추진할 예정이다.
뉴빌리티는 이와 같은 기술 기반을 토대로 복잡한 산업 환경에 적합한 맞춤형 휴머노이드 솔루션을 개발하고, 실내외 물류 및 보안, 순찰, 안내 등의 분야에 적용 가능한 로봇 상용화에 속도를 낼 계획이다.
이상민 대표는 “이번 연합 참여는 당사가 보유한 자율주행 및 AI 기술을 기반으로 인간형 로봇 분야로 사업 영역을 확장하는 중요한 전환점”이라며 “향후 피지컬 AI 기술을 활용한 산업용 휴머노이드 개발과 시장 진입에 적극 나설 예정”이라고 말했다.

Newbility Selected as Participating Company in the K-Humanoid Alliance
Intelligent robot service platform company NEUBILITY (CEO Sangmin Lee) announced on the 5th that it has been selected as a new participating company in the 'K-Humanoid Alliance' jointly promoted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology Evaluation and Planning.
The 'K-Humanoid Alliance' is a cooperative body of industry, academia, and research institutes launched by the government in April of this year with the goal of securing world-class humanoid robot technology by 2030. Major research institutes such as Seoul National University, KAIST, Yonsei University, and POSTECH, as well as numerous private companies such as Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, SK, POSCO, HD Hyundai Robotics, and Rainbow Robotics are participating.
With this alliance, Newbility plans to develop an industrial humanoid with practical applications based on its autonomous driving technology and its "physical AI" fusion capabilities.
Building on the technology proven through its existing outdoor autonomous robot, "Newbee," the company plans to develop a humanoid robot capable of autonomous movement by enhancing key modules such as sensor fusion, path generation, and vision recognition. Specifically, the company aims to create a robot that can be used immediately in actual industrial settings.
Furthermore, Newbility will leverage its existing RaaS (Robot-as-a-Service) platform to develop a cloud-based system capable of supporting remote control, real-time monitoring, and multi-robot operation of humanoids. Through this, the company plans to simultaneously pursue field demonstrations and commercialization of humanoids.
Building on this technological foundation, Newbility plans to develop customized humanoid solutions suitable for complex industrial environments and accelerate the commercialization of robots applicable to indoor and outdoor logistics, security, patrol, and guidance.
CEO Lee Sang-min said, “This alliance participation marks a significant turning point for us to expand our business into the humanoid robot field based on our autonomous driving and AI technologies,” and added, “We plan to actively pursue the development of industrial humanoids utilizing physical AI technology and enter the market in the future.”

同社側は、既存の屋外自律走行ロボット「ニュービー」を通じて検証された技術をもとに、センサ融合、経路生成、ビジョン認識などの主要モジュールを高度化し、自律移動が可能な人間型ロボットの開発に適用する方針だ。特に、実際の産業現場ですぐに活用できる形のロボットを実装することを目指している。
また、ニュービリティは現在運営中のRaaS(Robot-as-a-Service)プラットフォームを活用し、ヒューマノイドのリモート制御、リアルタイムモニタリング、マルチロボット運用機能をクラウドベースでサポートできるシステム開発にも参加する。これによりヒューマノイドの現場実証と商用化を共に推進する予定だ。
ニュービリティは、このような技術基盤に基づいて複雑な産業環境に適したカスタマイズされたヒューマノイドソリューションを開発し、室内外の物流やセキュリティ、パトロール、案内などの分野に適用可能なロボットの商用化にスピードを出す計画だ。

Newbility 被选为 K-Humanoid Alliance 的参与公司
智能机器人服务平台公司NEUBILITY（代表：李相民）5日宣布，被选为由韩国产业通商资源部与韩国产业技术评估规划院共同推进的“K-人形机器人联盟”的新加入公司。
“K-人形机器人联盟”是政府于今年 4 月启动的产学研合作组织，目标是到 2030 年确保人形机器人技术达到世界一流水平。首尔国立大学、韩国科学技术研究院、延世大学和浦项科技大学等主要研究机构，以及三星电子、LG 电子、SK、浦项制铁、HD 现代机器人和 Rainbow Robotics 等众多私营公司都参与其中。
通过此次联盟，Newbility计划基于其自动驾驶技术及其“物理AI”融合能力，开发具有实际应用的工业人形机器人。
该公司计划以现有的户外自主机器人“Newbee”已验证的技术为基础，通过增强传感器融合、路径生成、视觉识别等关键模块，开发能够自主移动的人形机器人。具体而言，该公司的目标是打造一款可立即投入实际工业环境使用的机器人。

La société de plate-forme de services de robots intelligents NEUBILITY (PDG Sangmin Lee) a annoncé le 5 qu'elle avait été sélectionnée comme nouvelle société participante à la « K-Humanoid Alliance » promue conjointement par le ministère du Commerce, de l'Industrie et de l'Énergie et l'Institut coréen d'évaluation et de planification des technologies industrielles.
La « K-Humanoid Alliance » est un organisme coopératif d'industries, d'universités et d'instituts de recherche lancé par le gouvernement en avril de cette année dans le but de garantir une technologie de robot humanoïde de classe mondiale d'ici 2030. De grands instituts de recherche tels que l'Université nationale de Séoul, KAIST, l'Université Yonsei et POSTECH, ainsi que de nombreuses entreprises privées telles que Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, SK, POSCO, HD Hyundai Robotics et Rainbow Robotics y participent.
Avec cette alliance, Newbility prévoit de développer un humanoïde industriel avec des applications pratiques basées sur sa technologie de conduite autonome et ses capacités de fusion « IA physique ».
S'appuyant sur la technologie éprouvée de son robot autonome d'extérieur « Newbee », l'entreprise prévoit de développer un robot humanoïde capable de se déplacer de manière autonome en améliorant des modules clés tels que la fusion de capteurs, la génération de trajectoires et la reconnaissance visuelle. Plus précisément, l'entreprise vise à créer un robot immédiatement utilisable en milieu industriel réel.
Par ailleurs, Newbility s'appuiera sur sa plateforme RaaS (Robot-as-a-Service) existante pour développer un système cloud capable de prendre en charge le contrôle à distance, la surveillance en temps réel et le fonctionnement multi-robots d'humanoïdes. L'entreprise prévoit ainsi de poursuivre simultanément les démonstrations sur le terrain et la commercialisation d'humanoïdes.
S'appuyant sur cette base technologique, Newbility prévoit de développer des solutions humanoïdes personnalisées adaptées aux environnements industriels complexes et d'accélérer la commercialisation de robots applicables à la logistique intérieure et extérieure, à la sécurité, à la patrouille et au guidage.
Le PDG Lee Sang-min a déclaré : « Cette participation à l'alliance marque un tournant important pour nous afin d'étendre nos activités dans le domaine des robots humanoïdes basés sur nos technologies de conduite autonome et d'IA », et a ajouté : « Nous prévoyons de poursuivre activement le développement d'humanoïdes industriels utilisant la technologie de l'IA physique et d'entrer sur le marché à l'avenir. »
