서울시와 IBK기업은행이 국내외 투자자와 연계하는 IR 행사인 ‘데모데이 with IBK기업은행’을 통해 AI 기반 핀테크 유망기업 발굴 및 육성에 나선다.
‘서울핀테크위크 2025’의 핵심 프로그램인 이번 데모데이는 9월 29일부터 10월 1일까지 여의도 콘래드 호텔 등에서 개최된다. 이에 앞서 서울시는 8월 4일부터 18일까지 혁신적인 AI·핀테크 스타트업 참가자를 모집한다.
데모데이는 기술 실증(Proof of Concept), 시장 진출, 스케일업 등 전 과정을 지원하는 IR 특화 프로그램으로, 2022년부터 서울시와 IBK기업은행이 공동 주최해 점차 참여 기업 수를 확대해왔다. 올해는 송금결제, 인슈어테크, 자산관리, 해외송금 등 다양한 분야에서 AI 기술을 보유한 12개사를 선발해 IR 컨설팅(9월 1~26일)도 제공한다.
선발된 기업은 데모데이 행사에서 국내외 투자자 및 기업 파트너를 대상으로 핵심 기술과 비즈니스 모델을 발표한다. 행사 후 심사위원 평가와 현장 투표를 통해 우수기업 3개사를 선정해 ‘서울핀테크혁신상’, ‘IBK특별상’, ‘인기상’을 수여할 예정이다.
지난해 데모데이에 참여한 AI 핀테크 기업 ‘크로스허브’는 CES 참가를 확정하는 등 글로벌 진출 성과를 거둔 바 있다. 크로스허브 김재설 대표는 “금융사와의 1:1 미팅을 통해 기술 실증 및 투자 유치 성과를 냈다”며 올해 데모데이 참가 의지를 밝혔다.
올해는 투자기관과 금융기관의 참여 규모도 전년 대비 확대돼 발표기업의 투자 유치 가능성이 높아질 것으로 기대된다.
참가 신청은 8월 4일부터 18일까지 스타트업플러스를 통해 가능하며, 자세한 내용은 서울핀테크랩 공식 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있다.
서울시 경제일자리기획관 이준형 담당관은 “AI 기술 중심의 핀테크 산업은 미래 금융산업의 핵심 분야”라며 “이번 데모데이 행사가 디지털금융 생태계 활성화에 기여하고 미래를 이끌 혁신 기업 발굴에 중요한 역할을 할 것”이라고 말했다.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government and IBK Industrial Bank of Korea will launch "Demo Day with IBK Industrial Bank," an investor relations event connecting domestic and international investors, to discover and foster promising AI-based fintech companies.
This year's Demo Day, a key program of "Seoul Fintech Week 2025," will be held from September 29th to October 1st at venues such as the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido. Prior to this, the Seoul Metropolitan Government will be recruiting participants from innovative AI and fintech startups from August 4th to 18th.
Demo Day is a specialized IR program that supports the entire process, from technology validation (Proof of Concept), market entry, and scale-up. Since 2022, it has been co-hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, and the number of participating companies has steadily increased. This year, 12 companies with AI technologies in various fields, including remittance payments, insurtech, asset management, and overseas remittance, have been selected, and IR consulting (September 1-26) will also be provided.
The selected companies will present their core technologies and business models to domestic and international investors and corporate partners at a Demo Day event. Following the event, three outstanding companies will be selected through a panel of judges and on-site voting, and will be awarded the "Seoul Fintech Innovation Award," "IBK Special Award," and "Popularity Award."
CrossHub, an AI fintech company that participated in last year's Demo Day, has already achieved success in global expansion, including securing participation at CES. CrossHub CEO Kim Jae-seol stated, "Through one-on-one meetings with financial institutions, we have successfully demonstrated our technology and attracted investment," and expressed his intention to participate in this year's Demo Day.
This year, the participation of investment and financial institutions is expected to increase compared to last year, increasing the likelihood of companies announcing the investment.
Applications for participation are available from August 4th to 18th through Startup Plus , and further details can be found on the Seoul Fintech Lab official website .
Lee Jun-hyung, an official at the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Economic and Job Planning Division, said, "The AI-centric fintech industry is a key sector of the future financial industry," adding, "This Demo Day event will contribute to the revitalization of the digital finance ecosystem and play a significant role in discovering innovative companies that will lead the future."

Depuis 2022, il est co-organisé par le gouvernement métropolitain de Séoul et IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, et le nombre d'entreprises participantes ne cesse d'augmenter. Cette année, 12 entreprises proposant des technologies d'IA dans divers domaines, notamment les paiements de transfert d'argent, l'insurtech, la gestion d'actifs et les transferts de fonds internationaux, ont été sélectionnées. Un service de conseil en relations avec les investisseurs (du 1er au 26 septembre) sera également proposé.
Les entreprises sélectionnées présenteront leurs technologies clés et leurs modèles économiques à des investisseurs et partenaires nationaux et internationaux lors d'une journée de démonstration. À l'issue de cette journée, trois entreprises exceptionnelles seront sélectionnées par un jury et un vote sur place. Elles recevront le « Seoul Fintech Innovation Award », le « IBK Special Award » et le « Popularity Award ».
CrossHub, une fintech spécialisée dans l'IA, qui a participé au Demo Day l'année dernière, a déjà connu un développement international réussi, notamment en participant au CES. Kim Jae-seol, PDG de CrossHub, a déclaré : « Grâce à des rencontres individuelles avec des institutions financières, nous avons démontré notre technologie avec succès et attiré des investissements », et a exprimé son intention de participer au Demo Day de cette année.
Cette année, la participation des institutions d’investissement et financières devrait augmenter par rapport à l’année dernière, augmentant ainsi la probabilité que les entreprises annoncent leur investissement.
